Megatex of last year

There was obviously one realization I had in my mind, Megatex doesn't seem to be that mega-large or anything in comparison to other IT shows I attended at Singapore Expo. Other IT shows like PC Show or SITEX looked kind of large and new to me with more brands, newer computer technology and other stuffs that expanded into multiple halls. Maybe I think that Megatex is the last IT show of every year before declaring Happy New Year or something.
This one I attended last month, there wasn't anything special or new about this. Just a short exploration of this that occupied one hall before moving back home.

Beatmania IIDX & SDVX III Gameplay Report - January 21

There's not much to say about the change other than the re-arrangement of the machines and the addition of another Groove Coaster machine, making it a total of 4 this year in comparison to 3. Also, the coin insertion behavior is different this time for Beatmania IIDX machine. Instead of having 4 credits per card scan, it's 1 credit per card scan just like other Bemani game machines.
There might be additional updates for SDVX III which would have additional songs added this week with the so-called opening theme, Independent Sky by Sound Holic. What I did yesterday was to skill analyze myself again but it's not over yet as I still have one more Skill Analysis course to go to get myself reflected again. Also, for Beatmania IIDX, I had already attempted every Level 8 IIDX Tricoro songs except for some song by IOSYS that has casino stuffs as I'm completely against anything related to gambling that I avoid it like it's a plague to education. All it is left to attempt the remaining Level 8 IIDX Pendual songs but then, when it comes to on-going events like Qpronicle Chord and Power of Nature, I don't know if I will continue to make any more progress.
Speaking of Power of Nature event, I made a mistake by clicking on the button that drained down the power by certain percentage. I shouldn't have clicked on that until I reached 100% or something so it looked like I wasted my efforts. Speaking of waste of efforts, not all Level 8 IIDX songs can be cleared easily with Auto-Scratch turned off as I need to know what the patterns are like and see if there are difficult ones or not.

Recent Twitter hack with next WW?

If the on-going cyber-spying from various agencies is not that stupid or evil enough, here comes like the news of the stupidest hack I've ever seen at Neowin. This regards UPI and New York Post being compromised and after the cyber-attack, it seems that UPI had already got aware that their Twitter account was compromised and took down various tweets made by those low-leveled cyber-idiots. Of course, after this blog post or perhaps any other similar article you can find on the net, it will take some time for those idiots to be tracked down and detained or something. The tweets as entered by those hackers may look like some of the stupidest online rumor-like tweets the public had seen and this level of cyber-penetration is totally BULLSHIT! How did this become the public news like that?
Even with the strong standard security like having stronger password, there may be other technical ways for cyber-attackers to penetrate your stuffs with any motives we can guess of. I don't have time to blog more about the same cyber-spying agencies as they have been going way too far in their evil technical schemes they call the legal methods to catch the bad guys. Even with the recent service encryption by tech-giants, there may be other bullshits we can see and predict of against it as if a bunch of whiners may want to get through it because they think it may open doors to cyber-criminals that way undetected. What about normal citizens like us seeking higher privacy level? Have they even known about that besides the bad guys?

Spotlight App on Mac OSX Yosemite

Oh man, why? In terms of security power, how did Apple screw up Mac OSX Yosemite like that with the real technical betrayals like your personal data is collected and stored on the servers for some unknown bullshit for usage of certain services on this OS like Spotlight? This is something I should have blogged earlier and this is going to be a reminder of the Unity search feature with Amazon for Unity 7 for Ubuntu which will be corrected with Unity 8 in terms of security that makes Amazon not only the search engine to choose from as Amazon for Unity 7 search engine is the default one but at least you can get out of Unity easily by choosing the alternative interface for Ubuntu like I'm already using or perhaps the Windows 8 and 8.1 search feature in the Start Screen which does the same bullshit as what Spotlight in Mac OSX Yosemite does.
This is starting to get worse for Spotlight for Mac OSX Yosemite as it is seriously vulnerable for any cyber-criminals to use it to steal your stuffs or something. That is absolutely stupid! Who the hell leaves the app, OS or service so vulnerable that it attracts cyber-criminals to intrude the Mac users like that? Is someone on the side of the customers or perhaps, the cyber-criminals? You may ask yourself or someone on who at Apple does he side with?
Perhaps, there may be guides on how to opt-out of this bullshit for Mac OSX Yosemite just like you can with Ubuntu 12.xx onwards but for those using Windows 8 or 8.1 for desktops or laptops, perhaps, the alternative will be to use the 3rd-party start menu, not the start screen even if the Start button is there.

Gogo Inflight Internet - Fake SSL certificates

Having to use any gadget for anything including web browsing in the flight may be a serious distraction to the air traffic but this security flaw as used by Gogo was making things even worse by attacking users like that. However, there was a statement by Gogo in the update that they were trying to improve the bandwidth but we don't know if the situation is solved or not. Perhaps, is the statement a total lie or what? And this security bullshit with fake SSL certificates designed with the similar bullshit motive is bullshit as well! If you happen to be on the Gogo equipped plane, it may be best that you stop using YOUR GADGETS ONLINE at all times. Or even best, don't even use them at all lest the accidents happen because of that.

Hour of Code

Hour of Code was the educational event organized by the US President globally to encourage people in all ages to learn on how to write the code. Whether you're a pre-tertiary school student, a post-tertiary school student like you're already an employee or perhaps a university student, you should be able to join this event not in case you have forgotten on coding but the better thing is that you should be able to learn other programming languages you have not learnt before. It may be a must for those studying Computer Science but it should be the same for Computer Engineers as well since there may be subjects related to programming in addition to various Computer Science related subjects.
Many companies were involved in the event such organizers, tutors, etc. although there might be idiots at Microsoft Learning or something teaching people on how to make the game that is something like that stupid Fl**py Bird through coding and other ways of game creations such as Construct2 for example which was educationally part of MVA Jump Starts. Stop teaching me in making that kind of casual game! I don't appreciate gameplay that is both unusual and terrible at the same time. It can be unusual which is fine and I have seen games like that but making it stupidly terrible is as a no-no as that stupid Fl***y Bird is unacceptable! Stop that bullshit! It's a bad influence on learners unless you want to organize the stupidest gaming creation class you call it the perfect one that teaches you on how to make terrible gameplay, plagiarize people's contents and then tell people to clone and advertise that shit.
But in the end, there may be other parts of Microsoft I still can trust including Microsoft Virtual Academy which is something I'm still supporting and I had learnt other programming languages like Javascript for instance. There was also the lesson on coding with Disney's Frozen but the interface was making coding way too easy for fun as if you probably want to redo this lesson the hard way. But doing that the hard way might give you even harder time to figure out as if the patterns might look more complicated to make than you had done the previous coding exercises on forming patterns.
It was a fun event I had joined but my studies never end that I'll keep on self-learning stuffs.

Samsung Smart TV with Tizen OS

The technology may look quite new this year with foldable devices, edged phones, curved TVs and so on but it may look like we still prefer the rectangular flat shaped TVs and monitors like always as they may seem to be useful to see every parts of the scene at once and having curved screens may pose a challenge. At least, the phones with folded edges may look like the new unique features but foldable devices may result in the extension of the so-called group, Bendgate, which was established since the Iphone 6 days due to the situation of the bended phones. That group is kind of irritating and that you should avoid joining it as they are likely to do whatever it takes to attack certain types of people things and that.
This year's CES with Samsung may feature those mentioned above including the new Smart TVs running Tizen OS as well as the support for Playstation Now for those smart TVs in which you can play PS3 games on them provided that you will need the Dualshock 4. Unfortunately, even with the Tizen OS as the alternative, there may still be security fears of backdoors embedded in Smart TVs that you may have to find other ways of using Playstation Now service. Not to mention that the UHD TVs are extremely expensive and they still don't provide retina-like display whatsoever like you still can see the dots when seeing closer. There's also Just Dance Now for those TVs as well with the use of Smart Remote and Samsung mobile devices. Wait, Samsung mobile devices for that game? It's kind of stupid to use your phones as the Wii-Remote like controller for dance games. You think this is experimental like that? Lastly, there may be games that make use of multiple screens like what the Wii U does.
Perhaps, it may be senseful in running other OSes on TVs instead of Android as not all Android games can be playable on Android TV devices and it's a difficult thing to get those playable on TV like that unless you have the third-party game controllers for that.
