Perhaps, having bought a DJ-controller from Valentine's Music Centre wasn't enough as it would not be how the bedroom DJs would show off their mixing on camera. To show off your mix on camera would require the proper speakers, DJ-controller/CDJ+Mixer and of course a laptop and a stand if you're going digital. For traditional kind of DJing would consist of the mixer and the two vinyl turntables as well as the external recording hardware for recording a demo mix. If you're using the DJ software on the computer hooked up to your DJ set, it already has the recording function when it comes to planning to make a mixtape or something. It is essential if you want to submit your demo mix to those who are looking for new DJs.
When I set up this DJ laptop stand in the bedroom, it seemed that I did it inaccurately like the right side being out of balance or something. I don't know what did I do wrong in setting this thing up but even then, the overall setup is still messy with tons of audio and USB cables and other gadgets on the table. Well, obviously, I need a better and more appropriate table for that bedroom but this is one expensive plan if you plan to show off your mix via a video.
The bigger problem is that the AC adapter for my Acer laptop was already more defective last year than before and the computer's original one didn't do quite well. A replacement is needed ASAP but for now, I do have a current laptop computer which is the ASUS branded one and it's more powerful than that laptop.
