Avermedia EZRecorder obtained

Hmm, perhaps I could have used a video capture hardware to video capture Android and computer games but it may seem that video capturing computer games through the hardware itself doesn't work or something. However, like other video capture devices used for capturing console games, Avermedia EZRecorder as an affordable video capture device for me takes a video or screenshot of whatever game you have played. But as affordable as this is, it allows for up to 30FPS for videos and that may seem to be a little bit unfortunate if you want 60FPS gameplay videos. There really isn't much else to say about video capture devices like this but I bought it from Funan Digitalife Mall which is more or less a professional and superior shopping complex compared to Sim Lim Square which is notorious for the on-going cheating cases. I can guarantee that the one I bought should be able to work 100% easily but when it comes to IT roadshows at Singapore Expo or Suntec Convention Center, you should be aware that certain booths may originate from Sim Lim Square. But if they also sell the same things at Funan Digitalife Mall besides Sim Lim Square, going to Funan Digitalife Mall is a safer bet.
Other discoveries at Funan Digitalife Mall included the iRig Mix which I'll buy in the future if I can as well as the shop that sells NAS devices which are unspeakably expensive. One interesting thing was that QNAP decided to bring NAS to the next level by offering virtualization and other roles besides the file server role for their NAS devices. You may be right that I thought that the networking performance can be sluggish for home use when it comes to virtualization on the NAS as the host but it turns out that you can use QNAP NAS devices locally by hooking them up to the TV or monitor for better performance. How do you use them locally with keyboard and mouse? I have no clue. Also, the shopkeepers mentioned to me that I should use 10Gbps of network connection for network use of QNAP NAS devices if I wanted better networking performance for virtualization but other than that, the NAS devices are normally for storing your stuffs through network connection.

Apple concerned over Investigatory Powers Bill

Braovs to Facebook and other US tech companies who supported the controversial bill that recently passed in the US which finally extended the illegal cyber spying stuff they thought that there would really be true security but that was not the case for tech companies like Apple, Microsoft, etc. that kept on opposing it every since the past times and now, it looks like the similar bill that will do the same thing by allowing access to people's metadata or whatever in the UK. Pretty much Apple has been concerned about how illegal cyber spying is. Privacy advocates had prepared sufficient efforts to combat bills that contain illegal actions and purposes done to the cyber-security but what about te****ism then? Do we despise ter***ism besides privacy violation? Sure, we despise ter***ism a little bit even more than privacy violation.
The new legislation is aimed at providing more transparency and accountability for the authorities but this is where many tech companies like Apple may get concerned of. Will they provide the same cyber-security level for the citizens without the need for tech companies to provide their own? Such a controversial bill in the US like I mentioned in the previous paragraph is already clashing with the bill that provides real cyber security and this has been getting out of hand when conflicting things pass like that with no real workarounds. It was kind of inexcusable not to realize the real flaws of a bill like that by signing stuffs without even realizing the mistake and letting it pass unnoticed. I can assume that they had already checked for mistakes or something before beginning a voting section to determine if the bill will be approved or rejected. Last time, the real Net Neutrality was passed with real respectful efforts of the privacy advocates and tech companies in the US like everything was checked before approval but it seemed that the whining US ISPs were unhappy about it that the same battle for the real Net Neutrality restarted again.
And if you think that cyber spying thing is not that something to worry about or important to you that you dare to tell us to stop worrying or something, the bigger shame will come to you should some cyber-criminal does that same spying shit to you as if your private information is known by that criminal regardless of the cyber-security tools you have. But if you know that cyber-spying is illegal along and you have been compromised by some cyber-criminal, that cyber-criminal will be unforgivable.

Phantom Squad the rival of Lizard Squad

I'm really SICK AND TIRED of this cyber-stupidity that has been going on online! Last time, there was a tool run by those idiots that would allow anyone to perform the security breach of whatever website for them and in fact, some of the group members behind the security breaches of Playstation Network and Xbox Live were arrested for that and news about this was everywhere!
And if that's not big and stupid enough, how about the rival group that does the same bullshit in a foolish way? Talk about some idiotic group that goes against the cyber-reality like there's no such thing as cyber-security when there's already cyber-security embedded in computer technology today. It's just that the cyber-security is not bundled yet and you have to enable it in various software yourself.

Hideo Kojima's Konami-era summary

Bravos to Konami nowadays, it seems that mobile gaming has fried the game developers' minds and made many people even MORE NEGLECTED THAN BEFORE IN EVERYTHING ever since last year or something probably due to the fact that the power of referenceless plagiarism has been running amok starting last year! In fact, this is the RIGHT TIME TO TALK TRASH ABOUT KONAMI FOR WHATEVER MAJOR DAMAGE THEY HAVE DONE! It's like they have lost the power of originality starting last year or something and especially for the fact that they had messed with the famous man behind the Metal Gear franchise! In fact, there were already tons of games released on IOS and Android based on various Konami franchises we know of. Funny thing is, I already played one of those Konami mobile games on my Android device.
The final offense done to Hideo Kojima was that he was barred from receiving the awards for his best work on MGS V The Phantom Pain and that the award was received by some voice actor involved in that game on his behalf. The worse thing is that today's Metal Gear games have removed the famous credit on the front box and all the game descriptions have excluded the mentioning of his full name. Another worse thing is the mobile gaming elements in both console and arcade games today. I'm not joking about arcade games having those elements like drawing out those Appeal Cards for no reasons other than to draw everything and it was inexcusable to announce that Konami is going mobile while leaving other gaming platforms the complete secret.
You know what should be surprising? There are of course songs from the Metal Gear franchise in certain Bemani games but that was the past collaboration in between those two franchises. Also, there are other Konami games Hideo Kojima was involved in the game development as well and especially that he worked on the game engine called the Fox Engine which is used in recent Metal Gear games as well as other Konami games that are not Metal Gear games.
What about the other popular franchises? We don't even know if Konami will continue to work on them for consoles and even Steam in addition to working on the games that are for the arcades. There's also the E-Amusement Cloud service which is the cloud gaming platform and it can be risky to keep on playing those games for that service or something as they use either Pay-To-Play or Monthly Subscription.
Another controversy is that Konami took down videos that mentioned Hideo Kojima and especially for the rant and interview videos that mentioned him. They can pretty much deny whatever damage they have done to their reputation and especially for the fact that they had made life miserable for the employees or something. As if the Konami-era Kojima Productions team was completely isolated from the other teams at the company, they were to work on the Metal Gear games locally and that wide-area communication was disallowed or something. Perhaps this was all done as a way to censor the hell out of Hideo Kojima or some sort.
This month, Hideo Kojima had finally gotten out of Konami and now he's decided to open a new game development business as an independent studio. He may have agreed with Sony to work on a new game for the Playstation 4 in the future as part of the new Kojima Productions studio. Maybe his core team members should migrate to the new Kojima Productions studio when possible like working on a new game like friends or something in gaming heaven. But by working elsewhere, the new experimental games he worked for Konami will be cancelled like the new Silent Hills game or something. I don't know if he can work on a new game that is kind of like the spiritual successor to the Metal Gear franchise just like the one working on the spiritual successor to the Castlevania franchise. What if the properties still belong to Konami?
Perhaps next year, you can say out to the fans of Metal Gear and Bemani franchises that you will absolutely not forgive Konami for the damages they have done to make the fans proud. Of course, don't say it directly to Konami via some tweets or during the 5th Konami Arcade Championship which will start next month. I guess that if you're a KAC finalist and you say that you won't absolutely forgive Konami to your supporters or something, the company may bar you from taking part in future KACs. It makes various external artists like PHQUASE forgivable for real. Hell, even Naoki Maeda had left Konami two years ago to make new music game at Capcom and some of the songs in that game sound quite similar to the ones you find in Bemani games due to similar composers. Who else will leave Konami to work elsewhere in the future then?

Adblock Plus for Microsoft Edge

At least Microsoft Edge seems to be spared due to various improvements over Internet Explorer and over time with newer builds of Windows 10 but compared to third-party browsers as we use it today, it is still using the most anticipated feature, the extensions. However, even with extension feature available in Microsoft Edge, chances are, not all common extensions are available for it and trying to apply extensions that are for Google Chrome to Microsoft Edge may seem to be a pointless one for me or something.
Adblock Plus will be available for Microsoft Edge but I think that you're already better off with uBlock or uBlock Origin as Adblock Plus takes up so much hardware resources compared to uBlock series addons. Also, there are security plugins that secure every web browser at the system level regardless of whichever web browser you're using. I never knew about this until there were comments about that on that Neowin article about Adblock Plus for Microsoft Edge. It may seem to be effective at the system level but I don't know how will that work for web browsers that are the Modern apps. Also, the bigger problem takes place in Windows 10 Mobile. Is there an ad-blocking app that blocks adwares at the system level for that OS like Adblock Plus does for Android?

Return of Repeat Offender Group, Lizard Squad

Firstly, there was a false article stating that the attackers might have communicated through the Playstation 4 console to plan out something illegal which wasn't completely true as we already know that they made use of Telegram program for that. Unfortunately, that article was spread to other blog sites, news sites and other sites that contained the same false information and in fact, it even added fuel to the fire in the on-going gaming platform war after knowing that false information without knowing the true information which later corrected the mistake in that article. So, such troll comments about this are everywhere on the net including the recent article about Lizard Squad's security breach of Playstation Network service again as seen in Neowin. It's basically another fuel added to the same fire but in a stupid way.
WHAT WERE THOSE IDIOTS DOING ON THE NET AND WHY DID THEY BREACH THE SAME GAMING SERVICES THIS YEAR? We really CAN'T STAND THAT GROUP'S ON-GOING OFFENSIVE STUPIDITY! And if you support that group over that article stated above, then you may be one of the COMPLETE EPIC FAILURES in the gaming world! It's kind of like someone would say to you things like, "That/this system is used by attackers", "You use that stupid system, you're more or less an attacker", "They're full of shit in marketing that system", "They surely are helping those plan the operation with that stupid system", or something like that BUT KNOCK THOSE INAPPROPRIATE NONSENSES OFF! We're adults after all and we don't say those kind of childish crap like those examples above. When you're an adult, you may have the ability to seek some help and solution for whatever stuff you're doing and especially that you'll be using many of the competitive branded products regardless of on-going competition.
And in fact, such a repeated idiotic cyber-attack already landed some idiot behind it in trouble. It's not that the group will organize the perfect hacking lesson online or some sort because it still sounds completely stupid in the first place and nobody will contribute to or anticipate it. Okay, there might be a tool of attraction we had seen last year where there might be external contributors welcome to penetrate some shit for fun or something but it might seem to be part of their stupidity. Also, I've already seen tons of cyber-security news about some corporation's comprising of consumers' information for the sake of advertising through their products/services through the spyware kind of the malware. I can guess what a motive is and it's already pointless saying that people like me don't know how to migrate to this kind of new technology that is as vulnerable as I know it.

Focus by Mozilla

As a solution suggests, it's a third-party ad-blocker from Mozilla for IOS. Unfortunately, compared to third-party browsers like Firefox, it is supported on Safari on IOS. Maybe it is due to some limitations on the IOS that Mozilla is not able to implement the same addon to Firefox on IOS and Apple doesn't support ad-blocking features on third-party web browsers. It does the same thing as private browsing on the desktop version of Firefox does with the same blocklist as Disconnect. Besides Adblock Plus on Safari on IOS, this is another security opportunity for your IOS device running IOS 8 and above.

Tor to be banned in France by French security forces

While having better security is an important thing for the present time against cyber-attacks, you may have to make sure that the system has stable reliability, performance and functionality and this has been the case with Tor technology which uses the VPN from some unknown source that contains a slower bandwidth speed for safe browsing undetected but do you want to browse the net with such an unreliable speed? Even worse is that you can't even check the favorite sites you check in regularly probably due to the Tor browser being overprotective and yet there are baddies still using it undetected despite these problems. It doesn't matter how much improvement the Tor technology is going to have with minor updates, it is still posing a serious challenge in getting those baddies tracked.
There were claims that there were proposals of getting Tor banned in France by French security forces probably due to the serious attacks that took place in Paris last month but the thing is, how to make that proposal a technical thing like calling French ISPs to ban Tor technology technically on every platform including its alternative? There were also claims that those destructive te*******s made use of Tor technology but we don't know if this is true or not. If there are official evidences that Tor technology was used by those attackers, it can ruin the reputation of the company behind the technology in the first place.
What else is surprising is that according to some security expert, Telegram was notorious for false advertising and weak security. Talk about the liar with the biggest foul mouth and brain that stink the MOST! It did some data collection stuff that even Whatsapp users like us became victims of that and trying to find a better alternative to Telegram is a bigger challenge. As if the continuous usage of Telegram by the attackers made Telegram company know about it, the corporation took technical actions against them by taking down their Telegram accounts for illegal actions probably due to the fact above the company was able to track those accounts down. Maybe the encryption was not there at all or something. That was some news you could see in Engadget, Softpedia, etc. and it may be why we still stick on to using Whatsapp and LINE if that's the case as the good people. There are already tons of services and devices with better security you can use but you should be warned but you SHOULD NOT be using them for anything illegal.
I already ranted on the Tor Messenger thing like who the hell wants to use it once it's reached the final stage and you could have gone for better security technology. It's not okay. It defeats the networking performance and reliability, and the functionality of the websites. Even the public Wi-Fi will be inaccessible in affected areas in a state of emergency but there's another problem that goes against the proposal. What if the attackers use the mobile broadband or mobile network instead of public Wi-Fi for that?
It's either a rejection for wrong and incomplete solution or approval for complete and right solution but who knows if one new proposal can be approved like that based on the real situations with sufficient evidence on why do you come up with it.

Sound Voltex III 2nd Season First Play

For whatever reason, the story doesn't end here after various episodes that the second season of Sound Voltex III had recently arrived this month with additional episodes and songs. The second season update has different system BGM, different backgrounds, different title screen and the new intro. Of course, since this was the first play of 2nd season, I eventually knew on what the music was like throughout the entire game as if I was waiting for something. No, I wasn't waiting whatsoever although the time already ticked down to some seconds left by the time I tried to hear the system BGM for a long time.
There may be updates for other rhythm games as well but the main topic will be Sound Voltex topic and the in-game events are sort of tedious and grindy to clear on time. Perhaps, I can try to attempt as many Sound Voltex III songs as I can and trying to unlock those KAC songs has been a tedious thing. Also, the song list in the Track Input section is unspeakably long although there are additional filters this time with 2nd season update such as the Mission related songs, songs attempted by rivals and of course, Favorite songs. I may be sure that Beatmania IIDX today already has the ability to toggle Favorite on for whichever songs you like and it should be the same for SDVX III with this update.
Meanwhile, the 5th KAC had already begun but I still have yet to see what the KAC courses are like for it and needless to say, Level 14 onwards is seriously difficult and so far I cleared some of the Level 14 songs. So am I ready to attempt those songs? No, if there are already Level 15 songs in those courses from Skill Analyzer, I may be out of luck.
There may be officials videos of 5th KAC from Konami's official YouTube account but you are warned that any comments about Konami games not part of KAC such as MGS games for example on those YouTube videos will make you look like a spammer. Don't even try to be stupid enough to think that we are Konami defenders or something like that. We don't know what will happen to Benami and other arcade games next year by the time Windows XP Embedded goes out of support and the controversial music game, Museca comes in the arcades like this month or something. I might have seen the 4th KAC videos of Sound Voltex and surprisingly, Everlasting Message in Gravity difficulty was seriously difficult that nobody can pretty much forgive the one who came out with such a tricky notechart. You can surely dis-forgive him but freakouts at the arcades are not allowed as any freakout from you will get you escorted out of the arcade premises.

Let's Encrypt public beta by EFF

Let's Encrypt by EFF is the web certificate for ensuring that your website stays secure in HTTPS mode. The aim for the website owners is about making things easier in enabling HTTPS support for the website. If you do have the Unix/Linux based OS, you should be able to install this prototype certificate for your website running on the server. Hell, you can also try using this on your Raspberry Pi device as it is running the embedded Unix/Linux based OS as well. Maybe I should be able to find and buy a Raspberry Pi if I can but if that's not found from the retail store, I guess that buying stuffs like that is not an easy thing.

Official PS4 Remote Play for PC and Mac

While the person behind the unofficial PS4 Remote Play app for PC is still in development, it seems that Sony is doing the same thing for their own official version. Who knows if the unofficial one will be discontinued in favor of the official one but it's better to keep using the official one as there may be risks of undesired results for using the unofficial one. While we might have seen the unofficial Remote Play in action, there isn't anything else to say about the official one in details although the official Remote Play will be coming in the future via firmware update.
