Raystorm for IOS

After the release of Rayforce on IOS, there comes another one in the series for IOS, Raystorm. Instead of using the HD graphics, this port uses the original graphics and thus, things will be much pixellated but it is said to be better that way according to the actual reviews and Metacritric. At Metacritic, it is unfortunate that the HD version gets the overall rating of 4/10 which is slightly below average.
How did they screw up the HD version like a little bit bad?
  1. The in-game aspect ratio is in 4:3 stretched to 16:9 display while the graphics are in high definition form.
  2. The effects are somewhat inaccurate.
  3. Some slowdowns are detected.
I guess that the first flaw is the major flaw and it is wrong to stretch the whole game like that but for the IOS version, you get two game modes and the Smartphone mode is looking like Extra Mode from the console version with the Arcade Mode being based on the arcade version. Other than these modes, the game is still identical so it's still a great game.
