TRDR Pocket's release & Soulja Boy's recent stunt

Recently, there was a stunt in which Soulja Boy claimed to be a CEO of Atari when that wasn't the case. Some evidence included the fact that he invested in cryptocurrency stuff and the Atari of the present isn't the same as the Atari of the past in which the current Atari is involved in casino, hotel, cryptocurrency and even NFT stuff so the gaming part is like less interesting than before for us to take a look at. The only legacy about Atari of the present is the name and the other games tweeted about by them like Roller Coaster Tycoon series for instance had the past publishers. I don't know if he didn't mean to make a claim like that or not but then, there's another problem that angered people including us, the regards to one of the content creator's review of TRDR Pocket.

It seems that Rerez had ordered the TRDR Pocket recently online but for the sake of privacy, I won't link his tweet about it here. What I can do is anticipate his review but there's no way to know if his copy will arrive or not at first.

About the TRDR Pocket the female content creator reviewed, it seems like there are tons of flaws to begin with:

  1. The inclusion of touchscreen isn't a good way over the design of the console as it may seem weird in some areas like using touch controls for gaming or typing on on-screen keyboard. At least, the Switch tablet design with touchscreen is as good as a real tablet device. Even the DS and 3DS have better design than the TRDR Pocket when it comes to on-screen keyboard that you can input with the stylus. So, the flaw is about design conflict.
  2. The inclusion of 4G on a portable console like TRDR Pocket: Sure, it's Android based but obviously, game console emulators are what fit the console the most and if the mobile game doesn't have traditional controller support, you're out of luck. Having 4G/5G on portable game consoles like PS Vita is sort of stupid enough and it should be stupid on TRDR Pocket as well since it's shaped like a portable game console and mobile gamers are already better off with playing mobile games that require internet connection on their smartphone/tablet.
  3. Vertical screen oriented games are problematic on this device that you're better off playing them on your smartphone/tablet. The Switch console is already a better bet when it comes to vertically-oriented games that you can turn the tablet to vertical mode and still attach the Joy-Cons or play it with other controllers. Sure, it's different than playing vertically-oriented games on mobile as not all vertically-oriented games on mobile support controllers. But in the case of TRDR Pocket, the touchscreen as a workaround is what feeds Soulja Boy some stupidity.
  4. The lack of bumper/trigger buttons on TRDR Pocket makes you want to use the touchscreen feature as the workaround which seems stupid when it comes to games that make use of more than the 6 standard buttons the console has. The proper workaround will be to use two of the buttons as bumper/trigger buttons but what if there are games that use BOTH bumper and trigger buttons besides the four standard buttons? It's an obvious problem when it comes to playing such  games on PS1/PS2/GC/DC emulators. The same goes for other AAA-like games on mobile.
  5. Price: It's an audacity to overcharge people additional money for an Android-based game console like TRDR Pocket. You could have bought the Switch, Switch Lite or Xbox Series S with $300+ instead of the mediocrity that is TRDR Pocket.

It's one big stupidity after another from Soulja Boy and even his defensive idiots continued to add more fuel of stupidity by defending him. I guess that he continues to do stupid shit like this to attract more negative attention ever since a few years ago so it looks like no lessons have been learnt whatsoever. As this time of writing, he had already changed his Twitter bio like he corrected his mistake but his reputation remains questionable to this day. Lastly, the TRDR Pocket console isn't that great to begin with and I won't be stupid enough to buy it after having seen that content creator's review.

Beatmania IIDX 29 Cast Hour Controversial Feature - Paid Loot Box Feature for Random Patterns

Indeed, I wrote the blog articles about the new features of Beatmania IIDX such as the Lightning Model and the controversial video-capture saving feature in Beatmania IIDX Bistrover which is present in Lightning Model cabinets only. The upcoming sequel comes with another minor controversy, a paid lootbox feature for Random patterns. It's controversial but not as controversial as the paid lootbox for character card feature in Sega's Ongeki.

At least, in Sega's Ongeki, you're going to need character cards or something as part of the gameplay in which you'll move the characters left and right and dodging projectiles coming at them in addition to the notes. It's basically a rhythm game with additional gameplay features but it comes with its own controversy I already mentioned such as a paid lootbox feature for character cards. Why the need for physical character cards for a rhythm game in the arcades?

At the current time, the upcoming sequel to Beatmania IIDX 28 already had a location test last week and it's theme this time is video livestreaming. Overall, that's like two minor controversial features present in Beatmania IIDX 29 when it comes out in the arcades sometime this year. So about the paid lootbox for Random patterns, it is exclusive to Lightning Model cabinets just like the Pay-To-Screen-Capture feature from Beatmania IIDX 28.

Windows 11 reveal event from June

About two months ago, the new successor to Windows 10 was revealed by Microsoft with new features although it has the UI taken from the cancelled Windows 10X. There were ups and downs for that event when I tuned in to it online on Twitter and I made a couple of tweets about it.

  • Amazon App Store: Currently, there's the Your Phone app on Windows 10 which supports Samsung-branded Android devices for various features. The downside to this introduction is the usage of Amazon App Store as opposed to Google Play. Indeed, certain Amazon smart devices cannot be trusted over privacy issues and there's no knowing if even Amazon App Store can be trusted or not. Using Amazon App Store, you'll be able to install Android and use apps on Windows 11. The good news is that Android apps can be sideloaded.
  • Xbox gaming integration: As part of the new Microsoft Store, the Xbox-related games will be in the list that you can play on Windows 11. The inconvenient thing from the event was the audacity to mention, "It just works". Sure, Fallout 76 was a disaster but recently, there happens to be new games coming in from ID Software.
  • New Microsoft Teams experience
  • Steam and Epic Games Store games on Microsoft Store: For now, the article from Softpedia may remain like an announcement-level as I don't know if Steam and EGS games will be part of the Microsoft Store or not.
  • UI Changes: The entirely of the UI is based on Windows 10X's but with many changes. The taskbar buttons are moved to the center by default but you can configure position for them to retain the traditional positioning.
  • System Requirements: Ever since the Windows Vista days, the system requirements looked harsh with 1GB of RAM and above for the sake of some of the cool looking features such as the Aero transparency for the UI and the new UI animations that are still here today. There's also the 3D window switching feature with Windows+Tab key but that was changed in Windows 8 onwards. Speaking of Windows 8, some CPU features are needed if you want to use it so CPUs without them are out of luck for that. In case of the upcoming Windows 11, its system requirements are a little bit harsher than before with the requirement of 4GB RAM, TPM 2.0 chip, a 64-Bit CPU, HD display, DirectX 12 support for video cards and 64GB of storage.
  • OS Post-Install: The annoying thing for Home Edition users is that the internet connection is needed to complete the setup. I'm not sure if the workaround is there or not in case you want to use the local account.

Windows 11 will be coming out sometime in October.

Audacity telemetry backlash

What kind of fool would go to Github or similar to make a Pull Request on an open-source software like Audacity? Like what motivated him to come up with a foolish idea that would evolve into something shady? I've been using Audacity for basic adjustments and stuff, like adding Fade Out, re-exporting something in WAV format and making a mixtape by arranging portions of the tracks in order and making various adjustments. It's quite a free and open-source alternative to other tools with similar adjustments. At the time the controversy occurred recently, I looked up online to see if there's a forked version with offending features excluded and it seemed like there's one on Github but only its source code is available.

Some things about the telemetry features in Audacity that would get people angered was the usage of Google and Yandex-related metrical features for the sake of development improvement and other things. The other person who turned out to be the one working for Muse Group had made a new pull request with a new announcement, saying that they vowed to add error-reporting and software-update features and drop the telemetry bullshit after the backlash. The discussions there were mostly professional looking and it's right to be angry in a professional way over the backlash like this. Unfortunately, there's something uncool there as well in which someone defended that backlash by taking those angry people and ranters for losers. It might seem like he was trolling on them but they discussed about his immature behavior in a professional way. Some of the replies can tell that this is not the social media land.

Through the source code, the change-to-be was caught before the merge happened and Purism even had a news article about this. It even mentioned the fact that even with the privacy settings adjusted, you still can be tracked by some companies and that has been the famous example with some Google services and Windows 10 so it sounds like certain privacy settings are not real whatsoever. For a backlash like this for Audacity, once it happens, it will open doors to alternative-software-seeking like looking for a forked version that is more respectful than the original software. The last time the backlash happened at one of the Github repositories was over the Final Burn Alpha emulator which was forked by the same team excluding the offending developer into a new alternative that succeeded it.

MrGirl's questionable contents

As if MrGirl's positive review of that obscene Netflix movie, Cu***s, wasn't controversial enough, how about his own YouTube channel itself? Most of the contents will contain tons of inappropriate stuffs but the one that caught Tipster the attention was the music video MrGirl posted. I won't mention the video title but it surely sounded like MrGirl had gone quite deep sometime after having made and taken down that positive review video. That review video was made viral and stirred controversy at the time and he got called out and other stuffs for his actions. Man, what were his complaints about what happened to him at that time for when he made that music video that was easily as inappropriate as other contents he made?

Granted, about the videos of Top 10 worst movies of last year, not many of those videos had that movie in the list as if there were other movies much worse than that. There's another video from Tipster with regards to that movie although that involved a saga I won't mention things about in details but it took place sometime after the movie was released on Netflix.

Soulja Boy's response to criticism regarding TRDR Pocket

I can assure you that most of the videos about TRDR Pocket or other Soulja Boy game consoles are mostly negative due to his history of illegal game console manufacturing starting with pre-bundled games he doesn't have the rights and license for. As if the lesson and C&D given to him were nothing to him, he had the audacity to make positive comments on certain YouTubers' videos about the TRDR Pocket.

One thing that will piss you off like it did to me was that, from his response livestream about the fact that he got criticized for his actions, he mentioned that the earlier consoles like the Powkiddy A19 and the original Retroid Pocket were ripoffs of the TRDR Pocket when IN REALITY, ITS EXTERIOR SHELL LOOKED IDENTICAL to the one from the previous consoles. If the new specs are true, that makes a difference. HOWEVER, adding his history of manufacturing knockoff game consoles and the on-going skepticism of the TRDR Pocket as the two factors you should have, and you get something unbelievable and unconfirmed like the new specs for the TRDR Pocket and the inclusion of touchscreen. It's a shame that those things were mentioned in the Soulja Boy Edition of the console but not standard ones. Another trust-damaging thing he mentioned was that the TRDR Pocket console was made from scratch. That's what the Rangok Skies developers mentioned, like the assets being made from scratch and the game's credits seemed questionable with some sound effects stolen from other games in addition to the sound effects taken from freesound.org.

Again, there's no telling if the TRDR Pocket will actually arrive to the YouTubers' places or not but if it doesn't, it's basically a mistake repeated like there's no way to know if Soulja Boy will make amends for it or not. It's like he never learns the lesson after being given the C&D the last time. The way he responded to the criticism over the TRDR Pocket was like tantrum-throwing in my opinion but this blog post may as well qualify for an angry rant as the things he mentioned from that livestream are unspeakably eccentric. There will be no intentions to support his music if this keeps up with no time for mistake realization.

TRDR Pocket

The more shady shit Soulja Boy comes up with, the more annoyed certain people can be like it's an endless amount of negative attention they've been caught. So, was the lesson given to him learnt or not? That is what we can't confirm until the existence of TRDR Pocket is proven with the Hands-On/Review video by the content creators. Until they've REALLY made one of that product, these are the following things we can't believe or confirm for now.

  1. Superior specs of the device when compared to Retroid Pocket and Powkiddy A19's.
  2. Touchscreen feature for TRDR Pocket which makes the idea more unusual in terms of design than the touchscreen inclusion on PS Vita and Wii U Game Pad. At least, the Switch is more innovative in terms of design in which the console begins with the tablet-like device which can be attached to the dock for activating more hardware power and the Joycons supersede the Wii Remote.
  3. The genuine existence of the console other than the official website itself.

As TRDR Pocket uses Android similar to Retroid Pocket and Powkiddy A19 with Google Play support and that the official website has Soulja Boy Edition, you can think that he's doing the right thing this time, right? Well, even with that console he announced with his own edition, there has to be a Hands-On video by the content creators so that we can believe it. Until then, his reputation has been made worse even today with no lessons learnt as if the lessons given to him meant nothing like he continues his shadiness. This is NOT how he makes a comeback with the other console he announced sometime ago. Moreover, he even had the POSITIVE AUDACITY TO COMMENT ON MADLITTLEPIXEL'S VIDEO OF TRDR POCKET. WHERE'S THE TRUST AT THIS POINT?

You know what else makes you skeptical about this? The illegal pre-bundling of the games and this action has been around since a few years ago. As if Soulja Boy's attitude wasn't bad enough at that time by saying that the games were "licensed" and people thought that he would be sued were retarded, the C&D order issued to him probably didn't mean something to him that he continued on the shadiness with another knockoff game console this year. You could have bought the same devices like the Retroid Pocket and Powkiddy A19 for a less expensive price elsewhere as if they are buy-able, unlike the consoles rebranded by him which the pre-ordered copies didn't arrive whatsoever.

About the content creators like ETA Prime and Retro Core, they had the content of Retroid Pocket and Powkiddy A19 and who knows if there will be a video of TRDR Pocket from them. From Retro Dodo, he had received some official clarification from TRDR Pocket team that the device indeed exists and is purchasable. However, what they weren't aware was that Soulja Boy was advertising this handheld console as his own. Time will tell if Retro Dodo will make his own Hands-On video of this product in a few weeks, provided that it manages to arrive in his own hands. So, about the touchscreen feature and system specs, those are what I don't know for now.

Don't buy any console from Soulja Boy, you could have bought the same Android-based console like Retroid Pocket, Powkiddy A19 or even the TRDR Pocket for less expensive price. Hell, you could be better off buying the more popular home consoles like Playstation 4, Xbox One or Switch, etc. instead of the shady garbage he offers.

Sac****e Swap Meet event controversy

Who would think that another division is bound to happen in the west over the controversy regarding the upcoming animation event organized by SacA***e that will take place tomorrow at The Grounds in Northern California? Will this article be an angry rant type because of the fact that many people around the globe who discovered this controversy were outraged?

Of all places the organizers could choose to organize the event at, they made a SELFISH DECISION to organize one at the place that currently acts as a vaccination center. The ones behind that place were aware of what the event organizers were planning that the organizers wrote the official news article saying that they were "saddened". Why would the organizers get "saddened" by this? Won't that be better for the event to take place elsewhere? For selfish actions like these, the clinic there is said to be closed for the days of the event.

Like, who is that event for at this time? The most selfish and grossest nerds out there? It's a good time to imagine whatever unusual cartoon franchises that will fit them and that event, like the one with wild animals represented in human form, the one with horse girls, the one with navy ship girls or the most ridiculous of all, the one with house appliances or racing cars represented in girl forms. Other things that can be there according to our imagination involve some weird music genre that can make Cool & Create and IOSYS proud or something and rhythm games that can be playable there but with Game Music and J-Pop songs taken out.

It's basically an obstruction of emergency activities in my opinion from the way the event organizers did that causes the clinic to be closed for the days of the event. Also, it's like they have more regards for the business than the on-going pandemic situation and needless to say, it will be a challenge to contain any misbehavior detected at the venue over the safety rules.

The last time I discovered the in-person event on social media was an IT-related event where people could go out to certain places involved in the event and the organizers made the right choice to make it both an online and in-person event. Also, those places used for the event were said to be the correct locations.

Lastly, I already the Doraemon franchise to be a total mistake to begin with because of the character who scores 0 in tests. There will be no support for it whatsoever like I should avoid it and the other cartoon show, Idiot-Girl, like a plague. You know what else should fit this upcoming event? Anything related to Dried-Fish Umaru franchise. It's a proof of display of the event organizers' selfishness.

Rangok Skies/Operation Dracula Controversy Part Two

So, the game was recently released on Steam despite the large amount of plagiarized assets including some sound effects and when it comes to stolen sound effects used in an indie game, that's where the players who have cleared the game can sense that something isn't right with the Sound Effect portion of the credits. Like exactly where those stolen sound effects come from other than the sound effects taken from freesound.org? Prior to the release, there were some improvements done to the gameplay and visuals but the problem of plagiarism is still serious and present, putting other controversial professional indie games I discovered in the past to shame.

In addition, there's the official website of Rangok Skies which looks fine although the news part may seem slightly unprofessional and even then, the successful release of the game on Steam ever since its mobile release 6 years ago had already upon doors to legal investigation. Will the investigation really happen? I don't know if it will really happen or not since the game is an arcade-style 2D shooter although the incident regarding Dangen Entertainment and other indie game developers was bigger enough than this that Dangen Entertainment's actions were mentioned by Sentinels of the Store Steam Curator Page. I first discovered that Steam Curator Page and community group thanks to Sidalpha who highlights the dirty game developers' shady actions. Speaking of that page, Rangok Skies may deserve to end up in it under Theft List over stolen assets.

If Rangok Skies is to end up in that Theft List from Sentinels of the Store Steam Curator Page, it will look like an important lesson for indie game developers. But then, that important lesson has been there ever since the page was established and the lists have been growing larger with newer games added in them.

Windows 12 Lite Controversy Part 4

Well, it seems that we get one more update regarding the Windows 12 Lite scam. Last month, Michael MJD managed to get a modified copy of Linux Lite 4.8 rebranded as Windows 12 Lite. The previous video by him involved the unmodified form of Linux Lite 4.8 and suffice to say, the modified form he got for the latest video isn't that much modified when compared to many other Linux derivatives with UI differences, complete branding differences in which all traces of the original names are replaced when it comes to making your own Linux derivative as well as other things that make it different than say, Debian or Ubuntu.

The Windows 12 Lite website is still ugly looking like it's done by a teen in the 90s and the online store where you can buy that OS is still shady as ever. It seems that a certain someone has been behind all this shadiness starting from Windows 12 Lite OS, its own site to the online store. The same store sells other stuffs like some smartphone that contained the previous owner's personal data or something. The description in that Windows 12 Lite website has never been professional looking to say the least like it has been false-advertising.

Even the optical discs as seen in that online store are not spared from poor decoration and the smartphones listed in it, STILL HAVE the ITCHIEST GUTS TO BRING UP something political in the item name. I won't mention those item names here but you do get the point from the latest video from Michael MJD.

Windows 12 Is Still Around and Is Wackier Than Ever by Michael MJD

Why can't Microsoft or the authors of Linux Lite and/or Ubuntu do something to the ones behind Windows 12 Lite like it's beyond me? Oh, about the individual behind that Windows 12 Lite, he was spoilt enough to call the users idiot for not using Windows 12 Lite which was something he thought to be more secure than Windows 10. Also, when he was called out, he lashed out at the others in such every immature way possible, telling them to grow up, research and other things. So, the more you call him out, the more he lashes at you so it's best that Microsoft and/or the Linux Lite authors take legal actions against him instead because his actions are trademark infringement and violation of GPL since there's no source code repository of this OS you can find on the web.

You know, I'm already more interested in Librem 5's PureOS, Mobian, Ubuntu Web Remix, eXternOS and even other Linux OSes that use Phosh shell, the GNOME UI for Linux mobile phones, than this scummy and illegal Linux derivative passed off as a new Windows OS.

Beat Arena VR

Beat Arena is the VR spinoff entry by Konami that is part of the Bemani franchise and the first in the franchise to be released in VR for both Oculus Quest 1 and 2 which require Facebook account authentication if you want to play it. Sure, the reputation of Facebook isn't that great nowadays when it comes to privacy and especially for the past controversies they had caused upon the users. One thing you should not worry is the fact that Beat Games, the developers of Beat Saber were acquired by Facebook via Oculus Studios as there will still be new content on multiple VR headsets including Oculus Quest series of headsets. For PS VR version, there's seems to be some technical limitation but that's not what we're here for.

What we're here for is the news regarding Beat Arena. It was recently released and contains tons of songs to choose from and play with other in-game band members in front of the crowd no matter which game mode you choose. There's also other instrument to choose, something Rock Band VR lacks. And what's a rhythm game without the playfield with notes coming at you? Both Beat Arena and Rock Band VR have that but Rock Band VR seems to be going steps backwards with Freestyle type gameplay for Story Mode while retaining the actual playfield in Classic Mode although the Classic Mode looks more like a practice mode since you're not playing in front of the in-game crowd.

For comparison below:

Rock Band VR

  • Classic Mode: Traditional playfield present with blank background and there are tons of songs to play.
  • Story Mode: Free-style gameplay with the band and crowd. Features several venues.
  • Lack of other instruments and online multiplayers.

Beat Arena

  • Multiple instruments to choose from.
  • Tons of songs to play with other band members in front of the crowd.
  • You get to wave your hand or something as a way of making a gratitude to other members before you start the song. I don't know if this is the case for real-life band performances or not as I'm no musician.
  • You also get to do some feedback to other band members at the end of the song.
  • Regardless of the game mode, you get to play in front of the crowd and the playfield is present on top of the live scene in the background.

It's basically Konami's answer to Rock Band VR and what Rock Band VR should have been. I'm glad that there's a display of sufficient competence from Konami but there's still no guarantee that this alone can restore Konami's reputation. There's even a Yu-Gi-Oh VR game but I have no interest in blogging about it whatsoever.

OK, it seems that I made a close comparison of Beat Arena to Rock Band VR as Rock Band VR came out a few years earlier which is the opposite of many Bemani rhythm game franchises coming out earlier like DDR, Beatmania, Guitarfreaks/Drummania and Pop'n Music coming out in the 90s for instance. Beat Arena seems new and is not part of whatever game series whatsoever. It's similar to other Bemani games that came out in the 2010s as standalones starting from Future Tom Tom, Beatstream, Dance Evolution, Dance Rush Stardom, Nostalgia and Museca although Museca had its own controversy for a lack of originality in which it had the layout similar to the one from Neon.FM arcade cabinet. Nostalgia series seems like an answer to Deemo and the same gameplay elements are in Beat Arena as well in addition to the gameplay from Guitarfreaks and Drummania series.

Region-wise, Beat Arena was recently released in Japan and Asia so the players in the western regions are out of luck as of this time.

Return of Soulja Boy's shady console saga

Man, as if Soulja Boy didn't learn his lessons after all the shady stuff he did two years ago, he had the audacity to return to selling knockoff consoles again this year. At the same time, there are STILL idiots out there defending the hell out of him and saying such defensive things to the content creators who made videos about this saga, telling them not to hate on him or diss him or telling them that the idiots trusted what he does.

About a few years ago, the content creators who bought the consoles from Soulja Boy were still not receiving any copy from him so it might seem like more than a scam. It's either similar to or different than what the scalpers will do if you buy anything from them. You may end up not getting something you want in return or even something else. Another audacity from him was that he claimed that he "researched on everything" and the games were "licensed" when in fact, the games were ILLEGALLY PRE-BUNDLED. How were they illegally pre-bundled? When it comes to clones of Famicom or Megadrive consoles that have hundreds-of-games-in-1 in the cartridge or in the consoles themselves internally, you can realize that something isn't quite right. They contain modified and duplicate copies of various NES/Genesis games as well as the games in the original form. Another problem is the emulation machines that contain hundreds of ROMS pre-bundled as well. In theory, you don't own those games whatsoever like that. Not to mention that the overall quality of those consoles sold by Soulja Boy. Certain of them have incompetent quality on both the hardware and software sides.

The recent return caught the attention of other content creators like Yongyea and Angry Joe and the C&D given to Soulja Boy didn't mean something to him that he did this shady shit again. Sure, it's the legal issues we've been concerned of ever since a few years ago, not the other types of issues the defensive idiots brought up when it comes to Soulja Boy consoles. We imagined the "Ninjas" from whatever game company being ready to take actions against him with a C&D order like he actually was sometime ago. It's like they got assigned and deployed to take down this shadiness.

Lastly, what other bad thing Soulja Boy did besides selling those knockoff consoles? It's taking the copyrighted illustration from some Disney animation for one of his song/album jackets and passing it off as his.

Beatmania IIDX 28 Bistrover's Controversial Video Saving Feature?

Really? Charging players a fee to video capture in video games? Is there a place where you can book a video filming session to get yourself filmed? Sure, holding a phone or camera alone will not look professional enough that such professional video filming equipment will be needed there and you'll need to pay a fee for a session like that and then you can do whatever you want there while you're being filmed.

Imagination-aside, there's a understanding that filming in the arcades is not allowed and prior to Konami planning this feature, many arcades in Japan and Korea have the opportunity to allow the players to screen capture whatever game they've played. I don't know if that will cost additional money or not. In case of Konami's new plan, this feature is useful for players to video capture the game in the arcades provided that they're playing the game on the Lightning Model cabinet running Beatmania IIDX 28. I do get the feeling that the E-Amusement Pass and E-Amusement account are needed for this and the video capture feature charges players a credit-per-song/quarter-per-song. It's basically a Pay-To-Showoff method besides the Pay-To-Print feature Konami had implemented in various modern arcade games.

Once the video is saved to the server at the price of another quarter, you can eventually download it to your computer or phone so you can post it to video sharing site or social media. The difference is that you won't see the Paseli and Credit counters when compared to standard video capture method that shows everything.

So it shows that Konami has regards for profits by charging players additional credits for various features in arcade games including paid loot-box features as if the Mobile and Pachinko businesses didn't anger people enough. Then again, there were recent comebacks starting with Super Bomberman R on consoles and PC but there were other controversies Konami stirred like charging players additional fees for the save slots in Metal Gear Survive, a new medal game that takes place in a casino with some Virtual YouTuber-like characters and of course, Armored Princess Battle Conductor which has the shady loot-box feature.

Man, imagine being a shill enough to put in additional quarters for such greedy features in arcade games today and especially if you want to show off your Beatmania IIDX skills. This is it, the first gaming controversy Konami stirred of this year!

Whatapp's New Controversial Privacy Policy Change (Part Two)

Many users had migrated to Telegram or Signal although those alternatives are likely to be different story when it comes to essential communication like you'll be told to use Whatsapp instead of the alternative text messaging tools as the other users don't know what they are or maybe one alternative tool isn't widely used in general. The same may go with Zoom video conferencing tool for both business and school and to use the alternative instead of Zoom for more secure video conferencing depends on whichever company you work at. If the company chooses other video conferencing tool instead of Zoom, that's the good thing. But what about personal communication through text messaging? Will you stick back to Whatsapp or use the alternative for that?

There were additional news like Telegram having a migration feature that allows you to import your Whatsapp chats to it. Even various organizations and groups have their Telegram channel you can join although some Telegram group channels may seem questionable to me. Also, the new Privacy Policy change is set to take effect in May after the backlash although it will affect businesses, not end users and even then, many users had already migrated to Telegram or Signal.

Misunderstanding or not, it will not be easy to get yourself convinced and believe that it's a misunderstanding when a controversy like this already occurred. Other controversies I had discovered with the word, misunderstanding, involved included the one regarding obscene Netflix movie, Cu***s, and the one regarding the Playstation 5 scalpers playing victim. How are THOSE controversies considered the misunderstandings when they are fishy stuffs? And there are still IDIOTS falling into the on-going shadiness by mis-believing that it's a misunderstanding! I'm not going to fall for that trick whether it's this controversy or the other.

Lastly, it's not the first time Facebook had caused a controversy like this. There were previous controversies when it comes to privacy violation by a tech company and especially that users were forced to make use of Facebook account for Oculus VR headsets. The worse thing is that Facebook had the recent audacity to lash out on the new privacy controls Apple implemented on IOS 14 as well as to announce the upcoming smartwatch that will come out next year to compete with Apple Watch. To Facebook, it's more about profit than privacy respect when it comes to IOS 14 with its new privacy controls.

Whatsapp's new controversial Privacy Policy change

Like how in the world were millions of users supposed to be truly convinced when Whatsapp tells us that the new change to the Privacy Policy affects business users only when it comes to data collection by Facebook? Business users only or not, the upcoming change had caused millions of users to migrate to the rival messaging apps like Telegram and Signal. One thing to keep in mind is that the privacy in Telegram isn't accurate as if the messages are not encrypted on the non-server-side but at least, it requires lesser permissions than what Whatsapp currently has.

Plus, I have no complete idea if even others related to me have made a switch to a secure alternative or not but I guess that according to the president of the tech company, Acronis, it is less likely for many locals to switch software. Perhaps, it's something to do with common popularity when it comes to the world of tech. Majority of the users are probably using Windows or Mac although there may be rare times you can see someone using some other OS like Linux for instance. From my experience in switching to Signal, it basically imports the contacts and messages from Truecaller app which is the one I made the default messaging app prior to installing Signal on my Android devices but I don't seem to have any way to import the group chats from Whatsapp.
