Top 5 Wordpress blog posts of last year

Yikes, I forgot about this and especially the one for my Facebook account. The worse thing is that it's already too late to blog about my last year Facebook review as if that feature is gone. Sure, there were tons of educational progresses going on last year that I had been updating my Facebook cover with those progress but to you, it was more of a bullshit move for sure.
So here are the top 5 Wordpress blog posts of mine of last year:
  • Game Maker Studio for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8
  • Calendar App on Windows 8
  • Hardware Acceleration in Windows 8
  • Xbox One to be released last year with Kinect 2.0 for Windows to be released this year
  • Dodonpachi Saidaioujou and Maximum OST CD
OK, four of them were posted two years ago but this is the proof of my Wordpress annual report anyway. The next thing to talk about is the busiest blog post of last year and that was 'New Xbox 360 Dashboard update starts rolling out'. Again, that was posted two years ago. Anyway, that should be enough for now and we have more news of this year to blog about.

Firefox OS for TV and tablets in addition to smartphones

So far, the OS had taken off with the smartphones running it but the number of features for this OS surely is inferior or something compared to the popular OSes which are not secure nowadays. The next plan from Mozilla will be to bring this OS to the TV and tablets. Sort of like browsing the Firefox browser on TV and tablets for real in Firefox OS similar to Chrome OS except in a little bit secure way.
Some companies like Panasonic are already to launch Firefox OS TVs this year which will be intially as expensive as the smart TVs today in the first place. Ultra HD TVs are like the serious nightmares to buy as if they have the price of the car!
Also, having so much low-end devices like that running OSes like this is not gonna be worth the greatness of the performance. Not to mention the lack of the competitor of the App Store, Google Play like store for Firefox OS which can make things pointless for its future and especially when there will be additional announcements that extend the disaster. So, where are the med-end devices and above? Why is this so prototyp-ish like that? Unless, there are sufficient features, there will be no point in getting TVs or tablets running this in the future.

EMET 5.0

EMET or Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit from Microsoft is the detector of the exploits on the PC that are yet to be fixed. Recently, the version 4.1 was completely bypassed as if the intruders were allowed to penetrate the computers through those exploits. The upcoming version 5.0 will fix those exploits however, it is under technical preview so things are still not secure enough.
There will be two features such as Attack Surface Reduction and Export Address Table Filtering Plus. Attack Surface Reduction is designed to fight off the exploits found in Java and Adobe Flash as if you can use EMET 5.0 for increased security while Export Address Table Filtering Plus is like the improved version of EAF.
And of course, is there a good reason for this tool to be shown at RSA conference this week?

Internet Explorer 11 on Windows Phone 8.1

Sure are tons of Windows Phone 8.1 update news everywhere but the next conference Microsoft is going to be involved will be the BUILD conference where Windows Phone 8.1 will be demonstrated.
The Stop/Refresh button is at the address bar for Internet Explorer 11 Mobile similar to the Windows 8 and desktop versions of the browser and other web browsers you're using. Back then for Internet Explorer for Windows 7 users, there were both Refresh and Stop buttons on the same bar at the same time.
Also, there's the Reading Mode where you can read articles without so much distractions as well as other settings you can make adjustment from. There will be extended support of HTML5 and WebGL and other stuffs, etc.

Blackphone now available for pre-order at over $500

Unbelivable, this one is available for pre-order at beyond $500 compared to OnePlus smartphone which is promised to be under that price. Between this and the upcoming OnePlus smartphones, you can obviously choose theirs if you're going for the less expensive but more secure phone. There's another smartphone which I already blogged about that runs the Firefox OS and Android and that is some smartphone you can buy in the first place.
The smartphone will be available to the number of carriers in Europe but we don't know if there will be the US release. Test units will be available in April and those who pre-order the phone will eventually use it in June. But over $500 pre-order price? You may still want to wait until the phone is released to see if there's a different price next time.

Nokia smartphones and BBM

This one's a big news about Nokia due to large involvement at MWC. The first they're announcing is the Lumia 630 and 635 Windows Phones. They may look like Iphone 5C or perhaps the Lumia 620 which is more or less what the Iphone 5C looks like.
As of now, we may have known that Windows Phone 8.1 will have virtual nagivation keys and Lumia 630 and 635 will be the first ones to have this feature.
BBM or Blackberry Messenger on the other hand will be coming to Windows Phone through Nokia Lumia devices this year. The previous release was the Android and IOS versions last year. Two more apps announced by Nokia for Windows Phone such as Photoshop Express and Food Panda. Note that Food Panda is obviously for India only so speaking of remote food order service from India, I guess that the people living in India can order any food from whatever shop in that country through telephone serivce like some commercial I can remember before. If you're trying to call for food order, you can only do so from whatever restaurant, coffee shop, etc. from whichever country you're living in.
Lastly is the Nokia Android devices called Nokia X series. But rather than Google online serivces, it's Microsoft's. Perhaps Microsoft will be buying Nokia soon or something. There will also be the app store run by Nokia as well as the third-party app storefronts. These Nokia X series smartphones will be available immediately in Asia, Europe, Africa, Middle East and South America.

Facebook Messenger for Windows Phone

From MWC today, it seems that Microsoft has confirmed that there will be Windows Phone version of Facebook Messenger. Previously, there was the Facebook Windows Phone Beta program in April last year that would allow the users to try out the app which has been developed entirely by Microsoft's own team. Right now, it is unclear on whether Microsoft will do the same thing for Facebook Messenger or not.

OnePlus smartphone update under $500

From the Facebook posts, they're planning out the best components and the specifications of this year both inside and outside and that the device will be launched in the second quarter of this year. Nine-band LTE support is also promised. Price-wise, it will be released under $500 unlocked and off-contract.
And according to some request from the customer, they won't have plans for the mid-end and low-end smartphones of theirs in favor of the high-end ones which may be expensive in the first place.

Public downloads will be migrated from Dropbox to Mega?

What the hell surely had happened to Dropbox? It seems that they're planning to update the Terms of Service starting March 24th. The first part surely prevents anyone from making any lawsuit against them and we don't know if this is kind of bullshit or not for whatever reason. Also, how are they going to solve the cases in the future with the move that is said to be a faster way? By using arbitration, of course, to settle disputes between you and the company.
Second is that how the company will handle requests made by government agencies for information about the customers. The company claims that they won't collect your personal information to third parties as they may swear or something and they won't store ads in your stuffs you store in your online storage.
But then, it appears that that will not be enough to protect your data from being affected by the spies. It seems that your Dropbox service can still be accessed by the government agencies on their own accord for whatever stupid shit they're doing. Also, it seems that any platform using Xbox Live today is unsafe as well probably due to that service being affected by the same bullshit.
Now, here's my plan after seeing that news. The future downloads of my stuffs from my blogs will be stored on my Mega account. Right now, the migration is still at the beginning stage as there are so many stuffs I made and published to Dropbox. But by migrating them, what will happen to the optional download links on my YouTube videos then? Also, all the download links from Dropbox to Mega will be somewhat applied to my Wordpress blog while the Dropbox download links will still be on my Blogger blog.

Karous: The Beast of Re-Eden for 3DS

Man, when it comes to shmups for mobile devices, it looks like we don't give a shit about those for 3DS probably because the top screen of the 3DS is for having 3D graphics and it has higher resolution than the bottom screen which is for interface thingy. It may look like a disadvantage for shmups compared to Nintendo DS which should have a couple of them in the first place which takes advantage of combining two screens into one vertical. On the Playstation Vita, it is already getting some momentum with Sine Mora when it comes to portable Playstation console shmups but that is not enough for it compared to its predecessor. So obviously, we prefer the shumps for the home consoles, arcades, smartphones, tablets and even the computer.
So games like Karous: The Beast of Re-Eden and Kokuga are starting to get underrated for some reason probably due to having so much missions to deal with and being less arcade-styled. In Karous: The Beast of Re-Eden, you get like tons of missions to deal with and each set of levels surely contains those missions. The graphical style is identical to Karous for the arcades. This is made by Klon which has the employees of Milestone who made previous shmup games such as Radirgy series, Chaos Field, Illmatic Envelope and Karous. For Kokuga, that is not the shmup at all. It is more of the top-down action game for 3DS where you move your tank and shoot in whichever angle you're in. Then, there is a spinoff Dodonpachi game for IOS by Cave released last year and it doesn't seem to be arcade-styled as well. The bullshit thing is that the only way to attack the boss will be to activate the Attack Mode and then use those characters from below to do the attack. There may be tons of missions as well in that game and the concept doesn't seem to match the original series anyway.

UK Government's support for ODF only is not enough

It may be a good move to ditch Office 365 technology in favor of open source programs but then, there's another concern to worry about. Will the open source programs be the next cyber-victim of the spying agencies once they become so god-damn popular? It seems that Microsoft Office is the most popular Office suite and it has been used by huge amount of people including business but the downside of this move by the UK Government is that other file formats are not supported as concerned by Microsoft.
The other format is Open XML which is used by IOS and Google Docs in addition to Microsoft Office but then, I don't know what is the good point of using Open XML when IOS and Google Docs are already the targets of the cyber-spying agencies?
I can believe that you can stick on to Microsoft Office alternative for the sake of securing your privacy but using that alone will not be enough for business. The cost will be higher and dealing with the government in the future will be more tough for supporting ODF only.

Android Coffee Table at $6950!

This is unspeakably extremely expensive and more expensive than those ultra-large screen laptop computers with the 4K support. Its specs is gaming friendly along with the Blu-Ray drive although it may be a requirement for other operating systems, not Android. The larger model will have 500GB HDD with 16GB of RAM while the smaller model is half the ones from the larger model. A 3.7Ghz Core I7 processor makes gaming really epic on this coffee table computer provided that it is not running the popular mobile OSes such as Android for example.
There will be dual-boot to be planned as well to overcome such unnecessities of some parts of system specs. Sure, they may be unnecessary for Android OS itself but for other OSes, they are kind of epic of gaming purposes.
Your better bet is to buy the Lenovo Coffee Table PC I saw at the IT show the last time. Yes, I already talked about that but with recent research today, it turns out to be costing like $1000-$2000 range.

Google Fiber plans to extend 1Gbps service to other US cities

Two years ago, Google Fiber had already launched this plan of high-speed internet connection in Kansas City metro area and now they're planning to extend this service to various US cities sometime this year. However, not all cities will have this service soon but there should be other better fiber-topic internet services to look for than this or the ultra-evil Comcast's fiber service in the meantime.

OneDrive finally launched!

Now, check out the Automatic Camera Backup which basically uplaods the photos you have taken to the OneDrive. I don't know if this is similar to the Camera Uploads from Dropbox but I guess that it should be similar that way. It's just that you have to open the Camera section in the IOS version to allow the uploads to happen compared to other versions. Another feature is the video transcoding, which reduces the file footprint of a video that is being downloaded from Onedrive. I guess that there should be multiple video sizes for a video you want to download from.
However, since the launch of OneDrive today, it appears that they will add additional features in the future.

Lync + Skype for business

In May, it seems that Microsoft will be connecting Lync with Skype for extended communication for business but what about the consumers when it comes to Lync? At least for Office 365 and Hyper-V, they were already available to consumers recently but that was like two years ago or something so we don't know if Lync will be next for consumers to use or not.
The example is that the employees using Lync will be able to communicate with their friends and family in Skype through their Lync business accounts. Perhaps it may be due to the use of the Microsoft accounts but they cannot be exactly common between the business and personal Microsoft powered accounts. I don't know if this will make sense when the employees use their personal account in Lync to communicate with those using Skype through their personal accounts as well.
Also, the Android client version will be available sometime in summer.

Todd Park in support of Net Neutrality

It has been weeks since the Net Neutrality was wiped out by the recent court case that the revival is demanded from everyone including us. Also, the loss of it had already caused certain companies to be unhappy about it and others to betray their customers. Of course, Verizon is one of the betrayals out there in which it was one of the stupid supporters out there about throwing off the Net Neutrality just because it hadn't made it through the national register. Really, that Verizon? Perhaps the bashing on Verizon still continues for that.

VAC doesn't record DNS data

We don't know the reason on why do the players want to cheat in Steam games unless there's some sort of difficulty in those games that they have to use the cheat codes. To me, I don't know if recording DNS data of the gamers is a big or medium deal but it may seem that it is for the sake for banning cheaters. However, if this is kind of bad to us, then you may be better off playing similar games on the other platforms instead. Right now, I don't think this kind of action from Valve is kind of bad but the truth is that they're not actually recording the DNS data of the gamers for whatever cheats they use.
Bravos to Valve because if there's any bad technical motive in Steam, there won't be any more point in playing Steam games anymore in Windows, Mac, Linux or even the SteamOS.

Ikaruga for Steam Update

This one may look like an interesting reason to use Steam but that's not enough games ported to Steam from the arcades. It is somewhat likely that most of those games have been ported to the consoles from the arcades for some reason and PC gaming is somewhat a different story. There are also games in the same style as well but they are actually in the consoles and mobile devices, not Steam. Also, recently, it seems that Arc System Works had also joined Steam in addition to Capcom and SNK Playmore doing so for their upcoming fighting games released for the service, be it the old one or the new version of the old game.
For Treasure, it might be their recent entry to Steam with the first game for it being Ikaruga. It is based on Nesica X Live release as we saw from the screenshots such as the in-game interface, the title screen, achievements and so on. There's even the vertical and horizontal screen support as well as multiple screen ratios. The major enhancement in HD is probably from XBLA port which has better lightings, different colorization for the models and the sprites that are said to be taken from Gamecube version. From the Nesica X Live version, there are additional programming stuffs done to Chapter 3 and 5. Also, the game start screen is completely different compared to the original arcade version which displays the ship along with the pilot.
The Steam version is likely to be released this month and that took the small developer team the longer time to improve the quality of the game like porting from Nesica X Live version to Steam. If only the XBLA version has the patch to match the Nesica X Live version in the future, then we can see additional programming enhancements done to the game.

This year's JAEPO for Bemani

Sure are newer games from Konami this year. Titles such as Jubeat Saucer Fulfill, BeatStream, Pop'n Music Lapistoria, Gitadora Overdrive and the new Slient Scope arcade game.
For the original Slient Scope on the arcades, it is running on the same hardware as Gradius IV is running. I believe that the series is the light-gun sniper game series where you have to aim and shoot at the enemies like a sniper. It may be what the story of the series is all about. Just like other railgun shooter games, there may be bosses to deal with and you have to shoot off the projectiles that are shot/thrown at you. There are other things the bosses do that you must deal with or you will take damage and especially for the enemies that are too close to you out of nowhere trying to scratch the shit out of you.
The third Silent Scope is said to be the final series but it receives the mixed reviews perhaps due to the lack of arcade accessories that mimic the arcade experience? The was a reboot that was cancelled three years ago that was for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 but its genre turned out to be the third-person shooter. Why the reboot with different genre? That will ruin what the series was all about back then. This year, there's going to be a new Silent Scope for the arcades with the E-Amusement feature. I assume it will have high-definition gameplay but we don't know what PC-based arcade system the game will be running on.
Hmm, I surely prefer playing light-gun games on the consumer systems than on the arcades for some reasons.
OK, Silent Scope aside, there are newer Bemani games this year. There will be a new Pop'n Music game that has some cool anime-artworks on it but unfortunately, there isn't so much of that like you still can see the solid, cartoonish traces of the series graphically such as the ones in-game. Perhaps you can understand that this is what Pop'n Music series is all about. There will also be Jubeat Saucer Fulfill with the updated Bistro Saucer feautre. The song swap system will be gone as I can believe but it's a damn to the initial music list and the way you unlock the songs that I don't seem to play Jubeat alot. There's gonna be Gitadora Overdrive running on the same system Gitadora is as well as the update to Gitadora mobile app with colorful interface. Lastly, there's BeatStream. From what I saw, the cabinet has two HD widescreen monitors similar to the cabinets that run the games with the trading card scanning feature. Perhaps we were wrong to compare this to DJ Max Technika as DJ Max Technika has two monitors SEPARATED and running in DUPLICATE mode. Also, the gameplay is going Samba De Amigo-ish or Maimai-ish and I don't know what the hell is Konami thinking. If Sega sees this, there will be lawsuit for sure.
For existing Bemani games, there will be changes to the interface for DDR2013, as well as the Infinite Blaster feature for Sound Voltex II. I don't know what that does for SDVX II for the sake of unlocking the songs in Infinite difficulty which is obviously the most difficult one in the first place.

IPv6 Security for Enterprise Webinar

A next webinar from Gogotraining I attended recently. I surely have the prerequisites of IT Security, Advanced Networking, etc. before attending that but this is the IPv6 of all the prerequisites I learnt.
There are various IPv6 versions of the technologies that you can use for your computers, servers and other networking devices but you should take note that some of the IPv4 technologies are gone completely in IPv6.
Having IPv6 opens doors to more hosts but it can be more complex and difficult to configure due to larger amounts and I don't know if security is more improved in IPv6. If we use it soon with superior security, then there may be a chance that you may be more secured until the future where the current IPv6 securities are defeated for sure. It can somewhat not mean that IPv6 is better than v4 in terms of security power. The fight against the cyber-threats is never over.
Also, some of the useless and sensitive features for IPv6 are disabled by default such as Router Advertisements Type 0 for instance. Whatever that is, it is opening the doors to attackers like it is vulnerable to attack if enabled. There are some features I know of due to having used Windows Server. You can find DHCPv6 and IPv6 addresses in DNS and other Windows Server Administration Tools.
Sure, I know things about IPv6 but that's not enough knowledge I have. I don't know so much of IPv6 addresses, their classes, their subnets, etc. so I guess that the previous webinar was essential-friendly to me like it may be a first step. How do I set up one IPv6 stuff? I have no clue how to do that correctly. I'm more of the client of that new technology after all but I'm sure more of the IPv6 stuffs will be talked about here in the future.
Unfortunately, as this webinar is 1-hour with slides only, there wouldn't be enough opportunity to learn what I need due to the lack of demonstrations. Also, I don't know if both the webcam and screen video recording can be done at the same time for this type of webinar by one person only. If we can do such a thing to teach people these technical things, why don't we do this in educational webinars like this?

Jolla's SailFish OS for older Samsung devices is available soon

So far, the only device that makes use of SailFish OS is Jolla's own and that the OS will be available for older Samsung devices soon. At this time, we don't know what are the older Samsung devices so we'll keep ourselves updated about it.
The interesting thing is that you are able to run Android apps via the custom Android kernel using SailFish OS but even then, we're pretty much more interested in Blackphone and its OS for the sake of better mobile security even though that phone has its OS that is also Android based. The other OSes we can be interested in will be Firefox OS and Ubuntu Touch OS in which we should be able to use as well in the future if they are available for any Android device.

Geeksphone Revolution with Android and Firefox OS

A definition of low-end Android device in which you can buy it for the sake of security. Perhaps you can buy this just for Firefox OS, not the Android itself but then, things will not be that great due to the low-end system specs. The dual-core Atom processor is what was previously used for netbooks and other tablets in addition to this phone. The device has 1GB of RAM but it has Ultra HD at 2560X1440 resolution display. How the hell can this device tolerate the ultra high definition resolution like that for the future?
The default OS to boot up for this device will be Android but the company promises the easy way to boot to other OS such as the Firefox OS or any other OS such as Cyangenmod. If Cyangenmod supports this device, that should be the great thing but we don't know if even the Blackphone will support that custom OS as well. Speaking of Blackphone, they will be reveiling it at MWC event with the large amount of security.

Microsoft, Google, Facebook and others joined in the fight

This is basically like the fight for internet freedom two years ago in which even the IT giants like Microsoft, Facebook, Google and others joined. However, it is still not exactly as large as the one two years ago. What about Wikipedia for instance? Did they black out for this fight yesterday against the on-going surveillance?
OK, it seemed that the same banner as displayed in my blog was also in Reform Government Surveillance website as well. It is the effort of various IT giants like the ones I just mentioned above. You can see the site there: http://www.reformgovernmentsurveillance.com/. There's also another official blog spot from Microsoft about this as well that was posted yesterday. Basically, we don't trust the technology or company that is involved in the cyber-surveillance thing. If that's the case, you may have to find the technology that is surveillance free but then, its functionality is kind of inferior. You can try out the Debian OS with Firefox for instance as well as other Linux apps available but not all kinds of apps can be commonly found there for use.

Google Glass + Robocop in reality

OK, it seems that NYPD is planning to use Google Glass for video capturing crime scenes for finding evidences so that they can capture the criminals whenever possible. Of course, another challenge is that the technology uses the social network services to identify the victims and suspects and puts them in the organizational charts depending on whichever cases they're solving.
The downside is that it may be costly and what if the bad guys are using this same technology as well? There was already a previous case which I didn't give a shit about about some bad guy using the same technology to record the entire movie in the theaters for future reference or perhaps the sake of pirating. Well, that was completely bullshit that he was arrested for that. Also, we don't know if the Google Glass technology will be used by NYPD for some bad purposes either but I guess that if any officer is caught using that technology to do bad things, there will be consequences for that officer. We may hope that those consequences will be real in case any officer dares to do those bad things with that glass. So, we may expect some good things with NYPD using Google Glass like trying to bring the Robocop thing in reality. It's a cool thing to bring that popular franchise to reality as long as such technology is not being used for bad purposes.

February 11, We Fight Back

In the mid-2000s until now, it has been like the cities in the western regions have been digitally blown with a bunch of digital laser beams from the invading motherships we call the cyber-spying agencies. Sure, those agencies are like the complete privacy invaders until now we don't know if there's an end to this cyber-invasion. Now, it looks like people are fighting back today for freedom which is February 11 in the eastern region with the western region still being a day earlier.
Unfortunately, this preparation doesn't seem to be as big as the one two years ago probably due to the fact that certain companies like Verizon, Google, etc. had already betrayed us but we hope that this set of actions against the on-going surveillance will succeed. Tumblr and Mozilla will be participating as well today and you can put in some codes into your site from https://thedaywefightback.org/?r=eff.

Firefox with Australis UI

Seems that Firefox 29 will have the Firefox Accounts that allow the online synchronization of the settings, themes and other stuffs for the browser. It should be similar to the one in Google Chrome browser that the synchronization takes place in various devices. However, I don't know if all the add-ons/plugins/extensions will be synchronized across multiple devices. Previously, even the Opera web browser is using the Google Chrome GUI along with some changes.
If the GUI is approved, they will decide to put it in Firefox 29 in mid-April this year. There will be two groups so far. One is the Australis project builds section and the other is the Mozilla-Central section which doesn't have the Australis code at all.

Google's violation of CNIL

Well, bravos and well done to evil technical betrayal Google for violating the privacy of the customers around the globe with their features that contain data collection bullshit. It seems like Microsoft will be proud that they will make another Google bashing advertisement of theirs, encouraging users to use Microsoft products. Hell, even the mascots of some Microsoft products will have even harder time fighting bad guys representing malwares and cyber-criminals when they find out certain IT betrayal companies like Google, Verizon, etc. It may appear that the new cyber-criminal corporations may be the spying agencies and the famous hacking groups nowadays that we may have to protect ourselves from them.
And really to Google for ignoring what the punishment the French government had issued by following the orders and policies of the spying agencies? It's like they have the guts to lie to their users while announcing other useless stuffs like the Chromebook and Chromebox as if there's no signs of security for privacy for those products. Even Jolicloud has the anti-privacy kind of bastard like Chromium based Dashboard that you may be better off using other cloud OSes instead of Chrome OS or Jolicloud OS.

Chromebox for business

The system is already available in the US for business at $999 with the product to be available in other countries in the future. It has Intel Core i7 processor with HD webcam perhaps for smoother HD video chat purpose. There may be USB ports for interactivity as well as the microphone and Google Hangout with Google Plus. I don't know what is the worth the reason for the business to use Chromebox but for smoother experience on the network in the meetings, it may be worth the use in case there's a huge amount of lags going on from the computer itself.
Unfortunately, this may seem to look like a strange move to the consumers and small business companies. The Xbox One already has similar features with Kinect and Skype but I don't know if you can communicate with your friends while playing that console. The downside is that you're not able to get video hints in case you get stuck in the middle of the game due to the lack of in-system video capturing feature which is something simpler than buying that freaking video capture device. Also, security-wise, there won't be any better points in using Google Hangout, Plus or perhaps Skype as the security we know of is already defeated. That means whatever you say with your colleague or friend will be interceptted no matter what like you're better off using other products instead of Chromebox.
And to Microsoft, the Chromebox may seem to look like an evil thing to them when it comes to cyber-security issues but the Google Plus is more evil like nobody bothers to use it. So basically, they keep on encouraging users to use their products for that reason but even so, some of Microsoft services are already the victims of the cyber-spying agencies until the year-end and the Chromebooks are pretty much bashed on by Microsoft via their recent ad.

Firefox for Windows 8 Touch Beta

*Sigh* When will there be the final version of Firefox for Windows 8 Metro? Besides, this is more or less a recent article from Mozilla blog! You can do one-touch swipe transitions like I don't know if you can transition to another tab or something in addition to transitioning from one app to another. Of course, it may pose a problem like that. Also, the interface should be kind of similar just like using Firefox on Android.

Firefox Launcher for Android Preview

As of the beginning of this month, it seems that Mozilla is developing their launcher for Android which may somewhat include the Firefox web browser. It should be similar to the EverythingMe launcher except for the inclusion for the Firefox web browser. We don't know when will the beta version be out but I hope that I may give that a try if available. Of course, I still have yet to add HTTPSEverywhere in Firefox for my Android device but it may be a different way to add plugins to the mobile version of the web browser.

IPv6 Essentials Webinar from Gogotraining

This is by far the first time I attended the Webinar from GogoTraining. It may be equivalent to the MVA Jump Start where you can put in questions and comments and of course, you don't even need the GoToWebinar account to attend those Webinars.
This one lasts an hour and the training starts in two days starting today Singapore Time. I already attended this training at 2AM today and the training ended at 3AM with questions taking 30 minutes to be answered. But that's not all, there will be more details about the IPv6 technologies to be talked about in the online workshop next week by the same person. In the meantime, this is all about the essential details of IPv6 technologies. Of course, I do have the knowledge about that but even then, it is not complete as IPv6 is still quite new to learn and implement with. There's even the audio chat feature for the webinars but as the training took place 2AM today, it would be inappropriate for me to use that so I'm sticking on to using the text-based chat like always. But even the audio chat features, I still prefer the text-based chat just like in MVA Jump Starts.
You can take screenshots but you didn't need to for this webinar as there would be links leading to the slides so that you can refer later. Now, for polls, things are more time-limited compared to MVA Jump Starts but they should be similar.
Now, at least you might have read the blog posts regarding the MVA Jump Starts but don't stop there. There may be other IT related online events for me to attend in addition to MVA Jump Starts so we're looking forward to them.

IA/VT Colorful for PS Vita

Another Vocaloid rhythm game to be released? That should be worth buying in addition to Megpoid: The Music on PSP. Shame that I wasn't able to find that game to buy for the PSP and it's not in the PSN Store either. This one features 60 songs and certain songs in this upcoming game are already in Groove Coaster arcade in which you should be to play before the game is out in July. Project Diva F 2nd is like out-numbered by this probably due to the disappointing number of songs but it seems that the developers don't want to put in the underrated songs like they already did in previous Project Diva games. They surely want the best songs so that people can play them but the problem is that the song list in Project Diva F 2nd doesn't meet the 39-song objective. Speaking of underrated songs, I don't know which songs in IA/VT Colorful are underrated. From the research, certain songs are already available to listen to and the rest are game-exclusive.
This is being produced by the person who produced Senran Kagura series and developed by Marvelous AQL. There will be some DLCs but I don't know if that is going to happen or not.

Internet Catastrophe?

The worse news from Avaaz is there as I already received the mail a few days ago. Previously, the court had already destroyed the Net Neutrality, leaving the internet in the US and EU with no real security whatsoever and conquered with the fake and stupid one. Also, it seemed that the ISPs in the US and EU were becoming the bigger traitors of the customers that you will be completely sick of living in US like some people on Twitter were already sick of and moving to other parts of America. Recently, the EU Parliament is planning to cause the same catastrophe to the internet in Europe as well as if the cyber-destruction is spreading from America to Europe and the destruction range is expanding, wiping out everything in the process.
You know what else is disastrous? It's the ISPs that make the website makers pay and slowing down those sites. I don't know if even the popular websites will be slowed down as well but this is some stupid bullshit you may be sick of. It's like the bandwidth has been wasted on data information collection through ISPs, telecom giants and IT giants and that's not the fastest bandwidth we may want.
If this is the stupidity they want, then you may want to avoid it. It's more like you may want to bash on Verizon and Vodafone for example for betraying their customers! How do you switch ISPs? You can figure that out yourself.
This so-called Net Neutrality has better be restored by FCC.

Lunar New Year Day 1

Before the first day started, I had already completed the 16-Bit arrangement of The Beautiful Magic from Magical Beat. However, from the music list in the game's sound test, it seems that it's not over yet. I still have to arrange one song from 0D Beat Drop which is the previous game by Arc System Works. 0D Beat Drop doesn't look like you're dropping the blocks to the beat and that is a huge disappointment compared to Magical Beat in which you can drop the blocks to the beat. You can drop them normally but that breaks the purpose of the game and it's not gonna help you alot in defeating your opponents. And the visuals of 0D Beat Drop are like the knock-off of Every Extend Extra Extreme or something, I don't know. Of course, the songs and sound effects from the previous game are in Magical Beat as well and unlike the previous game, this one has more momentum.
Perhaps I can try to do the video capture of the entire run of the game in the future. Not to mention that my YouTube account is kind of out-dated with no new videos whatsoever. If YouTube behaves like an asshole against us, gamers, perhaps I can post my entire run to NND which to them, my videos there surely suck ass.

Office Online

The interface may seem to be improved but even then, it cannot be the same for the Ribbon UI or perhaps the standard toolbar as enlarging it may be a difficult way. Sure, Office client version has the Touch Mode to expand the spacing that makes things suitable for the touch screen devices but unfortunately, certain of those tablet devices are making the buttons look too small. I don't know what the latest version of Office mobile looks like on Windows Phone but I assume that the buttons can't be this small.
Interface-wise, there are newer features for Office Online apps. There will be features that will make those apps catch up with the client counterparts and the Metro counterparts. While OneNote itself is free across multi-platforms, the others are not.

From Skydrive to OneDrive

Due to some branding infringement or whatever, they had decided to rename Skydrive to Onedrive. We don't know the new features for Onedrive at this moment but it seems that even Office 365 will have some improvements for their web apps known as Office Online. But having the name, Onedrive, is likely to make things worse. There are already cloud services with the word, one, such as Ubuntu One, One.com, etc. Calling that Micro-drive is not likely to make sense either like making the Microsoft cloud storage for users the tinyest looking storage of all containing 25GB-500GB. Like come on, this ain't the SSD or the SD-card inside the servers.
One.com already has their cloud drive service and it has been active for three years but I assume that the Skydrive service existed even ealier than One.com's cloud service. I don't know when did Dropbox first exist by the way but it may seem that Dropbox itself was a superior one than Skydrive back then before there was a desktop client for Skydrive two years ago.
