Coqui The Game - After the controversy

This one pretty much sneaked past Sidalpha's radar by not being part of his Dirty Game Dev list as the game was released on Wii U a few years ago and THAT WAS A FEW MONTHS after the Nintendo Switch was released. Who the hell would want to play this when the Switch was already released and anticipated? How anticipating the Switch was? It was due to the innovation that addressed the flaws the Wii U has and the Switch console is more successful than the Wii U. There were last official games to be released on Wii U at the time of course but some of the Wii U games were not re-released on Switch yet with additional contents.
In case of Coqui The Game controversy, many YouTubers already made videos about this and the shady game developer behind it. That deserved to be Sidalpha's Dirty Game Dev list but he wasn't on that list as the momentum of the Wii U was quite low and the 8th Gen consoles are already having tons of indie games released on them including the Switch. In fact, when the Playstation 4 was going to be released at the time, there were many kinds of games to be released on it as launch titles. That included even indie games so why couldn't that developer transfer development from Wii U to Switch like other game developers did?
Until the present time, there aren't so much videos of Coqui The Game and the recent scummy actions from that indie game developer flooded the rant videos with useless hate comments with 'obsession with reglion' out of his mental illness. I discovered this controversy recently after some YouTuber tweeted about this recent action and I replied to him that Sidalpha should do a Dirty-Dev video of this game if Sidalpha wants to. I didn't mention Sidalpha in that reply as this is more or less an old news from 3 years ago but that it seemed that Sidalpha will do a video of this because of my reply tweets as if this news from him will become definitive enough to put that game developer in his Dirty Game Dev list.
The case is still not closed yet and the developer of Coqui The Game will need some mental help if his craziness goes on. Oh, I even discovered another game on Twitter that uses Coqui and that is called Coqui Beat by Star Yolk Games whose presentation is even better than the one on Coqui The Game. Coqui Beat is still under development as we speak and nobody knows what platforms it will be released on.

AI: The Somnium Files - Review-bombing incident

Seriously, the perpetrator must have lost his god-damn mind and gone to a new low when it comes to heavy obsession with a particular fictional character and review-bombing as multiple accounts? WHAT WERE HIS REGARDS when it comes to AI: The Somnium Files by Spike Chunsoft, a visual novel game? Not to mention that Spike Chunsoft specializes in adventure and visual novel game genres but back in the past, there were Chunsoft sound novel games and some games already had a television drama adaption. Many of those games by Spike Chunsoft are themed on murder mystery and you have to find clues and whatnot and then figure out the culprit behind the whole chain reaction of the incident in general. But be warned, there will be spoilers. Depending on the game, the story concept may or may not be quite dark when it comes to murder mystery theme. There was one sound novel game from Spike Chunsoft that was played by Chief Arino of Game Center CX and needless to say, he found the culprit, and thus, clearing the challenge and getting a good ending. Funny thing was, there was a localized release of that game although I don't know if the story will be same or not after you've seen the episode which obviously has tons of spoilers coming from the game he played. In regards to the review-bombing saga of AI: The Somnium Files, this is completely pathetic as if you care more for one particular stuff or one particular character depicted than the main stuff.
Apparently, the perpetrator had heavy obsession with a particular character which is a female high-school student doing live-streaming stuff although things won't go that smoothly because of the dark story depicted in the game. I won't explain what goes on as there will be tons of spoilers just like what other Spike Chunsoft visual novel games have. He doesn't like what goes on in the story but things about her are not the main important points of the game. The main important things are that, there's a murder incident going on in that game and it's your task to investigate it. The protagonist of the game is the male detective with the female internet personality I just mentioned being other one of the main characters. Of course, I don't condone that behavior the perpetrator had and I already blocked him on my Twitter and YouTube accounts for that.
Another thing he had done was that he review-bombed the game as multiple accounts under one or more different IPs to attract negative attention over whatever happened to that female character he liked. Followed by him coming up with various fake investigations of his only to be exposed some Twitter user like it's a murder mystery solving game already with that perpetrator being the culprit behind the whole mess. Eventually, he was banned from ResetEra but at least those involved in the development of the game were glad to have a happy ending and the game receives a higher user score than ever on Metacritic website.
Oh, as if that incident wasn't enough, the review-bombing CAME BACK AGAIN! Nobody knows if this is done by the same guy or not but it seems that the flaws are still there at Metacritic as if there's still no security feature against review-bombing. On Steam, there's already a feature like that and the user reviews stay mostly positive. Maybe the autistic anger is still there that the review-bombing came back again for the second time. Don't you hate such filthy nerds like that review-bomber for that indecent and immature behavior?
Some comment on Yongyea's video of this mentioned a case of a YouTuber being cyber-attacked by such similar individuals through false reports or something because that individual didn't like what that YouTuber said about the particular fictional character that individual had heavy obsession with but I don't know if that comment is true or not. If it's true, other YouTubers might end up making their own videos about that cyber-incident.
In the end, AI: The Somnium Files is one of the excellent games you should buy if you're interested in it and especially for other games done by the same director or even Spike Chunsoft themselves since that company specializes in various game genres like visual novels, adventure, sound novels, etc. Professional critics like it and give it a higher score with the average review score of being around 80%+.

Windows 12 Lite (Fraudulent Linux OS?)

Whatever that OS is, it is fraudulent and based on Linux Lite. Not to mention that the screenshots from the official website are quite obvious that the OS is based on Linux Lite as not all things can be transformed to Windows that easily. Somebody must have taken a Linux OS, disguised it as Windows and then selling it as Windows 12 Lite which is illegal enough that Microsoft will find out. It's a shame that the only way to get Windows 12 Lite will be to buy it BUT you will be ripped off if you've bought a fraudulent garbage like this.
It was discovered by some visitor of the computer roadshow/fair that Windows 12 Lite DVDs were being sold there and there was even a photo of them with the obvious looking instructions. It's not the first time I discovered something illegal being shown at the computer roadshow. The last time I discovered from the local computer fair at Singapore Expo had the NES/Famicom clones shaped like NES Classic/Famicom Mini in action. How could they get away with selling those non-genuine gaming systems locally? Even the local shops should be guilty of that in my opinion as the NES/Famicom I played in my childhood were non-genuine whatsoever.
I don't know if you're going to show that photo to Microsoft as evidence or not but my imaginary concern is that a paid Linux OS disguised as Windows is something Soulja Boy can pretty much do and Windows 12 Lite is one illegal example. Whoever sells this must have ruined his future as the Windows related stuffs are more or less copyrighted material.
The first time I discovered this fraudluent garbage was from the Softpedia website but other tech news sites might have mentioned it by then. I even tweeted about this to Michael MJD and he found it funny but there's one technical thing to remember is that, in-place upgrades are not available from Windows to this Linux-based garbage. Not to mention that Wine is still inaccurate in supporting newer Windows apps but it's still being updated to support them as well as to make sure that they can be run in Linux properly. For Steam on Linux, it may be a different story.

eXtern OS Beta 2

Well, Beta 2 of the controversial hobby Linux OS was recently released to the public although the Beta 2 was previously released exclusively to the Patreon users in which Beta 2 had tons of progress going on. Unfortunately, there were mishaps occuring on me when using Beta 2 on the virtual machine on Virtualbox and VMWare.
On Virtualbox, the Live DVD mode partially worked with the Installer mode not having whatever UI problem whatsoever but on VMWare, the Live DVD worked with blank screen. On Beta 1, the eXtern OS' own desktop environment worked in Live DVD Mode but that was when I used it on VMWare hypervisor software.
At the time, I was like customizing the whole eXtern OS Beta 1 that was installed to the VM HDD to have the package list match the one from the other Linux distribution including PureOS 9's. I went through tons of troubles in customizing the Beta 1 although I still have some remaining troubles like the eXtern OS Live Session account is missing by default that I'm not able to login when booting up in Live DVD mode and I did the same things to the Beta 2 by customizing the customized Beta 1 build even further to make its package list match the one from the Beta 2 build of the OS which required that I installed KDE Neon on the Beta 1 virtual machine as well as putting the data files from the eXtern OS Beta 2 Live DVD into it. Of course, there will be no guarantees of the web data working correctly embedded on the virtual machine but the funny thing was, while customizing things, I sort of ran the eXtern OS desktop app from the Lost & Found menu which opened its own taskbar and desktop wallpaper after setting up the correct path. Of course, the data was from Beta 1 when I test-opened like that.
The system requirements are more or less changed and especially for the EULA which is absent in Beta 2. Other initial impressions are that you should be able to install Beta 2 of eXtern OS officially as well as access Terminal easily. In Beta 1, you should be able to install provided that you have the Linux distribution setup app like Ubiquity but that was an unofficial way and even then, in-place upgrades from Beta 1 to Beta 2 are NOT available. In theory, you should be able to upgrade from Ubuntu 16.04 to 18.04 but, Ubuntu 16.04 to KDE Neon? That seemed impossible to me that I would have to do a clean install or some sort. Last impression is that there's even Over-The-Air update or some sort in Beta 2.
The end result was that the customized ISO of eXtern OS Beta 2 I did had lesser file size than the original ISO's file size which is 3GB+ compared to the Beta 1's 1GB+. I don't know if the controversy regarding data collection is gone in Beta 2 or not but this is one Linux operating system that you should keep it in check. Also, another concern is that eXtern OS has a bunch of stuffs that required paid licenses for implementation which the author had paid for as they don't seem to make it open-source.

ARESPEAR gaming PCs by Konami

So, Konami was involved in the manufacturing of the gaming PCs which were done with eSports and 120Hz in mind. Speaking of 120Hz, some of Konami games will be supporting that such as Beatmania IIDX Infinitas and Heroic Verse with the latter for the Lightning Model cabinet. It seems that many other devices with 120Hz were recently announced but who knows which games will be having that besides using 60FPS as default?
Currently, it may seem that Beatmania IIDX is getting 120Hz support but that's not the only rhythm game to have it in the arcades. Bandai Namco is announcing the same thing with the new Taiko Drum Master game. I assume that it will be next-gen as the current-gen Taiko Drum Master games in the arcades are still running at 60Hz. I guess that the current Taiko Drum Master games in the arcades are still at 720p or something with the upcoming next-gen being in 1080p with 120Hz support and the QR Code Reader. The upcoming next-gen Taiko Drum Master will be released on System BNA1 which uses Windows 10 IOT.
There's even Bemani Pro-League whose inaugural year will begin in May this year starring Beatmania IIDX although I don't know if the ARESPEAR gaming PCs will be involved or not. Other games to be parts of the eSports scene are Pro-Evolution Soccer series although I don't know if the other franchises will be part of it as well.

PC game, Mirror, is free as a limited giveaway to players in China

Due to the on-going virus outbreak that people were adviced to stay indoors as well as to wear a mask only if they're not feeling well or recovering from whatever illness they had, some Chinese game developers had the guts to release the adult game for free although the giveaway is limited to players in China that it requires a Chinese phone number in order for the game to be claimed. Other than the giveaway, I assume that the game is priced or some sort.
Who wants to be filthy enough to gain this sort of gaming opportunity because of whatever on-going outside situation? You won't want to give the organizers of M1 Fringe Festival 2017 the similar ideas for the future Fringe Festival that's like the controversial 2017 one where any local can surrender their local phone numbers in order to watch the live streams for free. You also WON'T want to give Arcane City Game Studios the idea of making a bunch of highly disturbing games available for free on both Steam and other gaming platforms. Obviously, such similar ideas are not going to happen and I don't know if the organizers of the M1 Fringe Festival 2017 had reflected on their mistakes or not because things about it were more or less disturbing. Not to mention that such highly disturbing games published by Arcane City Game Studios were already cancelled before release like it was a victory for those who made reports to Valve like that. Of course, such victory like that came at some price like the supporters of such disturbing material would try to be biased or whatnot, saying that those who made reports like that were like hypocrite, ignorant or something else for instance but that's all my imagination. I don't care about the premises of such disturbing materials like Mirror or Arcane City Game Studios published games that would be on Steam but to play such games like Mirror is to do it at your own risk.

Windows 10 IOT in arcades

A few years ago, Taito started using Windows 10 IOT on the on-going Type-X3 machines running the Nesica X Live 2 service before other companies started using that OS on their newer arcade systems. Konami's already doing that with the new Bemani PC for Beatmania IIDX Lightning Model cabinet, Namco's already doing that with BNA1 ever since two years ago and Sega's already doing that with Sega ALLS. The strange thing is that there are two different versions of the same game by Bandai Namco in the arcades with one of them being on the newer machine with newer contents.
Tons of games have been doing that and the same may go for some of Konami's rhythm games in the arcades in a different way in which new arcade systems apply to the new cabinets while the game is more or less the same with the one on the new cabinet having new features and its own exclusive songs. DDR A20 and DDR A were on-going simultaneously although DDR A20 is a sequel. At that time, DDR A20 was Japan-exclusive until it was released on the previous arcade cabinets and the arcades outside Japan although the palette is blue-ish instead of gold.
Then, about Nesica X Live 2 and All.NET P-Ras Multi 3, certain fighting games are re-released for those services with minor changes although the ones on All.NET P-Ras Multi 3 will have additional characters to match the console/PC releases or something like the upcoming Under Night In-Birth Exe:late [Cl-r] which will be released on PS4 and Switch as console releases with one additional character. There are even indie games that will be released in the arcades via All.NET P-Ras Multi 3 like Sound Shooting and Rolling Gunner to name a few.
There's also Exa-Arcadia which welcomes indie games although All.NET P-Ras Multi 3 may or may not take advantage of their capabilities for indie games on it. The rules are that games released on Exa-Arcadia must have exclusive contents. Anything that's exclusive to the arcade version cannot be implemented back to the previous versions. Somehow, the mobile version of Aka-To-Blue won't be discontinued after all although it won't have any support whatsoever. They had plan to discontinue the game on mobile in favor of the arcade version but that plan was scrapped. I guess that scrapping the mobile version of the game after the arcade/console/PC version is a sellout idea or some sort. The cartridges have some proprietary connection although nobody knows if there will be security features inside them.
I don't know if I get to see Exa-Arcadia games in the local arcades but if I happen to find them, I should be able to play them.

Tetote X Connect ripoff game, Fantasy Partner?

The upcoming rhythm game from Taito is still in development and there's a game in China called Fantasy Partner which is blatant plagiarism. Pretty much most of the stuffs are similar but there are differences in UI skin, characters, song list, background and even the cabinet. Like Tetote X Connect, the ripoff game's machine is seen running Windows 10 IOT or something.
As if those nerds' behavior isn't creepy enough, a ripoff game of Tetote X Connect exists to spread it around all over besides the genuine one that is bound to be released in the arcades in Japan although I don't know if it will be released outside Japan or not.
Further updates about Tetote X Connect include changes in the gameplay like the addition of the special notes and the removal of poses as well as the fact that the game will be playable in JAEPO event. I forgot to mention that it uses the GP system similar to what Border Break uses. After the song, you return back to the Menu screen where you can customize things or proceed to the Music Select again.

Some Bilibili video of this is the comparison video of Tetote X Connect & Fantasy Partner in this link: https://www.bilibili.com/video/av84116398.

iMJaystation controversy update

There have been tons of new things to blog about in the second part and of course, people want iMJaystation banned off YouTube for his on-going shaddy actions that have gone to an all new low like faking his girlfriend's death for negative attention and money as well as his viewers who are mostly children watching his videos that don't seem inappropriate for them in the first place like the contents that contain dark web, taking advantage of celebrity's deaths, and even inspiring other future-ending scums to come up with the videos similar to his that take advantage of the basketball player's passing like a video about trying to revive that basketball player or something. Of course, the dark web, the workarounds against the updated COPPA rules as well as the children being your main audience are sufficient to land you in trouble should you make a video as inspired by iMJaystation for negative attention. There are other shaddy things going on below besides all that shit above mentioned here:
  • iMJaystation's girlfriend's videos being taken down via false copyright strikes by him and then reposted on his own channel.
  • Evidences by SomeOrdinaryGamers are confirmed that the accident involving iMJaystation's girlfriend didn't happen, meaning that she's not hit by a drunk driver all along as SomeOrdinaryGamers made a clarification with the police officer via a phone call about that accident.
  • There was a break-in to iMJaystation's house by someone posing as a police officer who wanted iMJaystation arrested for assault. I don't know if the assault really happened or not but to impersonate a police officer is already illegal in the first place. How to know that that person is a police officer impersonator? From some tweets, something is off about the uniform he's wearing.
  • iMJaystation's difficult childhood, past imprisonment and lack of education might have posed him a serious difficulty in getting an actual job.
  • Telling the previous girlfriend of iMJaystation to quit school and dance in favor of doing YouTuber stuff which is outright rude and disrespectful in my opinion. You DON'T DROP OUT OF SCHOOL LIKE THAT in favor of whatever ambition you want to start. I may recommend that you graduate from school with a Diploma or Degree although the Degree is the most recommended level that opens doors to more jobs you can find and then start your goddamn career ambition like you want to be a professional sports player for instance. Is that the future you want that person related you to go through?
  • To report iMJaystation's videos for whatever legitimate reasons you have will be to get yourself attacked by his white knights for that. Of course, there's someone who wants him reported because his music is stolen and passed off as iMJaystation's.
There will be additional things to collect in the evidence inventory but for now, there are other things to report here like having signed the petitions against iMJaystation and of course, his Twitter account already suspended. Why can't YouTube suspend his channel like it's beyond me?
