The brave thing is that many of the big IT technology companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo and so on are drifting away from the data requests coming from the government agencies probably due to lots of illegal cyber-surveillance going on even today coming from them that may have annoyed many customers and other companies that they have decided to plan to level-up the security level in even stronger ways. However, such plans like those should be done at the fast and right time if they want to gain some respect from the customers regarding better security for privacy.
The downside of this plan is that the criminals may make use of this security level for illegal activities undetected. When that happens, there should be search warrant like always no matter how hard. What is so difficult about the search warrant ever since the past?
