Windows 10 Technical Preview Controversy

While we anticipated the hell out of Windows 10, there might be some inaccuracies with the upcoming features of it that to me don't seem to be parts of Windows 10 at all like they're more like parts of Windows 9. In the Technical Preview, there may be a new Start Menu/Screen, Virtual Desktop, new IE, Cortana for Windows, new Notification Center, new desktop UI animation, new shadow for the desktop app windows, the change of color corresponding to the background or something and the change to the File Explorer layout. However, there may be a security controversy that turns this OS in technical preview form into Windows 9 Technical Preview as if some idiot wants to get his hands on whatever the users do in Windows 10 Technical Preview with the stupid backdoor/keylogging feature implemented. There may be wonders from people if this is the same for the previous OSes but if true, what were we beta-testing OSes for? Were our beta-testing opportunities the complete waste by then?
Also, there comes the new term, FUD or Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt, which is the business term the companies have been having for the sake of their stable business. Any inferior-ass technology in the company may ruin the business for us but this term also applies to everyone else. By security, even tech companies have been concerned about customers' privacy being violated that they have to take time and need some technical resources and ideas to protect it. But by doing so, it can cause the cyber-criminals to use this protection level to get through without being detected based on whatever bad actions they do.
There was a news like that on Neowin but it was quickly taken down as it already attracted fears among the Windows beta-testers. Unlike Ubuntu nowadays where you can switch GUI to GNOME, KDE or whatever and remove Unity entirely, this is not the same for Windows 10 Technical Preview. If this keylogging thing is your concern, why do you want to beta-test that in the first place? You could have beta-tested other OSes instead although the better beta-testing opportunity nowadays will be the new Ubuntu OSes. Until then, we don't know if the privacy critcisms have been addressed by Canonical for the new Unity. Once they have been addressed for the new Unity and that it is out in the future, we should be able to use it.
The motive for this controversy is to ensure that there should be some customers' feedbacks sent to the company and we don't know if Windows 10 is going to face the same disaster as what Windows 8 did. Definition purposes of Fast, Fluid and Smooth are broken, tons of advertisements are seen in various modern apps including the Xbox Dashboard, etc. What is highly protected by then? The extensions you have in your browser? The Onedrive and Outlook?

Google buyout offer to keep Android open is declined

It's not the first time that Microsoft was interested in Cyangenmod in which they could probably buy that company so that they could use this technology for their Ex-Nokia Android devices. It was a bad idea to acquire that in the first place as we don't know what will Microsoft do next? Will the new Cyangenmod technology be supported exclusively on Nokia Android devices only by then and especially for the new Microsoft Android devices based on those? Minecraft would be multi-platform even if their makers were acquired by Microsoft but acquisition of Cyangenmod company is pretty much a bad idea in the first place. It seemed that Microsoft should be their partners to use Cyangenmod for their Nokia Android devices they're holding so that they can use their own services and technology in those devices but the downside is that there won't be Google bundled apps once those devices use the Cyangenmod OS that nobody may want to buy them.
Then, the recent news came in like Google decided to acquire Cyangenmod but it was declined. We don't know what will Google do next but we suspect that their productivity actions can be even worse than what Microsoft is planning to do next. A rejection like this by Cyangenmod may be a good thing and despite having a nice partnership with OnePlus and other companies, it appears that OnePlus made things backfire with invitation system and anyone who wanted to buy that phone was kind of disappointed.

Mushihimesama Duel

A social shmup game based on the main arcade series, Mushihimesama. This one is developed by some other company and we can assume that they already have the permission from Cave. It will look like the game will be released sometime this month for the IOS. It fills up the entire screen unlike Mushihimesama main series on the IOS. Also, this social spinoff has additional characters and you're versing another player to the similar action to the one in Strikers 1945 II on IOS and Android. Unlike the main series, you get the health bar instead of the number of lives and you are stunned for a while after taking damage although the bullets are not gone completely after doing so.

Shikigami No Shiro for IOS

From what we saw, the game for the IOS can be suited for Iphone 4 and above as the wallpaper doesn't even full up the entire widescreen for Iphone 5 and 6 but on the Ipad, it is completely fine and the game looks similar to other shmup games ported from the arcades to the IOS. The gameplay resolution is on the top center of course with the button layout looking quite similar. However, as the game is released like this year, I may probably assume that the game works for Iphone 5 onwards like we may be out of luck. Not to mention that the momentum for this series is completely dried out after Shikigami No Shiro III and Alfa System is already developing something else ever since the past. It may be the same for Skonec which is still around and we had discovered a Dance Central-like game developed by them. Also, the in-game buttons are kind of confusing for some reason as they completely full of text instead of picture icons and they're in Japanese.

Facebook tightens up guidelines for social experiments

Okay. Sure, there might be the fact that Facebook opposed certain organizations that were against the other parts of the cyber-stability such as the Net Neutrality, of course and recently, it seems that Facebook had learnt their lesson from doing all the experimental bullshit without users' knowledge. It already led the users to bashing on the service for this but this kind of improvement is still far from respecting the users' privacy. Even more bullshit is that, Facebook is already planning to collaborate with another advertising company that is already purchased by Microsoft and collect your health records without getting concerned. We have already known that Apple was already concerned about what they would do about users' health data and especially for the controversial iWatch and similar devices in which they may cause more accidents than ever that they should be banned from being in the vehicle. Rather than a digital or video check on whatever that's inside the vehicle for those devices, there should be a sign pasted in the vehicle saying that those wearable devices are not allowed in the vehicle.
So what, is the lesson a lie or something from Facebook when they're invading other parts of privacy? No, it's the truth that they had learnt the lesson but the other bullshits they have been doing should stop.

Apple Carplay with Pioneer

Perhaps, you may be better off with the normal GPS systems as certain mobile apps can be seriously distracting while you drive if you don't know what you're doing. I guess that the Photos app may be kind of unncessary as it doesn't provide you any driving information. It may be worse for you if you're driving to certain location for the first time and the map won't do any exact justice for you if you're planning to drive to that location by car probably due to outdated or inaccurate information. In fact, certain places are damn near the train stations like they're a few or several buildings away to your destination but this is like the Map online services from Google, Apple or even Bing are like playing a fool with you. Sure, the Apple Maps might be controversial back then that it was replaced with more accurate Google Maps but even then, irrevalent apps on embedded devices based on Android or IOS are seriously distracting and can be used to cause even more unexpected accidents on the road. Or better yet, don't even think of connecting this thing to your IOS or Android device and using that mobile device at all while you drive.
The positive thing about this is that it has the Radio app, Siri, Music app, Maps app, etc. You want to make a call or answer the call, you can somewhat try it with the CarPlay although I don't know if you can make a call with CarPlay alone without having to connect to your phone for the sake of that because we may expect a hands-free phone call lest you get distracted. Radio is fine in case you may need to hear the news or something just like the on-board car radio devices as well as the Siri which is the complete must for hands-free interaction. Music is fine and so is the Maps app. But what's not fine is probably the Photos and Messaging apps which may cause some sort of distraction.
Now, it may seem that this kind of technoloy is limited to certain manufacturers so it is rare to find a car holding this inaccurate technology but still, the main focus as a driver is on proper driving without technical distractions whatsoever.

Windows 10 Technical Preview

Well, it may be a surprise that they might have changed the name to Windows 10 instead of 9 probably due to various reasons they have such as the existence of Windows 9x series OSes or maybe something else. It looks like another Windows OS I'm anticipating as long as the company has respected their consumers and followed their requests and at least, the company is listening. The Start Menu is back for the desktop and laptop users and the Start Screen is still intact for tablet users. The Modern apps have the title bar which may be easy to close but those are for tablet users and that they should be in full screen mode like always. Another neat feature is the virutal desktop which is similar to the one Mac OSX, Linux and other OSes have been using although having to add too much additional desktop workspaces is already unncessary. Just a few desktop workspaces and that will do. The next change regards the File Explorer whose layout is changed a little bit and that there will be no borders for the windows by default. Not to mention that there may be new animations and new effects.
Like Windows 8, this new OS is going to be everywhere, on tablets, laptops, desktops and even phablets and smartphones. The phablet and smartphone interface will be something like the one in Windows Phone but Xbox One having this new OS? We don't know if they're really doing OS right. If done right, there may be chances that it will be ported to other devices including the Xbox One with new DirectX technology.
Unfortunately, they forgot to mention the new IE, the new DirectX, Cortana for Windows and other stuffs and that the conference event was really a small one. We don't know if the new Microsoft CEO approves this but it seems that the main fault with Windows 8 laid with Sinofsky, the man behind the product disaster as if Windows 8 and 8.1 are more suited towards tablet users but even then, it's still a disastrous mix. If Windows 10 for tablets ditches the desktop mode entirely, that's a good thing. If Windows 10 for desktops and laptops with no touchscreen has only the legacy ones, that's also a good thing as long as it doesn't have the modern apps in there. But unfortunately, we're not sure if they may end up following the same disaster with Windows 10 or something as Windows Phone to a surprise is already in the right direction.
And what else Microsoft needs to work on? Ah, the backdoors! They may need to make sure that those backdoors are all completely gone if they want to make this OS more fast, fluid and smooth as Windows 8 is already plagued with all kinds of disasters that it breaks the purpose of being that fast, fluid and smooth in the first time.
