eXtern OS controversy

Obviously, Windows 10 and Ubuntu with Unity have the privacy-violating features with certain of them being able to be turned off but this Linux-based eXtern OS which is the like the one-person-hobby OS can turn you off the most. This OS has been in development for years and my assumption is that it has been developed by one person by the name of Anesu Chiodze. The positive impression when visiting the official website is that the author is the university student with the degree of Computer Science & Engineering. He's passionate of technology and software that I can respect that.
Unfortunately, the setup wizard doesn't seem to have workarounds in some pages and is missing international news support. Some of the stuffs from Microsoft like Cortana for instance are so much western to me. While Cortana has international support, its support list is incomplete and especially for various English accents. Another unfortunate thing is that there's no way you can install this OS onto the computer's hard disk and there's no way you can deep customize with package uninstallation/installation like you can in other Linux OSes. This kind of prototype stage SHOULD BE WELL SUITED IN A TEST ENVIRONMENT/BEDROOM! AND WHAT'S THE POINT OF TESTING THIS OS IF THERE'S NO WAY TO TURN OFF THE DATA-COLLECTING FEATURES!
*Sigh* If this OS gets finalized and STILL VIOLATES the privacy no way to turn that crap off, there will be more lawsuits delivered to the authors of it way quicker than the ones delivered to Microsoft. Right now, the OS is still in prototype stage and the project can be supported through Patreon. To open doors of support through Patreon for your project that does bad shit like privacy violation is giving people the opportunity to file lawsuits against you. Patreon cannot be held responsible when things happen.
At least in Windows 10 and Ubuntu with Unity during their beta stages, you could actually turn off things that were collecting your data and storing them to the servers but for eXtern OS, THIS IS MUCH WORSE and that's not how you show the prototype product to the net. You think people are going to get eXtern OS by the time it's finalized after knowing this controversy?
Oh, there's Beta 2 coming in sometime this year and I don't know if there will be opportunity to turn off the data collection features as well as install the OS. Also, the AI for the OS is kind of like Cortana or something but the way it is named in short form is like "Ouch" in some foreign language. I can imagine that the sole author must have watched too much cartoons to come up with such a name of the OS' AI. This is like the virtual assistant going all mean but nice on you in which you are taken for a fool both verbally and physically as well as being caring for you on its inside. Imagine Cortana or Siri doing this to you after asking her something, she'll be like, "Here's the current weather report, moron", or maybe like, "I've determined the direction and time taken for you so get out and do something good there, fool!" Okay, that just sounds like something in a western drama but I don't know if there's a drama or movie where a character is like that. Sure, he/she may go superior on you at first, but if your competence and attitude are decent enough, you deserve some trust. Can some superiors give the OS authors a chance if that's the case? Or maybe, the OS is like making you feel masochistic or some kind like you allow its AI/digital assistant to tell you off even more verbally.
You know what you can do with the eXtern OS install? It's with the use of Ubuntu Customization Kit or similar for deployment of a custom installation of Ubuntu-based OS.
You can be a business insider for Windows 10 but until the authors have done right thing next time with the next beta of eXtern OS, you are refrained from beta-testing it in the enterprise test-environment and the only place you can beta-test it is your home.

Office 17 for Windows 10 only

I don't know if Microsoft is finally doing the right thing when it comes to the privacy stuff on Windows 10 this time but it seems that they have made an announcement to the upcoming successor of Office 2016 that will be Windows 10 exclusive. It's quite a bad luck for Windows 7 and 8.1 users but they already have experienced backported UIs from probably Windows 8 and 10 like the third-party software using the new UI as well as the new notification in the style of Windows 8/10.
Office 17 will have the standard apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Skype for Business. I don't know if the non-business edition of this may have the inclusion of standard edition of Skype which is supposed to be free to get.
Installation-wise, the only way generally will be through Click-To-Run technology similar to the previous versions of Office although the MSI-based installer will be on Office server products. The installation is ONLINE only so you're out of luck if you're trying to install it without the internet connection. If that's the case, how do technicians install this in the enterprise environment?
The worse thing is that in the future, Microsoft will move on to Office 365 and Office in the cloud entirely after 7 years. Until now, the UWP versions of Office still have yet to be on par with the desktop app version but the problem is that certain features don't seem to be quite touch-friendly so two separate versions are already the better bet currently.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

So my initial impression when discovering Dragon Ball FighterZ is that it is a hybird between Guilty Gear Xrd and Marvel vs Capcom 2. It's a 3-3 fighter in the same way as Marvel vs Capcom series and the 3D graphical style is like Guilty Gear Xrd but superseding. It has some elements similar to other famous Arc System Works fighting games and especially that the Super and Instant Kill moves take the 3D animated scenes to the next level. Even the match's intro and outro are superseding at best like the fighters clash in 3D animated scene while the announcer is saying out the match quotes for instance. In Guilty Gear Xrd starting with Revelator, when the round is being announced by the announcer, the camera moves down from top to bottom before the round starts.
For Story Mode, it is sort of like Guilty Gear Xrd's Story Mode where everything is 3D animated but even better as Guilty Gear Xrd's Story Mode has some minor flaws like the separate windows of characters talking to each other like it's a different and unusual way to advance the visual novel gaming to the next level. It's kind of like two different screens of characters in different scenes talking on the phone or something. Also, there will be battles in the Story Mode in Dragon Ball FighterZ although the flaw is that you'll end up fighting clones or some sort. For Street Fighter V and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, there are battles where you end up fighting enemy guards, enemy soldiers or even brainwashed dolls for SFV in addition to the standard battles. Why put in enemy soldiers or guards as fighting game opponents? A scene of characters tackling those enemies should be enough or perhaps, a modern 2D beat-em-up game where the camera switches to 3D mode for conversation and 2D mode for gameplay.
Graphics-wise, the game uses Unreal Engine 4 and it has superseded Guilty Gear Xrd in various ways. If there were problems in 3D character models for Guilty Gear Xrd, then the workaround the developers came up with was the swapping of parts of the models or something. Another challenge is that the characters may end up clipping through each other when they get too close during the fight. Through similar graphical techniques, the cell-shaded graphics match the modern Dragon Ball cartoon shows quite well although I might have seen portions of the classic Dragon Ball cartoons back then in my childhood. One thing I can recall is the scene where Goku's body was swapped by some opponent. Another thing I can recall is the Ginyu Force whose introduction is ridiculous.
It's a massive improvement over the previous Dragon Ball games developed by Arc System Works on 3DS. This one's a big effort from them and as of this writing, it seems that they need more time on creating assets for other characters for Blazblue Cross Tag Battle which is half-finished by the time of its release in terms of character roster. Not to mention that the game's release on PS4, Xbox One and Steam with Unreal Engine 4 has proven the amount of graphical potential done to it while retaining the similar techniques as Guilty Gear Xrd. Why can't Blazblue Cross Tag Battle go next-gen like it's beyond me? I mean the assets are one-era behind for Blazblue Cross Tag Battle although I don't know if the sprites will have much higher resolution or some kind.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is a must buy for fans of fighting games and Dragon Ball franchise. It may have finished off Marvel vs Capcom Infinite through its badass concepts and is said to be one of the best modern Dragon Ball fighting games for years to come.
