Codemoji by Mozilla

Codemoji is the educational game by Mozilla that teaches people about encryption. You just type in the message and encode it using the emoji cypher to send it to your friends in an encrypted form. The receiver of the encrypted message will have to use the same emoji cypher to decrypt it.
Note that this is not a serious attempt to bring secure messaging that way. As this is an educational material by Mozilla as part of the privacy advocating campaign, it may be interesting to educate users about cyphers and basic encryption concept. Sure, learning cyber-security may be a challenge for technical people but there are four mini-episodes about encryption as released by Mozilla to learn why encryption is important in general.
You're already better off using the sophisticated security tools than Codemoji according to Mozilla. What they also have said is that they have also mentioned the recent cyber-security situations regarding the encryption like the encryption is being threatened around the globe which may be true because the encryption power is too strong that cyber-criminals for instance, can make use of it to get away with it undetected. There must be some equality but you may have concerns if one organization or agency is lacking any trust for privacy advocates or not.
There might be other cyber-security news on Neowin like tech companies offer secure messaging will be fined in Russia if the anti-encryption bill there goes in effect or not for instance but there isn't anything special or much to say about those news.

EU Slowdown campaign by Fight For The Future

Many websites in Europe were fighting for real Net Neutrality just like the real Net Neutrality rules in the US went in effect after long times of fighting for freedom. However, it doesn't mean a complete relaxation time as the never-ending challenge between Team Internet and Team ISPs is still on-going. There might be court cases as filed by those ISPs in the US about Net Neutrality but in the end, it appeared that those ISPs lost the battle.
Filing a lawsuit against the ISP you're subscribed to over slow internet bandwidth may cost lots of money and time and it's more useless trying to upgrade the broadband routers for the sake of better speed. Perhaps, this is where Net Neutrality comes in handy as equal technical fairness. I don't know if a lawsuit from a customer will force the ISP to end bandwidth throttling or not because after sometime, they may probably think that that force may be useless to them and they may continue their evil plans to throttling down the bandwidth again. There's no way to tell anymore if this is bullshit or not but even with real Net Neutrality rules, the fight for freedom isn't over yet.
The campaign as organized by Fight For The Future is still on-going until sometime next month. Thankfully, people around the globe are able to save the internet in Europe unlike the US where only locals can take action to save the same internet by having real Net Neutrality.
As always, I have been subscribed to Fight For The Future for future situation to keep a look out for ever since estimated four years ago.

ITunes Gift Card obtained for ITunes music

Having bought the ITunes gift card again, I should be able to make more purchases from the ITunes store but instead of downloading those paid apps, I downloaded some tracks from Groove Coaster 3 OST or Groove Coaster OST Boost. It may be handy for planning to rearrange/remix them when possible as well as to find out on what Groove Coaster 2 & 3 System BGMs are like completely.

Sound Voltex gameplay report - June 18 (Controversial Trip)

While the local tournament held by Virtualand/Star Factory of Sound Voltex was taking place in the arcades at Bugis, things were still normal elsewhere. Indeed, the local tournaments of those games are kind of like KAC or something but on a smaller scale and my skill level isn't at the highest to be frank. Meanwhile at the arcades at Century Square which I went to again which has never been the main intention or main plan whatsoever to go there, it appeared that I was losing patience over the same inexcusable bullshit I blogged about three months ago. It's a repeat of what happened three months ago and I don't know when will the renovation in my neighbor's home be complete. Simply going there because of that drilling noise taking place in my neighbor's home isn't the main intention and that is inexcusable. I don't get it on why those idiots at my home continue to be this idiotic and that had affected my mood on that day. It was an inexcusable delay of my Disc Jockey ambition preparation.

Sound Voltex Gameplay Report - June 15 (Controversial Trip)

So, I managed to unlock Lachryma<<Re:Queen'M>> in Advanced difficulty after having decent grades in the prerequisite songs in the same difficulty. I don't know why I can't unlock Everlasting Message in Advanced despite having decent grades in its prerequisite songs like AA or A for instance. Maybe I need to get AA or something although the Dempa genre can go screw itself as it continues to be weird and turns me off. Like WHO IN THE HELL plays that weird-ass genre in the nightclub or something?

Also, I have a news here that reflects my new YouTube channel's description with its own policy, delusional relationships with whatever celebrity, pop idol or whoever quite famous whether that person is fictional or not are NOT ALLOWED in my accounts! If I catch someone, some group or some fan-page on my social media accounts with that behavior, a simple consequence is account blockage. It's like my taste in cartoon-ish stuffs isn't decent or the same anymore compared to the past which I find them fine. You could have gone through the past animated franchises you know of and like and trying to find the ones of the present time that are as decent as the ones of the past is a challenging thing. So expecting decent music in rhythm games nowadays like the EDM, House, Trance, Dubstep, Hardcore and D&B music should be what we should be interested in the first place in both the present and future times.

Groove Coaster Gameplay Report - June 15 (Important Update)

June 17 Update: I thought the renovation stuff for my neighbor's home was over in the middle of this month but it's not. And without the Renovation Notice paper this month, there's no way we can know if that shit is completed or not. It is noisy and distracting like hell but consider this a stand-alone complaint of mine and mixing it with other topics is already a no-no in the first place ever since three months ago.

That drilling noise as I mentioned three months ago is kind of over for the rest of this month or maybe a while. For whatever reason, they asked for another renovation stuff this month that the noise occurred again. But of course, it wasn't an excuse as a way of going out to the arcades at Century Square again just like ever since three months ago. It was actually due to some reunion reason that I went to Century Square as well as Tampines Mall for lunch and dinner.
After the lunch and before the dinner, it was when I went to the arcades again. I went to Event Mode in Groove Coaster for the first time only to get blown away online by other players. Seriously, they must be damn good at the rhythm game genre in which they are able to get No-Misses and Full Chains on many songs. It doesn't matter whether it's Multiplayer Mode or Event Mode, they are already tons of times better than me as I already know it all along. I might be doing fine to be frank but they can do much better if you ask. Also, with skill improvement for Groove Coaster, I don't know what's my limit right now. The crossover event is still on-going until June 19 and consists of songs from various Shmup games and the most famous one from that event is Hibachi theme from Dodonpachi Resurrection. It is famous for being extremely hard TLB in Dodonpachi Resurrection but its theme song can't be the hardest in Groove Coaster if I can believe it. I had seen gameplay videos of this before going to the arcades to attempt it only to find that I had a pain on my right shoulder from button-tapping to the beat like that. Also, I had trouble with some of the patterns in that track and it was a close call that I managed to clear it in Hard difficulty. However, there won't be any reason to show that result of mine from the game's official Mypage as the song is so hard enough that I had made tons of mistakes and showing you that will get me criticized like I already was on YouTube for certain gameplay videos. You will need a Nesica account along with the account for Groove Coaster arcade registered to your Nesica card to gain access to your Mypage where you can see your personal results and do other exclusive stuffs like unlocking songs with GC points for Groove Coaster 3. It will be extremely grindy to get enough GC points to buy specific songs I want. Also, the staff roll song for Groove Coaster 3, Link Link Fever, is somewhat accessible in Event Mode but you still have to unlock it for Standard Play by adding friends in your Mypage.

Crossbeats Rev

The producer, Naoki Maeda, who formerly worked at Konami for various songs in Bemani franchise mostly the songs from DDR, is nowadays working at Capcom on a rhythm game as a continued dedication of his music career along with other music producers who also formerly worked for various Bemani games as well. Jun on the other hand whose music style is something people like us can recognize has made some songs for Crossbeats for IOS and arcade that matches the style of his previous songs used for Bemani games so expect some familiarity. It's a strange move for Naoki Maeda to work at Capcom in my opinion as Capcom already had some negative reputations for on-disc DLCs for various games as well as the way they released Street Fighter V in such a stupid way over the lack of important core game modes. Perhaps, he could have started his own indie company way before Hideo Kojima did and then made Crossbeats from there.
Using the Aime card to save progress for the arcade version, you can probably guess that the game is running on the Sega arcade hardware but when I looked up at Japanese Wikipedia about Sega Nu, it appears that Crossbeats Rev. is running on Sega Nu 1.1 which has some changes to the system specs. There's also Sega Nu SX which I have no interests in those games running on it. Another interesting thing is that Chunithm by the makers of Maimai is running on the same hardware as well but don't expect the hardware to be that great when compared to Taito Type X3 which uses Core i5 processor by default although the hardware components can be upgraded for certain games.

PC Show 2016 at Singapore Expo

From this point onwards, there isn't so much special about to say about the computers, tablets, smartphones and even the set-top box. Maybe it's because I already have the laptop computers along with Android tablets and set-top box. Some of the booths kind of brought me some memories like the Creative Labs booth, the Klipsch booth which I already had the earpiece the last time as well as the Xiaomi Set-Top Box which has the familiar UI although I don't know if the device there was newer than the one I have at home. Gaming desktop computers might be interesting to look at and talk about although gaming computers are extremely expensive as ever that you may need to be financially hardcore to buy such a computer with hardcore computer components.
There might be newer technologies which I took a look at like the Intel RealSense which was Intel's Kinect-like accessory for RealSense powered computers although I didn't bother to try out the VR but this time, it doesn't look like there's anything specially new whatsoever.
The last thing to talk about was the fact that when I went in to the venue, something from MyRepublic PS4 booth caught me the attention that easily. The console was running Street Fighter V and I eventually took turn to play it before leaving the venue. Unfortunately, as I don't have the Playstation 4, I didn't know how to pause the game so that somebody could take over. I pressed the Share button and then returned to the game, and the Pause Menu showed up as pressing Options during the gameplay wouldn't pause the game whatsoever. I wonder if somebody customized the controls or maybe there must be a proper way to pause the game on PS4 or Xbox One. Also, I cleared Survival Mode of Street Fighter V as Ryu but that was in Easy Mode. So far, it took me a short time or few stages to get used to the controls with the Playstation 4 controller.
The reason for having the Playstation 4 booth was the fact that there would be a special subscription offer from MyRepublic. You can have either the PS4 as part of the special gaming offer or the gaming computer as a special choice. It was a good move from MyRepublic to involve the Playstation 4 as part of the special gaming offer if you buy that special subscription.
