UK Government plans to ditch Microsoft Office in favor open-source

Hmm, I don't know if this is gonna be a controversial move or perhaps a good move. A good move in ditching Microsoft Office service is that your documents are safe from being spied. A controversial move in ditching this is that the spying process may be somewhat spread to open-source solutions that the Europeans may somewhat need to keep a lookout for. Now, it seems that the UK Government is planning to ditch Microsoft Office perhaps to save costs but despite that, many of the private companies in the UK are still using Microsoft Office. Sure, the open-source software similar to Microsoft Office is somewhat inferior but at least, the open-source office suite software is something you should have used nowadays instead.
Last year, Neowin apparently reported on the IT consultancy that claimed that many of the clients are were ditching Google Docs service in favor of Office 365. Maybe the new cloud technology from Microsoft is interesting enough to use and especially for the Office Web Apps which are incomplete compared to the clients' counterpart but at least, they look kind of similar and have more features like always. So, bravos to those clients for ditching Google Docs in favor of Office 365, not because Google is kind of an evil betrayal to the users nowadays.
OK, it seems that I still have Office 2010 in my computer in addition to the open-source office solutions and especially when I had recently switched to Springpad for note-taking after thinking that even Evernote was the next victim of the spying agencies. Maybe next time, I'll transfer the notes from my OneNote and Evernote accounts to Springpad.
And of course, for future personal works, the graphics will be done with Inkscape but that can be time consuming and not all graphics are going to be done with that.

Magical Beat for PS Vita obtained

Originally in the arcades two years ago, the Playstation Vita release took place this year and after some time the Japanese version was released for the console, there's even the Asian release on Asian PSN in which I was finally able to play it and get the Nesica X Live like arcade experience.
Unfortunately, it looks like there isn't the online play feature for this version and instead, we get the ad-hoc feature in which it will disconnect the console from the network and perform ad-hoc connection. What a shame. I can assume that the arcade version has local network battle but then the game isn't that popular by then.
Firstly, the idea of putting Vocaloid music in a video game is a good thing but too bad it is done in the wrong way that the music sounds freaking repetitive compared to the rhythm games containing Vocaloid music I had ever played in the arcades such as Sound Voltex, Maimai, Project Diva, Groove Coaster, etc. The workaround is the alternative to this repetitiveness by putting in the music from other Arc System Works games such as Gulity Gear, Blazblue and so on. They sound even better and they are the better reasons to play this game.
Secondly, is the controls. Pressing down does nothing so you may have to use one of the buttons for instant drop. Also, there's another technique where you can scatter the pieces of the dropping block and placing them in specific location. I don't know how to do that and besides, I don't know how many buttons are there for the arcade version, is it 3 or 4? If it uses 4, things may have made more sense as if the forth button does something else to the dropping block.
Gameplay is something like Lumines but the way you merge the blocks is the use of Puyo Puyo method which means merging the blocks in any shape where-else in Lumines, you form a large rectangular shaped block by forming 2x2 of the same color. There can be 2x3 or 3x2 if you will for example but the minimum area you must form is 2x2. Just like Lumines, the merged blocks don't go off immediately once they are merged but unlike Lumines, you must time correctly when dropping the blocks instantly as the game is both the puzzle and rhythm game. Be on the lookout for nuisance blocks as well and the way you eliminate them is similar to the ones in Puyo Puyo series.

LNY with IT Electronics at SIngapore Expo

Sure were tons of smart TVs taking place at this year's IT shows at Singapore Expo. It seems that LG, Samsung are not the only ones with their smart TVs. There are other smart TVs powered by Android in which you can use the remote control, the wireless USB devices by Ranger for interactivity or perhaps the standard computer accessories. Other than those IT electronics, there were non-IT stuffs as part of the show as well.
Another cool thing is the fact that the Lunar New Year is coming so some kind of special promotions were shown.
After the visit, there are even more smart TVs available for sale at the shopping complexes with the similar technologies. Also, what had shocked me was that there were even Ultra HD TVs for sale as well. Those TVs look gigantic and they are extremely expensive as hell. The least expensive one I saw cost about $5000+ with the maximum price being about $10000+!

Starblade PS1 version obtained

Man, what happened to the 32-bit versions? Why is the arcade version better to play? Well, let's see the flaws.
  1. Additional bullshit coming out of nowhere: While additional voice clips are added which make it a nice move, what the hell is up with those sound effects coming out of nowhere? How could they take the clip from some superplay video from the Starblade laserdisc and then put it in the game? Can't they put in those voice clips without putting anything else?
  2. Boss Self-Destruction: You can't believe that Namco has turned this arcade game into an FMV game for the 32-bit version probably due to the fact that the entire graphics are put into the video. It's fine to make things choppy but you know what's really wrong with this move? During boss battles, there's no way to take short time or longer time to destroy the bosses such as the power source of the Octopus weapon and Iceberg Control Center as well as the enemy flagship commander. Instead, they're parts of the FMV and the time for boss destruction comes in after how exactly long the time for boss battles takes.
  3. Firing input is awful: You're better off playing this in the arcades, PS2 as part of Tekken 5 or the Wii. Even if you turn on the rapid fire cheat, it doesn't help out in destroying as many enemies as you want for survival. There may be a workaround in using the mouse or Playstation flight stick for better movements but it cannot be same for immediate input response in firing at the enemies.
  4. Awful collision between your lasers and enemies: This flaw and the previous one when combined will take up beyond a few credits you're given. It's kind of difficult to destroy the enemies that take up several hits, the enemies you want to reach, the enemies that are parts of the environments and the amount of projectiles that are thrown at you.
There's the Mega CD version of the game which is better than the 32-bit versions and the past version you could buy instead although it still uses FMV sequences but in a better way. Other than those, you're better off playing this on the PS2, Wii, the arcades and mobile via a discontinued compilation app. From what I saw from the Wii version, you can use the Wii remote as moving the flight stick.

Samsung's product for Mobile World Congress turns out to be their handsets with Tizen OS

The MeeGo OS was somewhat underrated for the Nokia phones but then, it seems that the Nokia cellphones were quite popular until things seem to have changed the smartphone market as we know today. Popular ones are the IOS and Android smartphones and now, it seems that Samsung is likely to change the OS for their future smartphones with Tizen OS. What is Tizen OS? Well, it's another Linux based smartphone OS after the Meego OS. So, they are planning to show their Tizen related products at the Mobile World Congress event in February 23rd.
Unfortunately, there was a setback last week when NTT DoCoMo shelved their plans to release the Tizen related products. The main problem is that the other operating systems than IOS and Android are pretty much underrated that nobody may have interests in them. Sure, there may be popular Linux OSes like Ubuntu for instance but it cannot be the same for the others. Like why would people waste their time in creating their own Linux based OSes? Isn't that looking like there's way too many of those OSes? The previous underrated OS for Samsung was Bada OS for their handsets that they're now using the Tizen OS. It may look different for sure as we know.
Your best bet will be to install Cyangenmod on your Android devices for better privacy and security as this Android OS alternative is popular and you could have used that on your existing Samsung devices if compatible instead of this disaster of underrated-ness Samsung's planning this year.

SteamOS Beta Update

Now, this update brings some good opportunity to download the beta version of SteamOS as it has the dual-boot feature as well as custom partitions in expert install mode. In case you need some sort of system recovery, there's also an opportunity for you to burn the software to the DVD for that. However, since this is the beta version, expect a bunch of bugs to pop in and especially when you're using the prototype versions of other OSes like I had already used before. Sure, the users may be a little bit annoyed when those happen but then, this is the prototype version and hopefully, more things can be functional in the final version.
Final version? We don't know when but we assume that it should be released sometime this year and we know that Dell's Alienware is releasing their Steam Machines in September.

Microsoft is not pleased with the NSA reforms

What the hell happened to US nowadays? The speech for the reform was somewhat not enough like it was a failure according to the score by EFF. Sure, we have been forced to use the US related technologies that our information has been collected illegally but nowadays, we should try to find the NON-US technologies and use them in the first place.
So far as of today of this blog post, I'm already having Ubuntu OS in my computer in GNOME mode, Firefox, my Sina email account, my Nico Nico Douga account, etc. It's a shame that I don't post so much videos to NND but then, my videos are already too inferior to that service like people won't seem to be interested in comparison to showing stuffs off on YouTube which is kind of fucked up nowadays all because of Google.

Samsung Galaxy S5 to be launched tomorrow

According to Samsung, there will be the new TouchWiz interface that may somewhat look like the Metro UI or something. For the specs, there will be an even higher resolution for the smartphone, 16MP rear camera and so on. The phone will be launched tomorrow at Barcelona which is the day of Mobile World Congress where tons of mobile devices will be shown. New specs and features are what make things interesting to look at for tomorrow's IT event at Barcelona. The release will take place at the end of April.

LG's G Flex to be released next month in Europe

The curved phone from LG is already available in Asian markets but soon, things are likely to expand. Starting next month, the phone will be released in Europe.
You can check out the new CPUs, the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor, along with 2GB of RAM, perhaps, the phone is trying to get a superior performance for various mobile games with 3D graphics. Downside is that, it uses the 1280X720 resolution but that should be enough for a retina-displayed phone.
Lastly, there's self-heating-coating feature on the rear which makes the phone immune to scratches and nicks but I don't know if the front portion will be as immune as the rear part.

Wireless speed of 300Mbps at the end of the year

South Korean wireless carrier provider, SK Telecom promises that they will be launching the version of LTE-Advanced that will have 3 bands combining 10 and 20 Mhz that may achieve speeds of 300Mbps. That is quite faster than the wireless internet connection technologies we use today.
But before we can start using this service, the company will work with OEM and chip manufacturers to implement the global standard of the technology by the end of the year. Next month, there will be Mobile World Congress where the faster speed of 450Mbps will be shown by the company.

Project Diva F 2nd Update

The update looks interesting in which the Diva Room and Edit Mode are improved even more and so is the new gameplay mechanics but it can also mean the expensive prices for the console and the game's controller themselves.
In the Diva Room, you can deliver them presents and do some interactivity with them but doing either one of these too much can drive them mad. Even worse is that your presents may be rejected if you try to place too much stuffs in the room as if there's not enough space. Certain items cannot be given as presents so you have to place them yourself in the rooms for decoration. Other presents will trigger the cutscenes which may be another positive thing about the Diva Room. So, you should know what you're doing. Sometimes, they will request you for certain stuffs so you will need to follow those requests. Doing so successfully will increase the friendship levels quicker.
Unfortunately, some of the interactivities are impossible to do so between virtual and reality such as having to hug them. Some of the cutscenes that involve them doing something to you are kind of pointless as well. This is way much further than the prequel and the fever mode for that interactivity is obviously to make things more complicated.
There are existing songs from the previous games but with newer models and different scenes.
Project Diva F 2nd will be released for Playstation 3 and Vita on March 6th.

Teku Teku Beat by Arika

Strange that even Arika goes into rhythm gaming but this is not the first time though, their previous rhythm game was Technic Beat for Playstation 2. One interesting thing about this upcoming rhythm game, Teku Teku Beat by Arika is that it has the songs from various Taito games including Groove Coaster Arcade. If those songs are the reasons to get this game, so be it. But the better reason will be the inclusion of Vocaloid and Touhou songs like Namco, Konami, Sega and Taito had already put in.
The game will be out for IOS in January 22nd so we have a few days to go. I don't know if there will be an Android release and especially for the international one.

Blackphone

What? Another Android derived OS on a secure phone? This won't be like 100% perfect! Can't they come up with the embedded Linux OS for that? Why is it based on Android? The smartphone version of Ubuntu called Ubuntu Touch is likely to be arriving sometime this year perhaps to teach Google a security lesson or something but I don't know if Blackphone's OS can teach the spies the same lesson as well.
It is an unlocked phone and works with any GSM carrier, maintains your privacy and security, gives you the freedom to choose your carrier, your apps and your location. Phone calls, SMSes, files, chats can be secured through the VPN but we don't know what kind of VPN this one uses. Will that VPN be free or something?
This is developed by Silent Circle, which might have brought us their secure email service previously and right now, both the OS and that mail service are still in development and I don't know if people around the globe will be using them once they are out. The Android based OS is called PrivatOS. Another company called Geeksphone is involved in this project as well so we're looking forward to it.

SteamOS and Steam Machines - Successful or Unsuccessful move?

You know, the only part of this approval for is probably the SteamOS which is Debian based and that is that as well as the Intel Core i3 processors for Intel CPUs which combined are for secure gaming purposes I have come up with. But even then, I don't play so much of Steam games as admitted as the first few games I played on that service before were obviously the indie games on Steam. I don't know what were the interesting games to find on Steam which are not the Indie games back then.
The first problem that makes things backfire about Steam Machines and SteamOS is the fact that they have the dual-boot feature and the connection between Steam Machines and PCs for network gaming. The network gaming like that may be fine but the dual-boot feature is by then a no-no that may cause SteamOS to be IGNORED. This may make you think of the Steam Machines as another kind of gaming PCs and speaking of gaming PCs, they may be extremely expensive and speaking of expensive, the range of prices are from $499 to $6000+.
Your best bet will be to stick back to playing Steam games on Windows or Mac client or have better secure gaming with the Wii U and Playstation 4 as this approach from Valve to me is going to backfire if done incorrectly.

Microsoft's other Twitter accounts attacked by same hacking group

Those fucking RESEARCH-LESS CYBER-CHEMICAL IDIOTS! Sure, they might have prepared a bunch of virtual chemical-like programs to launch the attack on Microsoft the last time and now they're doing this same BULLSHIT AGAIN! It's like more servers and social networking accounts belonging to Microsoft were blown up online by those idiots. Well, really, had they even discovered the news that Microsoft would swear to encrypt the services against the cyber spying agencies the last time?
This time, the victims are the official Twitter accounts for Xbox Support and the Microsoft Official News. You think this kind of network intrusion can end the cyber-war like that instantly? And in fact, we don't know if Microsoft will plan to encrypt the Xbox Live with the same encryption plans they use to encrypt other services of theirs like Windows Azure, Outlook, etc.?
This bullshit has to stop and it should not make other tech companies the same victims as well. If those dumbasses at SEA continue that, then someone can make sure that the ones behind this bullshit will have their future ruined.

February 11 - The Day We Fight Back

A bigger protest will be taking place in February 11 against the mass cyber-surveilance we know of. In addition to the regular internet users, they will be joined by various organizations like Mozilla, Reddit, EFF, etc. Sure, I've been using Firefox for privacy safety but it cannot be the same for those faggots supporting those cyber-spying agencies even if they are those regular users. If you see such supporters like that on the internet, you may as well block the fuck out of them.
The first thing will be to embed your banners and widgets to your site. I don't know if IDL has known this preparation but it may be a good and easier thing if I embed those from IDL regarding this campaign. Right now, the final design has yet to come.
Third thing will also be to join the conversation with Reddit. Unfortunately, I don't have the Reddit account and I don't know what's the proper reason for signing up for that safe service.
Forth thing is about coming up with your own ideas.

Windows Phone 8 to 8.1

You know, you should KNOW which IOS version is the highest version the previous IOS device can support and especially for the specs of that device and the higher system requirements for the future OSes. This may be the same for Windows Phone series devices in which Windows Phone 7 can be upgraded to 7.5 which is the highest version for Windows Phone 7 series devices due to the difference of the kernels between Windows Phone 7 and 8.
For Windows Phone 8 to 8.1, how can the upgrade process work? Will Windows Phone 8.1 still be based on Windows 8 kernel or perhaps Windows 8.1 kernel?

This year's CES brings 4K PC monitor prices down to as low as $699

OK, it seems that there are tons of 4K desktop and laptop displays as well as the 4K TVs that will be coming in sometime this year or in the future.
Dell has announced that their 4K monitor will be arriving at $699. Downside is that it is running at 30Hz and it's not useful for smoother multimedia purposes as if it's a pointless monitor to buy. Your best bet will be to wait a few months for other monitors to arrive as they are having 60Hz.
So speaking of waiting a few months, Asus will have their own monitor that will have a 1ms response and the special blue light filter that will reduce the flickering on the screen. Price will be more expensive though at $799. There's another one from Lenovo which will go on sale in April compared to Asus' monitor which will arrive in the second quarter of the year.
Expect even more of these that will be arriving this year with better prices and specs.

Toshiba 5-in-1 laptop PC

In addition to using this PC as the standard laptop computer and the tablet, there are additional modes of this device in which you can flip the screen 360 degrees while it is connected to the keyboard dock. The forth mode is the Canvas mode, which the keyboard base can be rotated 270 degrees that may be useful for graphic artists in making digital artworks. The last mode is Presentation/TV mode which allows the detached PC to be placed in a position to watch the videos without the need of the dock but how can this work without the dock?
We're not currently sure on this concept design but for now, we can focus on discovering new interesting technologies that will be available in the future.

Panasonic Performance version of Windows 8.1 4K Tablet

Even as a tablet device, the Performance version is like seriously big that it may be difficult to hold and use at the same time. Perhaps you're better off putting that down on the table and using it this way. I might have seen the device from Lenovo that is similar to this but for a big tablet device, it may look like it is useful for graphic artists for instance.
So, the specs are revealed for Panasonic Windows 8.1 4K Tablets and the Performance version is even more superior but more expensive. While the Standard version will be out in a few weeks, the Performance version will be out later this Spring.

Toshiba dual-camera modules

Having dual-camera modules in devices may be a big deal as it is for producing 3D videos. And the worse thing is that to produce 3D videos, two cameras or two devices with cameras may be required and that may be twice as expensive and especially when having two different devices is like a pointless idea for 3D video production.
Of course, having a 3D Video Chat is kind of ridiculous with the dual-camera modules and especially when having a video call. It seems that Toshiba had revealed their dual-camera modules for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices at this year's CES. What they planned was that the dual-camera modules were able to simultaneously shoot images and gather depth data. Using the LSI chip, it measures and appends the data depth to objects in the image.
The only opportunity for this kind of media production is the fact that you can save money on buying another identical camera or another identical mobile device just for that kind of 3D Media Production. You can buy a device containing dual-camera modules and then commence the media production with that instead.

ASUS Transformer Book Duet

This one's gonna be a little bit more interesting as this laptop/tablet hybird device has the Instant Switch Button that will allow you to switch OSes between Windows 8.1 and Android that easily and the keyboard dock gives you an additional storage of 1TB which is the normal hard disk storage of course inside the dock. So, the dock is like going USB-ish or something like having both the external hard disk and the keyboard connected at the same time as the USB bundle-like thing.
This device will cost $599 or $699 if you're going 1080p and it will be released late in the first quarter of this year in Europe but for US, they will have to wait until the end of the second quarter.

4K Display Windows 8.1 laptops by Toshiba at this year's CES

The previous 4K Windows 8.1 laptop was the one by Panasonic which was revealed at last year's CES so you might expect it to be released last year but the bugs caused the delays that it will eventually be released this year in February at the HIGHLY EXPENSIVE PRICE of $5999. The system specs are way too high at the time and especially for the upcoming 4K Windows 8.1 laptops by Toshiba which were revealed at this year's CES. The specs are somewhat different compared to Panasonic Toughpad. One of the laptops, Satellite P50T, will have the touchscreen support but even then, such upcoming laptops like these are seriously more expensive than the Macbook Pro laptops with retina display.

14 companies offering Steam Machines this year with many dual-booting Windows

Dual-booting Windows on Steam Machines? Perhaps not all Steam users are familar with the Linux OSes probably due to how different they are compared to Windows. Sure, certain administration tasks still require that we use the freaking command line and it is still the reason of difficulty spike of OS usage. However, the positivity of Linux nowadays is probably the high security and safer privacy and that not all people know what the Linux OS is.
Right now, the only better reason to buy the Steam Machine will be the fact that it has SteamOS as the main OS along with the CPU processors that don't have the Intel V-Pro technology. That may be the important criteria if you are to decide on buying one Steam Machine for safer gaming.

Game Center Love Plus Pengo for Xbox 360

The graphical quality is not gonna be that great as the graphics still look like they're based on the NAOMI graphics engine with some required enhancements. Sure, there may be overhauls but not too much and some of the stages from Shmups Skills Test are replaced in Game Center Love Plus Pengo with the new ones. Okay, so the background graphics and objects are updated but it's not the same for the sprites. It may appear that Triangle Service itself is still a small company but it could have been better if they collaborated with other companies to help out like G.Rev already did with Treasure back then.
So, it may seem that the game itself doesn't use the full power of the Ringedge 2 arcade hardware that it can be somewhat ported back to Xbox 360 as the results. The gameplay may still feel old-school and the Action Game Skills Test mode isn't that great either. The first disadvantage of the game is that in Action Game Skills Test mode thing, some of the stages involve moving the joystick in left-right or up-down directions which can be damaging to it in the first place. Secondly, in Combatzeal, there may be some overlapping of the playfield but that is more of a minor issue. Third disadvantage is that the graphics don't seem to be going next-generation at all. Forth disadvantage, Combatzeal is nothing but another mini-game in the compilation.
Overall, the game itself may be okay but I don't know if the Xbox 360 port is going to improve or not. The Xbox 360 version will be out sometime in March and you may be better off playing this on the console than in the arcades. There may be better current-gen shmup games out there in the arcade on Sega Ringedge 2 and Taito Type X2. The most fun games in the compilation will probably be Pengo HD and Shmups Skills Test. If you already have the previous Triangle Service games on the Xbox 360, this compilation should be quite affordable as well.

This year's CES at Las Vegas

Next week is a big one for new technologies of the future. Few things include the upcoming Steam Machines, wearable computing devices such as the smartwatches, Lifeband Touch and even the Google Glass, 4K displays and newer smartphones, tablets and PCs.
For Steam Machines, tons of third-party PC manufacturers will be involved in making their own versions of Steam Machines but we don't know if this is going to succeed or not. Right now, the safer success of using Steam with better privacy protection will be the Linux version of it but even then, you may be better off playing games on the PS4 and Wii U. As of today, the link between SteamOS and Windows and Mac OSX is still not yet available as SteamOS is still in beta stages. Sure, there may be some plans to synchronize your Steam gaming between SteamOS and Windows client version of Steam for example but that will be when SteamOS will be finalized in the future. The worse thing as of today is that there's no way you can try to dual-boot SteamOS along with another OS. Now, that is the reason on why am I not able to give that OS a try on my computer.
Next is the wearable computing devices. The Google Glass is still under beta stages, there will be Lifeband Touch from LG as well as some new smartwatches from Intel.
4K Displays! For whatever reason, this technology is not executed yet although it is already implemented on TVs, YouTube, tablets and computers with 4K resolution support. There will be a new codec for YouTube called VP9 that will allow you to stream such videos.
Other than those new things, we don't know what will Microsoft have in stores for this year's CES and there will be newer smartphones, tablets and PCs in which huge IT technology enthusiasts have nothing much to say about them other than taking those gadgets for standard things. Sure, we may be interested in new technologies but then we still already have our own gadgets at home like the tablets, smartphones, computers and other external computer accessories we already have. Thing is, those gadgets we have are not new anymore but exploring and trying out new technologies and services is a great opportunity for us.

ZTE announces 5 new smartphones for this year's CES

So, there will be five smartphones announced for CES by ZTE. One of them is the Grand S II which is the followup from their flagship smartphone released last year. This phone is purported to feature the voice technology for device unlocking so we don't know if this can work as part of the security ways but think of this method like you're saying something to the door to allow it to open magically. Of course, the downside of this technical feature lies with some bad healthy conditions or something in which this voice feature won't work if you're not feeling well for example.
Other phones are Nubia 5S and 5S Mini, Sonata 4G and Iconic Phablet. For Sonata 4G, it is developed in partnership with AT&T prepaid mobile offshoot Aio Wireless and for Iconic Phablet, it will have the wireless charging feature. Wireless charging feature? How the hell will that work?
Earlier last year, ZTE launched the Orbit which is the Windows Phone device. They also plan to announce a number of other tech products at this year's CES, including a mobile hotspot and their new smartwatch. Can their new smartwatch be more fair technically like it can be connected to any phone and any computer? Can that smartwatch be better than Galaxy Gear?
Okay, it appears that I have explained the new technical features for those phones. Other parts of system specifications are nothing special to talk about such as the CPU, camera size and other stuffs. I'm here to discover and say something about some new interesting technologies so we'll be looking forward to seeing more technical stuffs like the new smartwatches, modern printers, mobile devices with new technologies and so on.

Lumia Black starts rolling out this year

Last month, the Lumia Black update was rolled out by AT&T to the users in US but the rest of the globe still has yet to receive it. For China, they will get the update next week with other countries to follow sometime in the first quarter of this year. This brings Nokia specific additions on top of Windows Phone 8 Update 3 in which it has some exclusive apps and usability tweaks in addition the Update 3's enhancements. The Chinese version will have Call Blocking and Application folder in addition to Glance screen, Nokia Camera and Storyteller apps, RAW support and Bluetooth LE 4.0. Perhaps the rest of the globe should also have the Call Blocking and Application folder as well as these features are somewhat common.
Well, if you do have Windows Phone 8 Update 3 preview as released in October last year, you can get the Black update sans Update 3 as noted by Paul Thurrott.

Modern UI Firefox for Windows 8 is delayed again till March

It may seem that there are still remaining bugs to go before the release of the browser for Windows 8 and the worse thing is that the developers are already taking a holiday break for some reason that Firefox 27 and 28 will be delayed. Firefox 27 will be released next month instead of sometime this month. Back in September last year, the browser for Windows 8 had already entered the Beta channel and at the time, the browser is able to share a single profile with the desktop version of Firefox.

Skype's official Twitter and Facebook accounts and blog intruded

You know what else is technically bullshit this week? Some hacker group called Syrian Electronic Army has infilitrated Skype's official Twitter and Facebook accounts as well as the official blog into telling Skype to stop spying on the people. This is not the way to attack them like that. Leave that telling off to Microsoft in which the Skype Team has to be told off by Microsoft for that bullshit anti-privacy thing. You know what, Microsoft is already planning to encrypt their services against the cyber-spying agencies in US and UK and that the implementation will be completed by the end of this year.
It's like the Skype servers have caught fire all because of that hacker group like some virtual weapon is launched at them and then Microsoft quickly took some immediate time to repair them while trying to look for the culprits. Sure, speaking of the culprits, we don't know who from that hacker group is behind all this bullshit at this moment.
And at the time this blog post is written, the official blog of Skype is still inaccessible.

Last day before the New Year

What the fuck happened to me yesterday at the arcades? How could some retarded enemy of mine from Bedok 418 pass some of his retardness to me like that? And now I feel like a fucking jackass in Beatmania IIDX for playing like that! That was a controversial playing I got yesterday and a controversial way to end the year 2013! So it looks like I may be in trouble for that kind of disgrace unless I solve this troublesome problem of retardness as soon as possible.
Speaking of that wailing enemy who had been crying out loud back then several years ago for failing his N-Level examination in my post-secondary school days, it may seem that he has more guts to harm the other nations even more than me nowadays. But for every indirect trouble he causes against me, he is likely to blame.
The only satisfaction was that I had gone through a bunch of Level 10 songs in Sound Voltex II through Skill Analyzer like I was able to get through Level 3. Unfortunately, I forgot to attempt the Level 3 from Skill Analyzer Set 1 or 2.
This disgrace has better be fixed this year as soon as possible or I may fear that more troubles will be coming in. It's not because I was feeling sick last week for days. It might be because the temperature was going lowest at 21 degree celsius last month that might have caused people not to tolerate that extreme coldness. If this is the kind of trouble that wailing enemy wants to continue, then someone will have to deal with that for me.
