Standard Innovation sued for secretly collecting user data

The Amazon Echo series of products are kind of like the Windows 10's Cortana system over the on-going data collection as if Amazon is lazy enough to provide opt-out solutions to the users to determine which ones will be data-collected and which ones are not. Windows 10 already has the options and even the upcoming update for We-Vibe by Standard Innovation will enable the same level as well after some user had complained that the data was illegally collected through the usage of We-Vibe adult toy device. It's an epic shame on the IOT device makers if there's a lack of options to turn on/off data collection for certain features that you may need to be aware of.
One evidence as found from Neowin is that the hackers from DEF CON conference in August had found security flaws that the We-Vibe device indeed collected data without the users' consent. The real bashing will take effect if the device/service/software continues to compromise users' privacy on the makers' accord without any single respect to their privacy from the makers.
