Microsoft interested in Cyangenmod?

Before Nokia was acquired by Microsoft, there were Nokia Android phones with Microsoft services and Windows Phone-like UI but Microsoft trying to use Cyangenmod? We don't know what are they going to use it for, their own Windows Phones? The competition is still on-going and Windows Phone is still lagging behind and having Android on Microsoft-made mobile devices is a bad idea. Perhaps, Windows Phone devices should have support for Cyangenmod if possible but that is for the future Windows Phone devices. Maybe the third-party manufacturers should ensure that their Windows Phone devices can support Cyangenmod, not Microsoft. Nobody expects Cyangenmod to be running on Surface series devices or any other modern Windows tablets for example, NO ONE! This is a bad idea from Microsoft that the third-party manufacturers should use Cyangenmod for their device production instead like what the Blackphone and OnePlus One are already using. Nobody knows what will happen if Microsoft uses Cyangenmod for.

Disconnect Mobile removed from Play Store

As if the fanboys of advertisements at Google think that the anti-ad apps stink or something, it may appear that even Disconnect Mobile to them stinks as well. They can probably think that it may end up being used by the destructive bad criminals only when they never know that it is also used by the good guys like us. Well, it is a bad move from Disconnect. They shouldn't have put it available in the Play Store in the first place although they claimed that they might have known the Google policies. Perhaps, going against advertisement may affect the business but then, they should have made this app available as the APK for package installation, not the app that can be obtained easily through Play Store. So what, it is like it's Disconnect's fault for putting Disconnect Mobile in Play store in the first place that it gets taken down after days. It's not the first time that such things already happened. The previous apps were Ad Block and even Cyangenmod if you're going full private on your Android device.
So, if you're going full private on your Android device, you will need to backup the apps you have before installing Cyangenmod and installing it is not easy that you may need the original firmware as well which is the Android OS. It takes uneasy steps to do this. The downside of using Cyangenmod is that you will need to install the Google apps yourself which are privacy invading in the first place but you should be able to install Disconnect Mobile through package installer after that in the first place.
Only cyber-fools think that the privacy related apps are fucking malwares and it seem that the ones at Google do so. Disconnect Mobile is still intact on App Store. Get it before it gets taken down there as well.

IPhone 6 and IWatch

OK, this is somewhat one of the weakest plans and ideas to announce things like that in September 9 to me. Maybe this is some upcoming event I should avoid blogging and taking a look at lest my brain gets fucked up with something stupid again like what happened more than a few years ago. I should have known a personal lesson by present times, not to contribute supportive or hateful things to any fictional or real person, group, the corporation or content that has the power of stupidity. Perhaps, I shouldn't have done any supporting or bashing at all to those stupidities and espeically for the fucking idiots who come up with the stupidest bills or policies I have ever seen on the internet, like the fucked up Content ID system, going racist against the muslims like taking them for destructive bad criminals or even spying on everyone including the foreign leaders and telling lies and making fake apologies that you're not doing all those bullshits for instances. This event by Apple, not matter how good it is, maybe I'm gonna skip it but anything with the power of 9 is something I have been avoiding.
For this event, the upcoming devices will not be produced by Apple until after the day of the announcements. It's not the first time Apple has done to prevent leaks and that's for the sake of security lest China pirate manufacturers make a bunch of Iphone ripoffs once the genuine products are revealed. Perhaps Microsoft should have used this product security technique earlier starting with Windows 7 development days instead. They shouldn't have learnt the lesson too late like that once knowing that Windows 8 was leaked illegally. Perhaps, that was to prevent the piracy of prototype products and prototype products would be abandoned sooner.
The IWatch will be released sometime next year.

Windows Live Messenger to shut down in October 31

Last year, Microsoft had announced that Windows Live Messenger will be shut down in October 31 that users have to migrate to Skype which is kind of more popular. Now that Skype is with Microsoft, it may seem that Microsoft will have more work after that to keep Skype going. There may be recent features as well as the fact that the UI is redesigned with Modern UI in which the only ugly looking is taking place in the video chat section while the rest of the new Skype UI looks simple and fine. Perhaps, they forgot to change the background of the video chat or something to make things better.

Onedrive update for mobile

There are more things to talk about the secure-ass services like the Onedrive and Outlook that will tell the fanboys of privacy invaders to shut the hell up. But enough of that, this update may include more features for the mobile version of Onedrive. However, not all versions may have the same features available in this update.
For Android version, you get to access the corporate and personal Onedrive storages in one app. For IOS version, you get the All Photos views where you can see all photos in a single view. Lastly, for Windows Phone 8.1, you should be able to access the Recycle Bin from the app although the Recycle Bin feature in cloud storage is completely kind of unncessary unless you may have deleted those online data accidentally.

LG G3 Stylus

OK, such a resolution like 960X544 makes this upcoming smartphone kind of acceptable but the original G3 has gone way beyond the purpose of the high-end smartphone specs such as the Quad HD, with 2.5Ghz Quad-Core CPU and 2/3GB of RAM. The specs for G3 Stylus feature the slower Quad-Core CPU with 1GB of RAM onboard and what makes this inferior is that there's no 4G support for G3 Stylus compared to original G3. Having such a super-high spec for G3 may make it really expensive to buy but why do you want Quad HD on the smartphone anyway? Where's the Retina Display-like feature for the TVs nowadays? Why do they have to make new TVs even larger physically with the Quad HD support. Not to mention that there may be tablets with Quad HD and other specs that make them highly expensive to buy.
Perhaps, the LG G3 Stylus will be less expensive by then and it will be revealed as part of the upcoming IFA event.

64-Bit 8-Core Snapdragon chipset for Android

Seems that Iphone is the first to get the 64-Bit CPU or something and in the future, the Android devices will be next for next generation mobile performance. There may be 64-Bit Windows tablets but that doesn't count as they are the same kinds of tablets ever since the past ones like they are not 100% as mobile as the Ipads and Android tablets are.
Having 64-Bit CPU in a mobile device may give you the experience in making use of more hardware resources such as the full RAM usage for example. The first Android device will be the HTC Desire 820 which is like superseding other Android devices as HTC is like on life support nowadays due to Samsung taking over the Android market by storm.
Further announcement will be happening in September 4th or later as part of the upcoming IFA event.

IFA Trade Show in Berlin - Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact

There it comes, another big IT event next month! OK, it seems that the Neowin website theme has changed into something simple and clean looking that is optimzed for every device using the modern technology. Check out the way you roll your mouse over the recently popular articles, they zoom in a little bit and get highlighted. Anyway, change aside. It seems that Sony is like going in the right direction this time around by ditching the Playstation for Android service like they're sticking back to releasing more Android devices in a normal way as the third-party manufacturer like the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Also, the Playstation 4 sales have gotten quite high, outselling their rivals like for the first time in this generation but of course, it looks like the Wii U is gaining more momentum due to some killer first-party games that are worth the reasons to buy.
However, from the recent Neowin article about this, we're not sure about the price of this upcoming tablet. Having it expensive may lead to less people buying it and it's a similar situation with the Playstation Vita console where it and its accessories were seriously expensive. It looks like Sony's better do this one right this year. Also, they're releasing their Xperia Z3 smartphone months after the Z2 release.

Windows for Internet of Things

This one may look like it's a different edition of Windows Embedded similar to what Windows Thin PC is. It is going to be based on Windows 8.1 with Windows Thin PC lagging behind but we don't know what is it going to be exactly based on. Will that be based on Windows Embedded maybe? For Windows IOT, it is likely to be available on various electronic appliances we use at home. We might have seen printers and cameras with their own OSes, the cars with on-board car control systems and other different OSes we don't know of technically. Nobody knows them but it's a safer bet that we use them that way lest someone tampers with the Windows or Android related OS in the fucking car remotely that the accident occurs all because of that. What if some bad guy tampers with the Windows or Android IOT related appliances and things all follow his commands then? Security questions aside, the Internet of Things are the embedded devices of the future for home use, personal use, and even business use everywhere. The Android IOT is already at the beginning with Android smartwatches, cameras, Set-Top Boxes, and even the unnecessary game consoles powered by Android which are not that great when we can already play most of the gesture-friendly Android games. We may expect the Wii U or PS Vita kind of combination when it comes to Android-powered game consoles but most of the Android games don't make use of such combination.
For Android Wears as part of IOT, there will be more of these coming out in the near future. The last thing is that Windows IOT is already powering up the Intel Galileo devices but it's under beta phase so it works on first-gen devices. No idea what the OS on action on these devices looks like but we have already seen the those devices.

Another IT Show checked in a week ago

OK, for whatever reason, there really wasn't anything new there other than the same manufacturers and products being displayed there. The smart TVs from Samsung surely are a little bit new or maybe the existing ones with new features of enjoyment. The truth during the exploration was that I had the future plans to buy a new IOS or Android device as my mobile devices are getting old and it may be a reason that I couldn't try out the Miracast thingy so I was out of luck but then, I'm still able to play the recent Android games on my Android device. And the Blu-Ray movies seemed to be really impressive like they are running at 60FPS or something from what I saw but even the FMV sequences for games using Blu-Ray should be in 60FPS in the first place as well.

Xbox One to get the new YouTube app

No, I had already removed the YouTube app from my various mobile devices except for Android in which the YouTube app can't be removed since it is part of Google. The reason for that still regarded the content ID disaster I already ranted at although my YouTube account isn't affected by that mess. Hell, I even posted a bunch of gameplay videos of various licensed games I have played but you should check the recent gameplay videos of licensed games of mine since I had owned that game on my Android from Play Store and it is free. It is pretty much legal based on the conditions:
  1. The gameplay video of the licensed game based on whatever content.
  2. The copyrighted content in the licensed game mustn't be too clean or the company may think that you may have posted the video with the content taken from somewhere else.
For number 2, the content in the game may be exactly the same or not. What makes it exactly the same though is like, okay, the content is the intro of the licensed game that is exactly 100% the same intro of whatever animated movie for instance. This may include the music, the intro animation with the same-god damn title of the animated movie, not the game title, and other stuffs that are the same with no modification whatsoever.
And while Sony may seem to be doing right even before and after Gamescom, it appears that there may be more entertainment apps and services coming to Xbox One which may continue to break the purpose of the modern game console. The game console when promoted should contain a bunch of games in action as part of the events, not any other bullshit which has nothing to do with gaming whatsoever. Playstation for Android was already ditched but the inaccurate thing from Sony was that they forgot to show off more Playstation Vita games in the event in addition to showing off a bunch of PS3 and PS4 games. It might be a shame that the Playstation Vita isn't that popular in the west and even the Eastern games released in the west don't seem to be appreciated of. I know that those games released there are not gonna be accepted by the western gamers in which they think that Sony is lazy, messing around or something unless those gamers happen to be the fans of whatever contents they like.
So, the new YouTube app will bring you the new experience with the TV-like interface for Smart TVs, Set-Top Boxes but game consoles, what the hell? If video capture without the need of the video capture card and YouTube are the combined reasons for today's game consoles, so be it. There's already Twitch.tv feature for both PS4 and Xbox One and they feature their own video capture feature so that there's no reason for you to get the video capture device.

Windup by Microsoft for Windows Phone

Unfortunately, this app may seem to be the research experiment made by Microsoft Research and it doesn't scream privacy anyway and therefore, it is nothing competitive. Even if you have used this app on Windows Phone, there is still room needed for improvement and at the same time, it has the number of features that perform similarly to the ones from Snapchat. Sure, there was some FTC ruling done against Snapchat and Facebook over privacy violations the last time but it may seem that Facebook is an even worse offender that you may want to bash on. I actually had something in my head about plans to bash on Facebook but then, there isn't anything appropriate so things are scrapped.
This app is for testing purposes and not said to be the core product from Microsoft and in the future, some rival of Snapchat may come up with their own app similar to that that has BETTER PRIVACY PROTECTION.! Certain Snapchat users were already not happy about the privacy violation the last time that they might have decided to ditch it completely in favor of other services but like Microsoft said, Windup for Windows Phone is part of the Microsoft Research experiment that those users can use Windup instead. Unlike Snapchat, the contents posted to Windup may be erased after some time.

Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse obtained

I guess that I bought the mouse that utilizes the Windows 8 technology from Valore shop for the first time but it appeared that things were uncomfortable when I was doing my personal stuffs. Net-surfing with this mouse should be fine although advanced multimedia work and gaming should be making use of the more advanced mouse instead. The good thing about this mouse is that you can set how the middle button will trigger when you click it. For example, PowerPoint slideshow, you can set the middle button to trigger the Digital Pen mode but then, I don't know if we can switch it back to normal mode with this mouse. If there's a technical ability like that, you should be able to present to the Internet users in the professional way like what the Microsoft employees in charge of the MVA videos do. But if you do have a tablet with the stylus, it may be a better method as you can draw things better.

IPv6 Essentials by Dr. Chip

Guess what, it's the third webinar about the IPv6 Essentials I attended yesterday. But unfortunately, it appeared that Advanced Systemcare took out my documents and other stuffs on my computer in addition to removing the junk files that I completely lost my IPv6 Esssentials event notes from the previous webinars. However, the recently created and modified data was still intact after that. And that caused me to uninstall that tool in favor of using other similar tools to maintain my computer.
From the webinar inside, unlike the previous webinars of the same topic, this one doesn't give us the slides related to that but I took the screenshots of certain slides for important reference. One interesting thing is that we saw the full course list of IPv6 where you can learn at Nephos 6 which is some language for Cloud. But what's up with the site called Gumroad, where you can sell your stuffs there? Thankfully, there is a great mix of Nephos 6 and Gogonet so if Gogonet brought you to Nephos 6 like I was brought to yesterday, you should be able to gain access to more IPv6 related trainings. Hopefully, it should be similar to Cousera, Microsoft Virtual Academy and of course, Gogotraining where you can learn online and get certified.

Yahoo and Google to encrypt their email services next year

Perhaps, the companies were afraid to tell public the truth in the interview about the situation of the on-going illegal cyber-surveillance so they eventually told some lies in avoid to avoid going out of business or something. But that was last time in which they were forced to do that and this time, Yahoo and Google are planning to make their email services more secure so that it can be worth the reason to use them again similar to what Microsoft did with their Onedrive and Outlook. However, there may be security experts and researchers who are concerned that this kind of customer privacy protection may put an end to the relationship between the tech giants and the enemies of the internet freedom we already know of, meaning to say that the enemies like those cyber-spying agencies are not able to receive anything new from the tech giants.
Last time, there were some illegally unacceptable contents stored in some cyber-criminal's Onedrive and some others or maybe the same person's Gmail account which led to the arrest of those cyber-criminals. We may be lucky that Microsoft had come up with their Digital Crimes Unit which may look like the Microsoft in-house cyber-police station or something used to capture the cyber-criminals. Sure, both Microsoft and Google teamed up the last time to ban 18+ contents from being stored in their services, so be warned about that and we believe that what these two companies did were right. Perhaps, those cyber-criminals took the opportunity to possess those illegal stuffs of theirs like the freaking 12-year-old kids.

Playstation for Android is dead

OK, not all Android devices may support the Playstation games but this may seem to be a complicated phase for Sony and especially for the Playstation Certified Android devices of theirs which may be the first to get Playstation games. Another problem is how complicated it is to play on the mobile devices due to the amount of virtual buttons and virtual analog sticks seen on screen and it's completely weird compared to using the actual controller. Why can't they stick to the PSP + Modern touchscreen combination which is pretty much the PS Vita which is already doing good with Playstation games? Speaking of Playstation Mobile for the future, it can be better on the PS Vita, not the Android devices.
Seems that there will be no more plans to extend the Playstation Mobile for Android service even further so that the company can do things right again.

OneDrive in Amazon Appstore

Hmm, I wonder if this is going to be some kind of security awareness spreadout type of the move or maybe a pointless move as even the Amazon services and devices are affected by some hidden security flaws as well but the Onedrive service already has the recently improved security that not even the professional cyber-spying agencies can penetrate easily. This being on IOS, Android and even Amazon devices doesn't seem to make things highly secure enough. Also, Onenote is available in Amazon smartphones or tablets as well.

Gamma International - Spyware producer for government agencies

Wherever and whatever this company is, this is one of the biggest enemies of the Internet which produces these spywares for the government agencies in Bahrain and the former government of Egypt. Not only are the desktop and laptop computers being affected, but also the mobile devices such as the smartphones. The victims are likely to be the civilians and the journalists similar to whatever is happening in other countries as well. It may be a bigger shame that this spyware is already sold off to various Asian countries like Thailand, China, Japan, etc. and it looks like it hasn't been unleashed yet. US also has this spyware bought but then, it may seem that China is already banning the foreign products due to that similar fact that the similar spywares are already inside those products. What about the local products? Are they infected by this?
Basically, this spyware disguises itself as whatever plugin installed on every website but disabling every plugin in a browser may break the freedom of net-surfing as you're not able to watch Youtube videos like you probably want for instance. Not to mention that the HTML5 for YouTube can behave like there's still nothing wrong or maybe something incomplete and fucked up. Also, it has been attacking the Bahraini activists like trying to detect the place for some destructive-ass bad guys there. And of course, nobody likes those who blow up stuffs because it's traumatic for cilivians like us.

Microsoft lost the court battle but the fight is still not over

As if some stupid scumbag tries to go against Microsoft into asking them to hand over some private data for the same illegal and stupid bullshit, it seems that the fight for the freedom will not end and it looks like you can continue to use the recently encrypted services like the Onedrive and Outlook. They were recently highly encrypted that would make things difficult for the cyber-spies in the US and UK to infiltrate them but despite that amount of power of security Microsoft has, some judge is trying to go against that power with some ruling. Even the warrant was said to be invalid according to Microsoft.
The company itself is going towards the cloud technology that is spread all over, simply surrendering anything may cause harm to the customers' privacy and the efforts for high privacy protection will be a waste by then. The Onedrive service is highly encrypted but it is not the same for Windows Azure. Have they got the time to encrypt that? What about Office 365 and Windows Intune?
