Zero Gunner 2 on mobile

It's unbelievable that they had screwed up the mobile port of Zero Gunner 2 which is based on the Switch port. For one, the same flaws are carried over to the mobile port but from my experience, things are even worse involving the game freezes and controls sometimes not going in my favor. Here's the list of flaws for the mobile version:
  1. Enemies appearing out of nowhere on screen.
  2. Soundtrack is kind of a mixed bag compared to the one from the game's prequel.
  3. Some environmental textures/effects are missing with the mobile version missing even more than the Switch version.
  4. Enemy objects slow to a crawl when falling downwards vertically like they're making a smooth landing before exploding after being shot.
  5. The controls are not perfect although one of the control methods is like a twin-stick shooter feel. Sometimes, I end up moving the helicopter in a wrong way or turning it in a wrong direction. I think that it tests the multi-touch point conditions but I digress. Twin-stick shooters may be challenging on mobile but it's inexcusable to move the helicopter in the wrong way when two inputs are detected. A game controller should help a lot for those games on mobile, consoles, arcades and even computers.
  6. The game often freezes on me whether during gameplay or when the Pause/Continue screen is opened. This may or may not piss me off into thinking that the mobile version has more flaws. That wasted tons of my time trying to get through the game in Normal difficulty.
At least I had better time with Strikers 1945 on mobile which is based on the Switch version as ported by City Connection which already acquired Zerodiv. Zero Gunner 2 on mobile is the first one to be ported over from Switch by City Connection with Strikers 1945 being the second one and it seems that multiple companies are handling the mobile versions of the classic Psikyo games.
I don't know what kind of scumbag would ask the game developers/publishers for the mobile version of Zero Gunner 2. Is it the whaling kind of a scum or maybe a scum who's a complete mobile gamer as if that person doesn't play games on consoles, computers, online sites or even the arcades?
When it comes to spinoff games on mobile, we should have a skeptical feeling about them. We don't know if they are actually good, mediocre or even bad until we try playing them. I already played some of the mediocre spinoff games on mobile the last time in which they are spinoffs of the fighting game series. Of course, there are even mobile spinoff games of the shmup game series as well like Brick Breakers: Strikers 1945 and the other Strikers 1945 game that is assumed to have endless levels or something. That latter is more like Strikers Time Wars or something as you fly through different times, tackling enemies there all the way to the year 1999 which is when Strikers 1945 III takes place.
You ask or/and beg for the mobile version of the upcoming arcade-style game that is coming to consoles/PCs in which someone on YouTube commented like that when King of Fighters XV was announced, and you're pretty much out of the gaming community in my opinion as you're disrespecting me and the others.

Zero Gunner 2 & Strikers 1945 II on Switch

Zero Gunner 2 is maybe great or underrated when available in arcades and Dreamcast but the Switch version has made things a little bit worse.
  • The effects are enhanced although some effects are not that great. It's the same flaw as what the arcade and Dreamcast versions have but the Switch version improves them a little with Additive Blending for the explosion, splash and smoke effects.
  • Objects appear and disappear out of nowhere in some of the stages and especially for the ones that are parts of the stages.
  • Some of the environmental effects are missing and the enemy bullets on Stage 5 are darker than usual.
  • The object falling motion has both Smooth Start and Smooth Stop which ruins the purpose of a falling object. Normally, the object has a smooth beginning of the falling speed and the speed never drops until the object crash-lands on something which stops the speed abruptly.
  • The way the instruments are played isn't that great and this is the same flaw the original versions have.
This is not how you port a 2000s game to a modern console. The other Naomi games are ported better to modern platforms with better graphics, rearranged soundtracks and different sound effects. However, not all games are modernized like that. Certain games have enhanced graphics, some have different sound effects and some have rearranged soundtrack. This one has enhanced effects like other Naomi games ported to modern consoles but other things in it are ruined for some reason.
Some of the Dreamcast/Naomi games are ported to modern platforms without any enhancements whatsoever although some of them actually have true widescreen support. Other problems for other games take place in other articles.
Then, about Strikers 1945 II on Switch, there's probably not much to say although I might have played the mobile version of it. The mobile version has some backgrounds missing in some stages but the conversion is still accurate nonetheless.
