From this point onwards, there isn't so much special about to say about the computers, tablets, smartphones and even the set-top box. Maybe it's because I already have the laptop computers along with Android tablets and set-top box. Some of the booths kind of brought me some memories like the Creative Labs booth, the Klipsch booth which I already had the earpiece the last time as well as the Xiaomi Set-Top Box which has the familiar UI although I don't know if the device there was newer than the one I have at home. Gaming desktop computers might be interesting to look at and talk about although gaming computers are extremely expensive as ever that you may need to be financially hardcore to buy such a computer with hardcore computer components.
There might be newer technologies which I took a look at like the Intel RealSense which was Intel's Kinect-like accessory for RealSense powered computers although I didn't bother to try out the VR but this time, it doesn't look like there's anything specially new whatsoever.
The last thing to talk about was the fact that when I went in to the venue, something from MyRepublic PS4 booth caught me the attention that easily. The console was running Street Fighter V and I eventually took turn to play it before leaving the venue. Unfortunately, as I don't have the Playstation 4, I didn't know how to pause the game so that somebody could take over. I pressed the Share button and then returned to the game, and the Pause Menu showed up as pressing Options during the gameplay wouldn't pause the game whatsoever. I wonder if somebody customized the controls or maybe there must be a proper way to pause the game on PS4 or Xbox One. Also, I cleared Survival Mode of Street Fighter V as Ryu but that was in Easy Mode. So far, it took me a short time or few stages to get used to the controls with the Playstation 4 controller.
The reason for having the Playstation 4 booth was the fact that there would be a special subscription offer from MyRepublic. You can have either the PS4 as part of the special gaming offer or the gaming computer as a special choice. It was a good move from MyRepublic to involve the Playstation 4 as part of the special gaming offer if you buy that special subscription.

Tencent TGP Box
At this time, we don't know if Tencent has full transparency or not. But that aside, Tencent, Intel and Haier have announced a new game console that is powered by Windows 10 called Tencent TGP Box, which will be released as a Blade Box.

FindFace app - Giant security nightmare?
It has been days without blog posts of this month here but there's a shocking recent news from Neowin regarding an app that comprises privacy and brings other disadvantages. Privacy violation aside, it can also be used by cyber-criminals to do harassment or any other criminal activity. It's unspeakably worse than cyber-surveillance done by government agencies like what if you get targeted by baddies through this app?
What this app does is to allow you to snap a picture of someone and use it to connect to online presence like social network and government sites. Since it's made public even for consumers, it can make you look like a cyber-criminal yourself from using this app to do those illegal stuffs to someone. In fact, it you get photographed by someone using this app, you are more vulnerable and likely to be a victim. It doesn't matter where the hell you are whether you're in the photo on the net, you're at home or some other place, you are seen in the video or live stream or even TV, there's a chance that someone can use this app to snap the hell out of you.
What if someone uses this app to snap a picture of someone from the government or whatever agency? THAT PERSON WILL BE IN TROUBLE FOR THAT! And I don't know if Apple and Google are aware of this serious security-less situation. In fact, such kind of app like this should be in the hands of government agencies only to locate criminals, not the public because things can get out of control that easily as if cyber-security is of no more like people may end up misusing it and investigation can be more complicated all because of that app. And if that's the case, DON'T MAKE SUCH KIND OF TECHNOLOGY LIKE THIS AVAILABLE TO STANDARD CONSUMERS!
A kind of technology like this for locating criminals may be a good idea but making it available to the public as if anyone can use it has caused a serious concern to other governments, human rights and privacy advocates like us. Also, whoever has shown off this app like that has made a serious mistake out of some cyber-security stupidity or something like things are getting more chaotic or something. I don't know if there will be a Cease and Desist letter issued to the makers of this app should it continue to get misused by the public consumers. Certain online services that are similar to this by Microsoft DON'T compromise customers' privacy by themselves but this kind of technology still has some other security flaws. Or the best thing is that this kind of technology shouldn't be made available to the public or standard consumers in the first place and it is why it should remain private in the hands of those agencies I mentioned above. It should stay that way although not all cases are known by the public.

Beatmania IIDX gameplay report - April 22nd
Somehow, I messed up my sleep schedule that I ended up going to the arcades quite late in the late afternoon but it looked like there was one thing to play Beatmania IIDX again, either to get my itchy fingers scratched by the sharp edge of the turntable or maybe to determine the true culprit behind the cutting of my finger skin. It turned out that the layer just below the very top of the turntable has the sharp edge that may scratch your finger skin if you're not scratching the turntable correctly like it already happened to me but it seemed that either someone peeled off the top part of the turntable again or perhaps, that part was not pasted correctly that I would expect a more accurate condition of the turntable.
Another shameful thing was that the bed or the floor I've been on is attracting some itch on my body so the itch problem isn't quite over yet and that I may expect that the dengue problem be solved in my current place as soon as possible as it is one of the most notorious ones for having the most amount of problems.
Lastly, the train track construction event for Beatmania IIDX Copula is already over as of this time of blogging and that the new event called Melody Line is coming soon. Again, the goal of playing Beatmania IIDX Copula will be to improve my skills and attempt the remaining IIDX Pendual songs. A credit or debit card is required if I want to unlock the Pendual songs that are still locked by purchasing the E-Amusement Basic Subscription but I don't know if that feature will be available outside Japan and I hate to falsify things in my accounts like that.

Let's Encrypt reached final stage
It was a surprise that Let's Encrypt by EFF had reached the final stage and Wordpress was one of the websites/blogging services to have the Let's Encrypt implemented for better security using the HTTPS protocol. As the secure certificate went final and became stable, it attracted many webmasters in which many websites finally made use of it for better security. Even many tech-giants had become EFF's sponsors of the Let's Encrypt certificate and that you can also use it for your web as well.

Groove Coaster 3 Link Fever True First Play
OK, the title says it all although two of the Groove Coaster machines were turned off for unknown reason but at least I managed to play the game again. Prior to this, I signed up for the Nesica account and choose Groove Coaster at the official Nesica website which allowed me to use the virtual currency to unlock additional stuffs. Unfortunately, certain songs that needed to be unlocked through music panels were not available for unlock at the My Page section of the game's website so I may be out of luck like that.
It's already April by the time I played Groove Coaster again at Virtualand arcade at Bugis and things went quiet after late March in which the renovation on my neighbor's home was completed or something and that there should be some peace but then, there may be fears that such peace like this won't last forever. Also, I might have fulfilled some career prerequisite by having recently published a mixtape to Mixcloud but complaints about renovation noise were still bullshit when I still have yet to fulfill the remaining prerequisites. And this is why playing Groove Coaster 3 at Century Square arcade for the first time didn't count.
On the technical side, those idiots at home NEVER know what my ambitions for those careers are all about. They never know things about IT Professional or even Disc Jockey. It's like they mistake those things for games and it was the same for this year's Lunar New Year. If they continue to make and spread those stupid rumors about me every Lunar New Year to my relatives, related aunties and uncles without any proper knowledge, then I have no one else to network with since I think that they're behaving like baddies or something. And besides, they may be more idiotic if they take any IT careers for laughing stocks.
Anyway, the renovation thing I mentioned was completed before the start of April and nobody cares for such excuses stated above. What do I care is to advance the beginning of my careers with sufficient experience and skills as well as to make future progress in arcade rhythm games. But, never be ignorant about someone's career and ambition! It's disrespecful to me as what happened this year's Lunar New Year.

Beatmania IIDX Gameplay Report - April 8th
At least the mistakes were solved this time in which I played the same set of songs in Expert Mode in Beatmania IIDX in Hyper difficulty with Auto-Scratch turned off. Unfortunately, it looked like I scratched my finger while scratching the turntable which was like causing skin cuts on that finger. Play too much of Beatmania IIDX and that finger would get its skin cut open. Fortunately, the vinyl or traditional turntable texture was nothing like that but for the Beatmania IIDX turntable, its texture has the dotted pattern that trying to scratch it too hard may result in the finger skin being scratched as well. The workaround for this is that there should be some official tape-mod for the turntable but it is quite rare to find one.
Reasons for tape-mod may be the fact that your hands may get sweaty or maybe my finger gets scratched when scratching the turntable. I don't know if the Beatmania IIDX PS2 controller's turntable has the same texture pattern or not but I don't want to risk cutting my finger skin over scratching the turntable as it may be painful. Imagine me playing Beatmania IIDX with the glove on.
Or maybe that I scratched my finger skin at the metallic edge of the turntable, I don't know.
