Two new games arrived

I forgot to mention and record my home activity like that for buying these two games. One is Bejeweled Blitz and one is Star Soldier Remake.

First of all, I bought this remake of Star Soldier for the PSP. It’s such a rare copy that it’s for collectors and fans of shmup and Star Soldier. It’s nothing terrible judging from the gameplay. It’s the controls you have to get used to because the entire game is vertical mode at all. I somewhat got clobbered about those two ships that I prefer the third ship which is the purple ship. It comes in handy like shooting a laser in a way of classic shmup games with the laser weapon. However, the main power comes backwards and the first ship doesn’t even help a lot. Lastly, the controls can be awkward at first for playing portable console games in vertical mode. As there are so many things to wipe out in this game, it looks like this game is also quite fun. However for mini bosses, I also got clobbered about trying to destroy them at right speed. It’s like I was destroying other things with the Blaster weapon while dealing with the mini bosses. That can give me the destructive feel. Hell, I even felt like getting arcade experience from this game that this game should deserve the arcade port. Seems that the PS2 and GC versions have the actual slowdowns but not that much as Gradius V in terms of graphics. I wish I can wipe out these mini bosses quickly like in this video. I guess I did but that’s not quicker enough due to silly firepower. That is to try out in 5 Minutes Mode. You can turn on and off the Auto-Fire thing as well as configure the control buttons on the remake but what’s the good point for the PSP version anyway that I have to keep holding my PSP like that?

Star Soldier IOSYS Remix

Secondly for Bejeweled Blitz, it’s more like a mini-game if you ask me but it contains achievements that you have to play again and again and again. There’s also other backported features from the upcoming Bejeweled 3.

Progresses

Last but not least, the Tropical Resort Arrange will consist of Act 1 and 2 and the progress hasn’t reached 100% yet. More arranges/sequenced works will be coming after Tropical Resort.

SITEX IT Show Exploration

The exploration was damn great but there were many too things to explore with like I had to go in one whole corner in a round. Strangely enough, the GPS devices are modernized as well as discovering additionally great USB devices and Google Android devices. Also, I already have an Acer laptop which is Acer Aspire 4740G that I didn’t even bother to take a look at other computers to avoid some kind of movie spoilers. For music videos, it’s surely full of popular K-Pop videos. Be it the music video or the live concert, either way, it’s an idol-like performance. One of those USB devices was a camera embedded with the flashlight which can be useful for bicycle users. The other one was a mini keyboard and when I controlled the mouse with it, it felt like you’re playing the flight or racing games. There was also the controller next to it that looked like what the Playstation 3 controller with the keyboard addon should have been. Next up was the phones. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any single Windows Phone 7 phone being shown which was a shame to this whole IT Show. There were popular GPS devices like those from TomTom for example where you can do the touchscreen thing. Unfortunately, GPS devices are not on par with the modern mobile devices with multi-touch screen support and modern interface animation. You may ask if those devices are like powered with Windows CE or something. There were also Media Center DVRs which are hard to buy at shopping complexes as well as various NAS devices and even Portable Internet TVs. Strangely enough until this year or next year, there was the first portable Internet TV launched two days ago in this country.
Overall, this IT show is a must go if you feel interested but that Drag Toilet Paper flash game contained shitty controls and the GPS devices are somewhat inaccurately embedded so that they can be on par with various modern mobile devices. I want the tapping method instead of constant sliding.

Espgaluda II for Xbox 360 was out yesterday

Before it was out, there are already screenshots and videos of this game. It features Black Label, Arrange and Xbox 360 Mode.
  • The Black Label mode can allow you to clear the enemy bullets in any mode you want where-else you can use the Kakusei mode to graze the enemy bullets. Be careful, you have limited graze bar when doing so.
  • The Arrange mode is something like Mushihimesama Futari’s Arrange mode where you can do something back to the enemy bullets in case there are too many of them for you to tolerate with. Basically, there are enemy bullets that can be shot but in Kakusei mode, it’s a limitation as you have the Kakusei items which are just below the green gem items. As you will have like thousands of Kakusei bonus items, there’s nothing to worry about the limitation of collecting these bonus items.
  • Xbox 360 mode is something we’re not sure of.
There may seem to have three BGM options and two of them are original and arranged ones. We’re not sure about the Black Label OST of this game as Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu Black Label already has its own different OST.

College Graduation Complete

Having graduated yesterday, it was a huge enjoyment outside that graduation area at Suntec City. Proceeded there for dinner, fun and other exploration, it seemed that I played Raiden IV at The Star Factory again but at Suntec City. Problem is, I hate inserting coins myself to start playing but I had no choice anyway. Thanks to the videos from Raiden IV Official Blog, I was able to try out additional skills I mastered so far from them. Even level 3 could be a little bit impressive on the boss fight and especially for level 1 and 2 boss fights there. For level 1, things were completely great looking in my playing as I used those methods from those videos as well. Unfortunately, I stopped at level 4 as the shopping complex was apparently closing. Funny thing is that I still had to use the bomb when attacking large enemies even closer so you can know most of these during boss fights.

Update: It appears like I spent on less than 7 coins or something.
