Jubeat Qubell
It may look like I may have future goals to attempt songs from Jubeat Saucer, Jubeat Saucer Fulfill, Jubeat Prop and of course, Jubeat Qubell. It may be seriously costly to attempt everything like that and especially that I'm already making some recent progress with other rhythm games like Beatmania IIDX, Sound Voltex and Groove Coaster.

Gameplay report at Virtualand at Bugis - February 5th
The confusing thing was that there are no paper labels or whatever for the custom headphone jacks on the arcade machines and not all Jubeat machines have those jacks ready for unknown reasons. Not to mention that the devices supporting custom headphone jacks should be fixed or something as when I played Beatmania IIDX on one of the machines, only the left side was outputted. Other updates for Beatmania IIDX as I knew of included the Expert Mode in February 3rd and the interface for that seems to be based on the one from Beatmania IIDX Pendual. Normally, the songs/courses are in black boxes or something with the folders having white boxes but for Expert Mode interface, I still have yet to get used to it.
Unfortunately, even with the earpiece on and hooked up to the headphone jack, I still failed the Class Level 4 in Beatmania IIDX like I was having issues with certain patterns from some songs. R5 was already painful enough with repeat notes on the same lane plus other patterns.

Jubeat Prop First Play
For Jubeat Prop, there is the player leveling up system similar to Maimai, Groove Coaster and of course Project Diva Arcade. There may be additional songs available the more you play and level up but in addition to that, there are also in-game objectives to clear as well. Sort of like the achievements but this time, you get to see the ones in the game in addition to seeing the ones on the game's official website. Also, like other Bemani games where each folder represents each mix/style or something, Jubeat Prop recently has one upon browsing through the Music Select screen. From there, I may have the similar goal in attempting the songs from Jubeat Saucer, Saucer Fulfill and Copious Append. It will take me months or something to level up my play skills from there but even then, I'm still at 4Dan and nobody knows when will I level up even further. I actually had attempted 5Dan in Beatmania IIDX the last time but I failed. Such failure might make me think of the similar failure risk should I attempt and fail the Skill Analyzer Level 5 courses in Sound Voltex due to higher difficulty.
In addition, there are additional stuffs coming up like more songs for Bemani games as part of the on-going events and after this blog post, I already know that Gitadora Tri-Boost recently came out in the arcades with the Session Combo thingy that is similar to Maimai series that has the Synchronization Combo. It looks much funner that way as you're rocking out together like a rock band.
Like always, every year a sequel comes out, be prepared to make adjustments before you even start playing it for the first time as certaint things may be reset when you migrate from the previous game to the current one.

Windows 8.1 Update for Enterprise Jump Start Day 1 missed
What I did on the day however prior to attending this was that I made additional arrangements to the songs from Reflec Beat Groovin as well as to improve the previous arrangements I already did 1-2 years ago. Of course, my busy-ness doesn't end here. There are additional songs coming in from Jubeat Saucer Fulfill and Reflec Beat Groovin.
Well, that surely explained on what was going on that caused the delay in the educational progress.

Jubeat Saucer Fulfill First Time Play
So, I started off in Light Mode just after noticing the number of credits required for Standard Mode as I inserted 4 50-cents coins, not 5. Light Mode is light with 3 songs per run and no Extreme difficulty, Standard Mode lasts 3-5 songs I believe and Course Mode is something like Skill Analyzer from SDVX II and Class Mode from Beatmania IIDX but in different way. Having to test myself with $4 is insane but the super worst thing is the over-popularity of the game. I don't think I can get some chance to play it when it has been occupied with tons of people. The achievements are nothing special like I don't see a better point in unlocking the song at the end of the game. Sure, the achievements can net you additional items needed for the song unlocking portion similar to getting Tran Medals but it is bound to be taking you endless amount of playthroughs compared to Beatmania IIDX where you have 150 Tran Medals to earn. And of course, I'm afraid that I won't be able to complete those game events on time as if the new IIDX sequel will be coming in sooner or later. Maybe a new sequel will arrive in September, October, November, December or even next year, I don't know. By the time the sequel is announced, I don't know if the rest of Tricoro songs will be available in that sequel or not by default like you don't have to unlock them at all.

This year's JAEPO for Bemani
For the original Slient Scope on the arcades, it is running on the same hardware as Gradius IV is running. I believe that the series is the light-gun sniper game series where you have to aim and shoot at the enemies like a sniper. It may be what the story of the series is all about. Just like other railgun shooter games, there may be bosses to deal with and you have to shoot off the projectiles that are shot/thrown at you. There are other things the bosses do that you must deal with or you will take damage and especially for the enemies that are too close to you out of nowhere trying to scratch the shit out of you.
The third Silent Scope is said to be the final series but it receives the mixed reviews perhaps due to the lack of arcade accessories that mimic the arcade experience? The was a reboot that was cancelled three years ago that was for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 but its genre turned out to be the third-person shooter. Why the reboot with different genre? That will ruin what the series was all about back then. This year, there's going to be a new Silent Scope for the arcades with the E-Amusement feature. I assume it will have high-definition gameplay but we don't know what PC-based arcade system the game will be running on.
Hmm, I surely prefer playing light-gun games on the consumer systems than on the arcades for some reasons.
OK, Silent Scope aside, there are newer Bemani games this year. There will be a new Pop'n Music game that has some cool anime-artworks on it but unfortunately, there isn't so much of that like you still can see the solid, cartoonish traces of the series graphically such as the ones in-game. Perhaps you can understand that this is what Pop'n Music series is all about. There will also be Jubeat Saucer Fulfill with the updated Bistro Saucer feautre. The song swap system will be gone as I can believe but it's a damn to the initial music list and the way you unlock the songs that I don't seem to play Jubeat alot. There's gonna be Gitadora Overdrive running on the same system Gitadora is as well as the update to Gitadora mobile app with colorful interface. Lastly, there's BeatStream. From what I saw, the cabinet has two HD widescreen monitors similar to the cabinets that run the games with the trading card scanning feature. Perhaps we were wrong to compare this to DJ Max Technika as DJ Max Technika has two monitors SEPARATED and running in DUPLICATE mode. Also, the gameplay is going Samba De Amigo-ish or Maimai-ish and I don't know what the hell is Konami thinking. If Sega sees this, there will be lawsuit for sure.
For existing Bemani games, there will be changes to the interface for DDR2013, as well as the Infinite Blaster feature for Sound Voltex II. I don't know what that does for SDVX II for the sake of unlocking the songs in Infinite difficulty which is obviously the most difficult one in the first place.

Jubeat Gameplay Report Oct 8th
OK, I still have tons of songs to attempt in Beatmania IIDX and SDVX and the songs in IIDX I will have to attempt will be the ones from IIDX Lincle and Tricoro. It’s kind of jerky to blog my playing of the same games again as there’s probably nothing new to say. However, it seems that we have to tell you the additional update regarding SDVX that the Skill Analyzer/Grade Certification Mode is updated with different sets of songs as well as the newer grade levels which may consist of songs to be played in Infinite difficulty.
Jubeat on the other hand as played yesterday, well, there were newer songs in stores for me but I attempted the songs I could recognize so what else can I say? I’m already sticking back to SDVX and Beatmania IIDX for sure.

Jubeat Saucer OST
Saturday, March 30, 2013
Cafe De Tran
Also, to unlock the song, Confiserie, you have to unlock all the event songs from both games so that you can unlock it in both games. It can be a tedious task in case you find IIDX seriously hard like I've been finding it hard to start off.
God, the Bistro Saucer thing, I bet it takes me forever to unlock other songs I know and want to play. Oh, the event is bound to be over by the time we reach April I think. I don't know if the songs from this event will be playable in Jubeat Plus. At least, that is the easiest way to get them played in the first place that you can save money that way and that can be what Jubeat Plus can drive you, a mobile arcade gaming through App Store, not those money consuming events that take time to complete so that you can unlock the songs. However, if the event songs are likely to be unavailable in Jubeat Plus like Konami has no plans whatsoever, I'm sure that you have no choice but to play those two games to get those songs playable.

Jubeat Saucer Gameplay Report
Back at TKA Virtualand arcade at Century Square, I was surprised to see the latest Jubeat game on the existing cabinets. With that, I could access my E-Amusement Pass to start playing. However, unlike the later days seen below, those epic Bemani players were not there. Song unlocked at the end was Heaven and Hell.
Day 2
When I reached the same place again, it seemed that those guys were already there playing Resort Anthem and Jubeat Saucer and oh god, I'm a sucker at IIDX, lol. I could probably pass the songs of up to level 7. Anything beyond that was already hard. I might have already changed the factors for playing rhythm games in the future such as the Difficulty Level by number as well as the Difficulty Level by Difficulty Category. For example, the song is at Level 9 in Extreme Difficulty that there may be risks of failing it compared to playing it in Advanced Difficulty which is Level 7. Between these two levels of difficulty, I may rather play the song in Advanced Difficulty. Damn, those guys must be playing for damn long like everyday or something and no wonder so many familiar songs were already unlocked by them. It took them like so much money to unlock most of these. The song list at first is a joke but it's really a joke if the machine is offline, so it takes time to unlock the songs you want to play through Bistro Saucer. Song unlocked at the end was Quaver.
Day 3
Damn, those same guys were at the same arcade again playing the same games. Their progress must be faster than mine and I still haven't even finished the songs in Maimai yet. Song unlocked at the end was Little Star.

E-Amusement Pass Obtained!
Oww, talk about accidental collision with someone like that but never mind. It is probably a minor mistake and I already apologized all along for that. But that aside, I managed to get the E-Amusement Pass for $6 from Bugis Virtual Land arcade which is by far the greatest arcade in Singapore. It was really hard to find where the hell was it in the first place until I found out that I was supposed to get to the area with the fountain.
Unfortunately, I made a huge mistake upon myself into concluding that I'm not anything good at Beatmania games that I kept on failing miserably when playing Tricoro like that. A rhythm game like that is seriously hard to start off and the training with the Beatmania IIDX simulators is not enough for me. It is probably due to the lack of the actual controller that mimics the arcade experience but having to use the keys and the turntable at the same time is probably more difficult for me. Maybe I should go back to Jubeat series as I can pass the songs in Advanced difficulty and besides, that series is easy to start off similar to Sega rhythm games today. What a disgrace the way I played Beatmania IIDX. Perhaps I should start off in Normal difficulty to get used to the controls.

LNY Day 1
Well, this is about what I did yesterday in personal video gaming work. I started off with the remix of Prana from Jubeat Saucer while at my big aunt’s home. Surprisingly, there was an old desktop computer that was powered by Pentium 4 HT processor and that looked like it was quite old and slow compared to the computers today. However, I don’t know if this is true or not as I have no rights to know the actual system specifications. Sure, you can replace the motherboard with another one for the desktop computer but for the outside case, people may claim that the desktop computer is still old or slow even though the newer motherboard is inside, revealing the better system specifications than the ones that came with that desktop computer. During the visit, the nieces were already there playing a bunch of casual games on the mobile devices. While working on the remix with the computer offline completely, I was distracted by them like they were having me to play those casual games. Games I never played before were Subway Surfers and Temple Run 2. Unbelievably, I scored a million in Temple Run 2 on one of my nieces’ Ipad. Perhaps, the device was big enough to do the swiping but having to tilt it might be challenging.
Next, I visited the home of another aunt of mine at Tampines where I continued my work there and fortunately, there was a power strip with empty slots for charging my laptop. However, it seemed that one of my nieces was completely clueless in using my Playstation Vita and of course, since it was a visit, all the gadgets of mine were offline so some games could be played there. Even worse was that he did something funny by taking photos with my Playstation Vita but nobody else knew that that console has various smartphone like features.
Back home, I managed to finish the work in one day before moving on to another song to arrange. The next song as of today will be December Breeze from Reflec Beat Colette, which is currently being progressed.

Yukei Seikai Reconstruction
It seems that Sasakure.uk is one of the band members of UK Rampage and the band name surely has some reference to his name and albums. Last year, there was an album consisting of the band’s covers of the respective Vocaloid songs we know of but there are also songs I don’t even know of. It doesn’t matter if the songs are composed by Sasakure.uk or not, it is basically a cover album of the Vocaloid songs. This was released in October last year and there was a concert with their covers being played and at the end of the concert, there was an announcement that some of their songs will be in Jubeat Plus and Reflec Beat Plus. Previously, Jubeat Plus had the Vocaloid songs which were the original versions but with this pack for both games, all the songs are actually the UK Rampage covers. Perhaps, it won’t cause the controversy that way but even then, we can still recognize some of the band members as well as the songs in the pack. Hello Planet and Freely Tomorrow are the known examples if you have played Project Diva series before like I did. Other known examples include Ura Omote Lovers, Senbon Zakura and Strobe Last etc. Perhaps, it is UK Rampage’s intention to put in their covers in Jubeat Plus and Reflec Beat Plus while they had given credits to the original producers. Hell, even Mitchie M already knew that his song is going to be in those two Bemani games on IOS. Also, the music pack was already released recently sometime this month.

DJ Max Ray for IOS
What, NO WAY! Why it is like Tap Sonic all over again? Hadn’t Pentavision learnt the lawful mistake from last time in which their previous DJ MAX games are already ripping off the Beatmania series? But come on, there are already other games similar to Tap Sonic on IOS and I don’t know if this one will crash on me as well.
Thankfully, this one is free just like Tap Sonic but the packs are not just like Jubeat Plus on IOS where music packs will have to be purchased as DLCs. If you probably expect the Technika like game where it is kind of legal enough on the IOS, well, you should think again because how the hell can the Technika like game be fit onto the smaller IOS devices? At least, the PS Vita is quite fittable enough for DJ Max Technika game but on the smaller IOS device, it may be too small to be frank. Just two horizontal rows of notes for top and bottom parts and it can be a boring result. However on the Ipad, a TECHNIKA LIKE GAME CAN BE FITTABLE! So all I can say is, the tablet users will be disappointed with this game. Even if this game is on Android, well, the disappointment is still there.
So what’s new in DJ Max Ray? Well, you can customize the skin of the gameplay interface, notes and other stuffs. Common features in the gameplay like speed, fade-in, fade-out, mirror and other stuffs are back from Tap Sonic but this time, things have been improved here. Another new thing is even more new songs exclusively to this game and HOW ABOUT THE EDIT MODE FOR DJ Max Technika Tune so that you can put in the custom songs, custom notecharts and that will save your ass from using those clones on the PC? I believe that the Fever scoring is also in Tap Sonic in addition to the previous DJ Max games including Technika series.
So do you probably need this when you already have Tap Sonic? Well, this is an arcade way of sequelizing the previous game like there will be additional features, additional songs and other changes to the game and the gameplay.

Jubeat Saucer
Lastly for IIDX Tricoro, the update already took place yesterday but we don’t know about what’s new in the update. I assume that the update may contain additional stuffs, additional songs, etc, but we may have doubts that the remaining machines running IIDX Lincle would be upgraded to IIDX Tricoro so that people can have the high definition experience.

Puyo Puyo 7 Obtained
Recently, I signed up for the Playstation Network this year so that I can buy more games from that service and this one is one of these PSP games that I bought for use on my Vita. Due to the use of newer networking technology, network security technology or whatever applied to my broadband connection with the UPS thing that can reduce the subscription fees, it seems that I’m not able to get my PSP connected to that network for internet access so the whole console is completely offline nowadays. Even worse is that my PSP console is getting ass in getting connected to my DIR-615 router as well. From now on, games purchased from the PSN store will be played on my Vita because the Playstation Vita has the modern features of today’s technology compared to the Playstation Portable which has the older networking support.
From what I saw upon playing this on the Vita, the graphics are all pixelated but if you tap and hold down the screen on the Vita during the PSP game, you’re able to do additional configuration but it seems that this game, Puyo Puyo 7 doesn’t seem to be making use of 3D graphics or some sort. It’s completely 2D but at least the visuals should be staying that way. Not to mention that you can tap on the corners of the screens provided that you have configured which corner triggers which button and you can assign right analog stick to be the same as the left analog stick or perhaps the D-Pad but that doesn’t seem to help you a lot in 3D games like that compared to 2D ones as if the right analog stick is kind of extra for me. Unfortunately, you can’t even take a screenshot of PSP games which is kind of bullshit to me.
Now, about Puyo Puyo 7 for the PSP, the new feature is the new gameplay that combines everything from the previous rules of gameplay as well as the newer ones. You can start to have Large Block Mode or Small Block Mode for Fever Mode. The option in the middle before you start the battle is likely to be the default or some sort. When you enter the Fever Mode, the character will transform into the personal style which may resemble the style of the previous games. In addition, if you’ve chosen Large Block Mode for Fever Mode you’re to keep on chaining yourself as each chain adds to one relatively. It’s not that the chain count will be reset after the chain reaction ends so it will keep on increasing whether you’ve performed one or two chains. So it’s like having performed a chain and then two more chains from the next chain reaction will calculate to three total chains you’ve performed. The longer the chain count, the fiercer the attack. But if you’ve chosen the Small Block Mode for Fever Mode, basically is the same Fever Mode but with smaller blocks for more powerful chain reaction. Unfortunately, it’s hard to place or see the blocks like that even if you’ve hooked up the portable console to the TV or you’re playing this on the Wii.
Meanwhile before I bought this game, there was like a bunch of people playing In The Groove like they were marching in the circles and playing at the same time. Sure I might have seen a video of a bunch of people moving to the next machine during the gameplay of Jubeat to the song, Bass 2 Bass and that video took place in China. If you’re a group of people trying to play like that at the arcades, try not to get caught or intercepted by some retards out there who dare to say that your playing is kind of crazy. What about double-playing rhythm games? Will those retards call you crazy for that? Well, if your friends see one, they will obviously drive those retards away from the arcades while watching you double-play. It may be cool to double-play rhythm games and DDR and Beatmania series are already the cool examples but double-playing in video games is not gonna be an easy challenge to step into.

Magical Beat for Nesica X Live
Hell, the game was already out in late May and hopefully, people may get to enjoy it despite the music being done by the Vocaloid producer, KikuoP. In addition, you also get to play as the Blazblue characters as well as the music from Blazblue series which may be cool enough to get around the problem in case you're not comfortable with the default music that is in the game. Once again, it seemed that Arc System Works and the developers of this game had done right.

Miku Flick on Iphone (Part Two)
The translation took a month or less to finish and there comes the English version of Miku Flick on the Iphone that was released in April 9th. We had already known the gameplay and the song list as well as the retina graphics that are taken from Project Diva Dreamy Theater series. Unfortunately, the English port is kind of a bit worse as you should stick back to the original Romaji mode which is the default one as in the original version. Your best bet to get around the problem will be to follow the arrows and the marker appearance behavior. Sure, the way the markers appear is like playing Jubeat as I already mentioned but here in the English version, the translated things can be distracting like that as if the translated text during gameplay isn’t large enough. And worse of all for Ipad users, there’s not even the HD version of the game which can be kind of sharper in my opinion. I guess that turning off the Panel Guide is something like Jubeat Stealth Mode but since I don’t have the game, I don’t know what this does when you turn it off.
So the Jubeat-like gameplay isn’t perfect as there are like overlaying markers which can be confusing on which arrows to flick on. The song list is damn short, shorter than Project Mirai itself and there’s a lack of song packs probably and the frames per second are kind of choppy. It may be a great game for the original version but the English version is not as great as the original version in my opinion. To get around the problem, stick back to the original under Keyboard Settings once you have Japanese knowledge.
Try it if you want but Project Diva Arcade has the highest amount of songs and Project Diva Arcade and Dreamy Theater have the better graphical experiences. There are other rhythm games for Iphone that have like hundreds of songs.

More updates for Sound Voltex Booth
If Evans in this game isn’t bad enough, here’s Red Zone which is even worse or perhaps the worst rendition ever in this game. It’s so freaking annoying and Vocaloid is designed for singing, not talking, rapping or any other stuff! This is such a difficult assignment for Vocaloid producers in which they participated in remixing the existing songs from previous Konami rhythm games. Most of the Vocaloid covers are fine but the others are horribly screwed up. But the better thing and way to put in Vocaloid stuff in Sound Voltex Booth will be to compose a new song with that technology and then submit it to Konami for putting the composed song straight to Sound Voltex Booth. That’s the better way and contribution so that people can appreciate the contents. At least IOSYS and Sound Holic are praised for their music work for Sound Voltex Booth but that’s not enough to rescue that game. Furthermore, some of the Vocaloid songs from Sound Voltex Booth are in Jubeat Copious Append and another major update for Sound Voltex will involve different color and certain changes. Who knows what the changes are for the next major update?

Project Diva Arcade March Update
Unfortunately, one of the songs, Intense Singing of H****** M*** is seriously the hardest song. I still can’t clear this on Project Diva Extend on PSP in Extreme Mode and the same problem went to the arcade version where things got that trickier like there was a lack of memorization of the beatmap. So far, I had done the songs from January and February updates and the March Update is the next.
From the March update, it will feature two new songs we don’t even know of at first as well as three of the songs from Project Diva 2nd. This brings a total of five and the update will be available in late March or something.
Meanwhile after this, I bought 1600 MS Points to buy Espgaluda II from Asian Games On Demand but think that I’m free after this? No, I’m still not free like that as it may be boring without working on something anyway on my computer.
Now, speaking of Miku Flick on Iphone, even AppSpy had talked about it and guess what, the music in the background is the concert version of one of the songs. Oh man, will you stop referring to the Vocaloid concerts as the first step of Vocaloid research and knowledge like that? So in the game, you’re supposed to flick on the respective Japanese characters to the music on the virtual keyboard. The markers appear on the keys like you’re playing Jubeat but then you’re supposed to swipe your finger on the markers in the respective directions. The downside is that the frame-rate is kind of choppy than smooth and the number of songs is obviously the least. Imagine treating the Japanese virtual keyboard on your smartphone as that game to whatever song you’re playing that is NOT on that game. That will be Break The Limit + Stealth Mode which this combination is twice as hard as Break The Limit mode. It may be a good deal to memorize the beatmaps from that game but the way you insert the Japanese words by typing like that will be inaccurate as if the lyrics you typed to the music may look like rubbish or something. However in the game, it appears that certain Japanese words will be fixed for you so think before you try treating the 10-key Japanese virtual keyboard as that game on your smartphone as things may be inaccurate. It’s a great idea but inaccurate to be frank.
In fact, there was a doujin Vocaloid rhythm game where you have to type in the lyrics with the computer keyboard to the music which could be even trickier as I thought. You’re supposed to type in the sentence of the lyrics on time to the music before the song moves on to the next line.
