Controversial Steam game, R*** Day, pulled by Valve

Update: It appears that Sidalpha had a video with R*** Day and other games in it posted earlier than the time the blog article was published. There is an article from Bounding Into Comics that was posted a week later regarding R*** Day as an additional news.

This is probably a challenging news for parents, schools, game jam venues, conventions and even workplaces when it comes to setting up a new policy against inappropriate stuffs in video games whether it's about playing them or perhaps, developing them. The indie game development studio, Arcane City Game Studios, were the subjects of the public outrage and they even attracted those who were against Vic Mignogna, the famous voice actor who was fired over false allegations or whatever but I should intend to steer clear of any topic involving him as you may risk getting attacked for siding with him or going against him. It's like two sides have been fighting each other like there's no way to know which one is the real truth to the other side. The same battle takes place between people who were PISSED over whatever inappropriate stuffs depicted in the Steam game, R*** Day, that was pulled by Valve and the game developers and publishers of that game.
In that game developed by Desk Lamp, you control the "most dangerous rapist in town" during the zombie outbreak. The kind of protagonist surely says it all and no gaming platform manufacturers like Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft are going to welcome this kind of indecent shit like that. The only gaming platform that allows this shit to be published will be Nu***u game console or the Nu***u game service. It can be ridiculous if someone comes up with the copyright warning message saying that R*** Day should be used only in the polar regions like Antarctica for instance only as a replacement to the Auto-Save message as if playing it outside of those is equal to copyright infringement.
What happened what that someone by the name of Spencer had reported the Let's Play videos of the previous game, The V****n, to YouTube to have those videos taken down as well as reported the official Twitter account of Arcane City Game Studios for indecent game development. What about Desk Lamp, had that person reported them as well? Following the reports, Spencer eventually made some tweets that drew tons of attention including the attraction of critics. Unfortunately, the way the attention was drawn was going to remind you of the past gaming days as if people were ignorant about the plot or some sort according to Arcane City Game Studios but in case of R*** Day, the controversy had gone to the next level. Following the attention, Arcane City Game Studios had the guts to attack back anyone who was pissed including Spencer by calling them some type of warrior. To get the other games taken off Steam just because of something offensive is already questionable in the first place as R*** Day is not the only game taken off Steam over that reason.
To call this kind of criticism or report "whiny" or some shit is childish in my opinion and Arcane City Game Studios should be ASHAMED, not calling back out those who called them out. Sure, there might be attacks between those two groups as well as the fact that the game was pulled from Steam but the development game studio should not continue to come up with such disturbing games like R*** Day.
The cyber-scoldings delivered to Arcane City Game Studios were REAL but to dismiss the scoldings like you've done nothing wrong and reporting them as abuse is epic bullshit. Even the Q&A answer of theirs from the game's official website pissed me off as well as if they may get banned from going back to their parents' home if they have their own homes. Also, the petitions to get the game pulled from Steam had gotten a victory and bravos to those who had made ones. However, to include the hashtag related to the Vic Mignogna case is WRONG. You can't compare this controversy to whatever that has been happening to him. Funny thing is, Arcane City Game Studios is siding with him even though they are obsessed with disturbing stuffs in games and cartoons. Not to mention that they have called certain fictional characters spouses or whatever and their overall actions are enough to score a permanent block from me on my accounts.
Sure, you can be a game developer/designer when you grow up which is fine but you need to know which kind of studio to work at and especially for looking at the list of games published/developed by them before you decide. Punishments may occur on you should you get caught playing the indecent and disturbing kinds of games like R*** Day or The V***** in homes, schools, conventions or even the game jams. I hope the game jams do not condone the disturbing kinds of game like those by Arcane City Game Studios. Get caught developing the disturbing and disgusting kind of game for the game jams, and you'll be BOOTED OFF THIS INSTANT! Nobody's warning you about this but I should be sure that Arcane City Game Studios should know better. Plus, I don't support, condone nor defend that kind of game like R*** Day or The V*****. Even certain movies, books, TV dramas and cartoons have that sort of fictional offenses like what goes on in R*** Day and it's a shame that someone emulated whatever actions from some AAA game and there was a news like that in which he drove his parent's car as if the whole thing was like that AAA game and caused a bunch of collisions or something.

Neo Geo Mini obtained

I sort of had the mixed opinion about the Neo Geo Mini even before I bought it for real. Firstly, the picture quality isn't that sharp when the console is hooked up to the TV which displays 720p. Secondly, the controller seems to be missing the click-iness as that component seemed difficult for SNK to produce but it is still fine nonetheless. Third, is the lack of the battery feature for the console. People were affected by such opinions but at least, the experience is still enjoyable.
As of this writing, I sort of enjoyed playing the Neo Geo Mini and this is probably my first step in legalized collection of Neo Geo games. Other legal ways to obtain Neo Geo games would be to buy them for PS3, PSP and PS Vita via Neo Geo Station, PS4, Xbox One and Switch via Hamster Arcade Archives, Wii and Wii U via Virtual Console, PC via Steam and so on. The Asian version of Neo Geo Mini is based on the Japanese one but the copyright warning screen obviously applies to the Neo Geo MVS games like there's no need to worry about copyright issues or something as if the stores had the rights to sell the Neo Geo Mini in the first place.
In the sea of Classic/Mini lines of consoles, the Neo Geo Mini suits me the most with tons of arcade games in stores for me although I may be a big sucker at them, mostly fighting games for instance. Needless to say, the boss fighters may be quite tough and the difference of the move lists between the games in the series may be a big confusion. Indeed, there are already differences in the command lists for the same character in the KOF series. Later KOF games have the EX-Mode that is activated by pressing certain buttons at once. Unlike the Neo Geo Station, there doesn't seem to be an official way to look up the move lists for the Neo Geo Mini system. I have to look up online for those moves and see if there are moves that I can pull of.
Controller-wise, the arcade stick felt more like the console controller's analog stick and the same goes with the buttons which are like recycled from the Neo Geo AES controllers.

Nu***u game console

Well, a game console that is targeted for adults-only and the shape of it is already turning me off and sickening me. If you're a parent, how would you feel when you found out that your child worked at the company that produces something as filthy as the Nut**u game console that is Windows-based and uses the Nu**** desktop application? Are you going to angrily tell them to stop working there in favor of working at a more decent company instead? Or maybe another scenario is that your child is still living in your house and you've found a game system that is as unspeakably disturbing looking as the Nu***u game console that actually belongs to them. What are you going to do, throw it away as a punishment?
Whatever that game console is, it was released this year and sold-out quickly due to the fact that it used hand-made manufacturing. It was time-consuming when compared to automated machinery that does the assembly of the complex-looking boards and stuff. Not to mention that the console is shaped like one sensitive portion of the body with the power button being the most distasteful looking of all. The specs are more or less incomplete or something but the console is said to have HDMI, audio jack, 2 USB ports, AC power jack and I don't know if that console is a Plug-and-Play type or perhaps a PC-based console like the Atari VCS is. If the console is PC-based and runs Windows, there must be a knowledge of what kind of storage it uses. Is it the traditional computer storage device like SSD, HDD? Is it the Compact Flash? Is it the internal storage that is part of the board like Android devices are? Also, can alternate OSes be installed on that console? Well, the technical information is like little and there's not much copies of this console sold. Here are the possibilities/guesses below:

1. Console is PC-based and runs Windows Embedded/IOT on SSD/HDD: Boy, you may as well wipe out every game on that storage and then put a bunch of decent and non-disturbing games on it if technically possible.
2. Console is PC-based and runs standard Windows OS on SSD/HDD: You may as well turn that thing into a standard PC by wiping out all data on that storage and then installing whatever OS you desire. I don't know if you can do this to the console that belongs to your child as a technical punishment or not but of course, technical punishments like this can be risky and there should NOT be any single educational video on how you make this console decent again through that kind of OS re-installation.
3. Console is PC-based and runs Windows Embedded/IOT on Compact Flash: Normally, the compact flash cards are probably for cameras but they can also be used as solid-state storage as used in even the embedded PC-based devices. I don't know if this is as applicable as the first possibility.
4. Console is Plug-and-Play type all along: Purifying this console by ridding it of all the distasteful garbage isn't going to work if it's a Plug-and-Play type. Perhaps, it's best to avoid buying it in the first place.
5. Console is Windows-based and runs on internal storage that's part of the motherboard: Perhaps, modification is already difficult that way as there doesn't seem to be anyway to remove any garbage from that storage as if it is read-only like the storage on NES Classic/SNES Classic/PS1 Classic/Neo Geo Mini.

So, who's going to buy this junk then? Obviously, it's the nerds who are obsessed with perverted looking cartoon-ish material. I don't condone that shit. I also don't condone even the live performances that are R18 and above like the ones from M1 Fringe Festival of two years ago. By calling this kind of stuff art or whatnot like that fringe festival dared to, it's already an act of defending something disturbing. Plus, I can block anyone who supports the indecent kinds of events on social media like I already did! It's an indirect offense aimed towards me from such indecency I discovered and it can be pointless to ask me questions on social media like, "How could you block me on social media like that?", "Do you realize that you're cutting ties with people you've blocked?". Of course, who the hell cares if I blocked anyone involved in that M1 Fringe Festival of two years ago whether they were going to perform there at that time or even support that event? Since I didn't like it, it was already best to avoid it at all costs which is as simple as avoiding this game console.
Your best bet will be to make use of the 3D printer to print a NON-DISTURBING AND DECENT LOOKING CONSOLE CASE and then fit the board of that console into it while tossing away the original console case but that doesn't seem to be enough and one of the technical possibilities above is correct.
I may or may not consider this product a controversial topic as the company has been around for a few years running the service that is similar to Kongregate except that it is aimed for adults since the games there are mostly Adults-Only kinds of stuff and it's the site you SHOULDN'T even go there. Kongregate is the decent site you should go to instead but I bet that Nu***u Games is one of my definitions of a fraudulent gaming industry and NO ONE wants to work there when it comes to starting their career at the game industry.
Funny thing is, if this console is PC-based and fully modifiable ranging from swapping console case to installing a different OS after formatting the disk, it could have been another standard computer that you can even install Crysis on it.

Fight of Gods (Part Two) (Updated)

Boy, at the time Fight of Gods, the indie fighting game was announced, the concept was unspeakably controversial and it was about gods fighting each other to prove who's the best in the tournament in that game. I don't know if this is disrespectful or not but the worse already happened when the game came out on steam. Apparently, some of the countries like Malaysia had already banned the game or even the Steam website but the easily recognized fact is that the Steam website was banned in Malaysia temporarily for a few hours all because of an indie fighting game about gods being the fighters so I'm not sure if even other countries would end up banning this game or not.
The man of Arcade Heroes was correct about how controversial the game was when it was announced during the talk about the upcoming Exa-Arcadia arcade system. I don't know if even the Switch version was banned in Malaysia as well and if that is true, not even the arcade version will be allowed there. Maybe there should be a copyright warning message for the arcade version stating that it's illegal to operate that game in the arcades in Malaysia.
Supposedly, the Exa-Arcadia would come out in the forth quarter last year but there were delays and eventually, you got to see the arcade system in action through the official livestream. From there, you could see the hardware with four cartridges in it and each cartridge is like an estimated 8GB. That's like a Dual-Layer DVD-ROM that can be fitted on standard PCs. They're basically the removable storage types or whatnot. As an arcade system that takes you back to the past root, there won't be online patches whatsoever and it can be difficult to know where the correct destination partition can be since the cartridges are insertable in any slot. The only reason for online connectivity is probably Twitch streaming but there isn't so much information about it as of this moment. Maybe the Twitch account belongs to the arcade center or something. Who knows?

Fight of Gods on Steam (Updated)

A fighting game that stars various gods from various myths and beliefs and started on Steam two years ago on PC. My first discovery about this is due to the fact that it will be released in the arcades via Exa-Arcadia. More information was revealed so far for Exa-Arcadia arcade system in action. The game select screen displays the trailers off the cartridges and the selection of the game out of four executes the program file or something while closing the game select screen.
Fight of Gods is one fighting game where you can determine which one is the best god out there. It was a little bit controversial at the time according to Arcade Heroes.
Sure, the arcade version of Fight of Gods may have additional stages and characters and the arcade enthusiasts can know better about the rules of Exa-Arcadia game development in which the arcade version should contain exclusive stuffs.

Allowance of kids to spend money on Facebook

If things weren't enough when it comes to kids spending their parents' credit cards on microtransaction stuff on mobile games, what about the ones for Facebook games? The case of gaming-whale has been endless or whatnot and the microtransaction feature is what makes gaming nowadays quite dangerous like you can buy the same few hundreds of the virtual premium currency countless times in which each few hundreds may cost $20 for instance. It's unlike a DLC item which once bought, it is available for download on any device.
This is basically termed "Friendly Fraud", in which a kid keeps on spending off the credit cards from parents/siblings/uncles/aunts/friends. I don't know if this is the same case for one of the addicted gaming parents or something but this is like gambling addiction in which an addict takes people's money and use it to gamble even more although the term, Friendly Fraud, doesn't definitely apply to that addict.
Maybe there should be a solution to the parents once the complaint is filed against one of their children spending too much off their credit cards whether it's a mobile game, PC game, console game or even an online game that is played on social media or any other web.

Modding game consoles and game save files is illegal in Japan

The cases of rigged PvP challenges/competitions have been on-going and there are many reasons on why things can occur that way such as the usage of bots, mods, impersonation, and even other things that make the challenges unfair. It's also the same case for the hacks that allow you to obtain items that are difficult to get through Loot Box feature in mobile games. Sure, having bots, gameplay modification that makes things unfair and impersonating someone are the definitions of wrong deeds and you may be in trouble in risking a ban normally. But what if a ban isn't enough for an immature-ass culprit as if he thinks he's done nothing wrong and the reporters and investigators have messed with him or something that he continues the same offense in the gaming world? One solution that causes mixed opinions is the harsh punishment by fine and jail time for modding game consoles and game saves.
As part of the updated Unfair Competition Act law in Japan, it makes modding game consoles and game save files illegal for recent reasons. Firstly, a modded game console can open doors to custom GUI, more games sthat are obtained other ways as well as things that mod the controllers so that the controllers can be used for gameplay, etc. The Classic Edition/Mini lines of consoles are the examples of the fact that you can add additional games on them but what stinks about this workaround is that it has a dark side in addition to light side. The dark side is obviously piracy of course as well as the sales of modded consoles. Tthere was already a case of a man being arrested for selling hacked SNES Classics/SFC Minis. Even the sales of hacked game software should be illegal in my opinion like I've seen the copyright warning messages for those hacked games made by the fans. I don't get on why would people modify the game save files though?
What about the old consoles and games for them then? That 's the gray area topic but to distribute something that allows you to alter game save data or even a service that offers similar stuff is said to be illegal. What makes the law considered broken is that you're playing the game online on the modded console or with edited game save.
Then, there was an episode of Game Center CX which showed off both the original and modified versions of Gradius on Famicom. Of course, only the original could be shown but the modified one couldn't as the game was modded without consent from the original game developers. Even if the modded version was praised by them, the legal issue is what's making things hold back. You expect M2 to be given an assignment to make an existing classic Famicom game even better and closer to the superior counterpart as a legal solution? Better yet, how did someone find time, resources and solution to improve that classic game even better? How did they allow the grey area stuff to be in the TV show? The same question can pretty much go for some AAA games on PC with 4K textures and other shaders. Of course, for modern games, the same risk is there when it comes to playing modded games while online.
