Hard Corps: Uprising
This is one of the games I purchased as well as Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds. It is made by the makers of Blazblue and Guilty Gear series and therefore, it looks like they’ve done it right. The music surely rocks and especially for the graphics. The downside is that I’m not good as this genre and things are starting to become brutally difficult. Right now, I ‘m still at the final stage and even the upgrades from Rising Mode, the game is still as difficult as balls.
Well, where’s the crotch-sliding feature just like Contra: Hard Corps has? Without it, it can be difficult to dodge the lasers shot in all directions and the boss is like turning itself and all the lasers like that. The boss at the train stage requires careful techniques and once you get hit, you may end up falling off and dying instantly. The final stage has like inaccurate platforming as some point and things are starting to look even more difficult and this is where I got stuck. The final boss fight has the power-ups for you to get and there are tons of floating platforms where you have to climb or land on them but be careful, the final boss may end up squashing those platforms and that may be an another difficult part. The game ending, to a surprise, is another anime FMV sequence where some fighting is still taking place only to get distracted by the collapsing building. Then, the helicopter arrives with Bahamut on board but I don’t know if the game has multiple endings or not.
Beatmania IIDX 20 Tricoro Second Play
Alright, I think I got the timing right or something as I may fear of committing the same disgraceful mistake again of failing the songs like that. I actually made preparations such as playing Lincle and Tricoro songs in BMS and then storing my results in my IOS device and private SNS account but even then, the problem laid with the timing itself and how more brutal IIDX 20 Tricoro is than before.
There was one interesting mode called the Step-Up Mode which is useful for those trying to step into Beatmania IIDX and try to test-attempt and test-clear the songs that way. I went to Mid-Tier but all I got was a bunch of Level 4-5 songs. I guess that the Tier just higher than Mid-Tier will be even more difficult for me so let’s start slowly. However, by progressing through the Step-Up Mode like that, I may have to race against time like that which is kind of bad as I live in Tampines and IIDX 20 Tricoro is located in Bugis Virtualland arcade and the other place two stops away from Bugis, that is, having to go to North East line after City Hall Interchange which is more money consuming like that. Furthermore, certain months in Step-Up Mode are starting to go brutal as well on me such as having to play without whatever assistance for example, meaning to say that I have to play the songs with Auto-Scratch off like trying to push myself to my limits.
Unfortunately after playing it, I ran into another donation stuff again and I donated like $20 and received two vouchers about the store in Bedok North. It surely had pizzas, chickens, etc.

Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Obtained
It may be fun but the Emergency Mode doesn't need to consume certain health or something. I guess that it can be the same for the actual fighting game of Phantom Breaker but whatever. Also, the special gems or whatever items are needed to activate Overdrive Mode which is kind of bullshit in the first place. You're gonna need that to tackle the bosses but even then, the bosses are kind of difficult to tackle. Sure, certain characters from Phantom Breaker are in this spin-off and no wonder some of them as boss characters can be that tough. Lastly, the skill set is incomplete even at the end of the game so I don't know if there's a character level limit or something so that I can complete it while increasing the Attack, Defense and other stuff. So what, I completed the game as Mikoto for the first time with the skill set still incomplete. So, to show off the badass moves like in the beginning of the game, you need to restore skills in the skill set section which is on the top right. The bottom left is for enhancing the character's attack, defense and the other stuff.

Aaron's Law
However, it seems that the government is trying to amend this law in such a bad way that it will claim that it will criminalize all sorts of mundane Internet use that may break a website's fine print terms of service agreement. There was one example where the companies may end up committing a federal crime for having the new employees surrender the Facebook passwords for business purposes or perhaps business securities like that and that kind of policy is kind of bad as we knew of.
So far, there is some progress going on. Reps and Senators are making their proposal known as Aaron's Law. But then, last week, the members of the House Judiciary Committee made their proposal that would be the opposite of Aaron's Law by expanding certain parts of CFAA and next week, the voting will begin at anytime soon. This is where we IDL members must prevent this bad proposal from happening.
At the site http://www.fixthecfaa.com/, you will be given the right pane to fill in your Full Name, Email Address, Home Address and so on and the note is already written down for you so that your can take actions. However, I don't think there's a way you can modify the note like that but better still, keep CFAA as normal as ever as the way the House Republicans expand it is kind of bad. The voting will take place in April 10. Secondly, you may be asked to add the widget on your site and it will be activated on April 8 to spread the word. I don't know how long this will last but at least, this is prepared by IDL all along. Third is a naughty thing, it's basically an IDL Facebook app that photoshops your photo by adding the Jail layer in front of your Facebook Profile Photo which means the Jail Layer on Top of the Photo Layer by Photoshop terms. Why the hell do I want to do that? It's not like I'm falsely accused and then sent straight to Prison Island or something.

Hyper-V Q&A Live Event
Unfortunately, during the event, there was some technical problem targeting the Q&A session that all the questions were pushed over to the Help tab. For me, I had nothing left to ask questions as this event was already beyond my knowledge about Hyper-V and besides, I have never even used Hyper-V before personally. Who knows when will I be using Hyper-V but then, about 1GB to 2GB is somewhat required by then? However, the better thing is that one of the Windows Server related OS called, Hyper-V Server, is free so that you can download it and try it out for virtualization purposes although the downside is that it is going to be Server Core based so you've better be familiar with the advanced server related command line stuffs for doing whichever technical actions needed. Like the previous event I attended, the Linux OSes already have their own integrations when running them as Guest OSes on Hyper-V. I don't know if you can use the System Center technology to deploy the Macs in addition to PCs WITHOUT the use of scripting and why was I curious like that? Well, that may be because, you can use this tool for deployment through Orchestrator which is somewhat less difficult by the way.
For migration, the settings of the virtual machines can be involved as well. However, the live migration process can be interrupted abruptly if one of the systems involved in it goes down and I don't know if that can be troublesome should that kind of downtime happen during the migration process.
Anyway, that event will be how you will use Hyper-V in your business. If you're a Windows 8 user and are into virtualization thingy, go get Hyper-V now and try it out.

Zedd's Clarity Remix Contest (Note: I didn't take part at all)
DJ Noriken, on the other hand, I don't know if he's part of Bemani but then, he worked on two songs all along. That's right, one for SDVX and one for IIDX 20 Tricoro. Even IOSYS took part but in the ridiculous way. What the hell was up the idea and thoughts of IOSYS when it came to their remix of Clarity? You think that people would approve IOSYS remix like that? That's kind of ridiculous to me. Another rumored factor is that the contestants must be the US residents and I don't know if that was true or not.
Unfortunately, the whole contest was a rigged trap. We don't even see the top winner's remix in the album, like WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? But the workaround is that there are tons of other contestants' remixes available for listening online via SoundCloud for example and you can download the favorite remix of that song from that site after the contest was already over.
So, the tools were like this. You were given the loops/samples or whatever needed to remix the goddamn song with whichever equipment you have including the DAW software. Then, you had to plan out the complete originality and place all the things you had into one whole project needed for the contest. Lastly, you might need the SoundCloud account to do the submission.

Jubeat Saucer OST
Reflec Beat Limelight and Beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle OST
The OSTs of those two games as stated in the title of the blog post have the extended versions of the songs, if not, different versions and to view those exclusive tracks, you have to buy those OST CDs. Surprisingly enough, Beatmania IIDX 20 Tricoro OST has the international release although the dis-guarantee is that there are apparently some Japanese songs in that version despite the credit changes for the US/EU version. So, if you're not the fan of the genre or perhaps the Bemani games, then what's the point of buying that soundtrack as a westerner. But if you are, then that will be the one for you as the series is as popular as ever in the arcades in the east.
Now, about the Lincle arrangements I made, all of those except Wonder Walker are surprisingly using the 16-Bit soundfont. You can check those out in my YouTube account. However, to be frank, not all 16-Bit arrangements I made are credited to TheEightBit as I don't want him to think that I've gone too far like using that soundfont for something else. Apparently, I also used the soundfont for arranging certain Vocaloid songs that are in today's Sega rhythm games. But if the song names I arranged in 16-Bit form are in English, perhaps I can guarantee a smooth crediting to TheEightBit.
